There is a theory and I would say we should ignore the theory known as Thucydides trap. It essentially states that an established global power when faced with a rising power must fight. Foreign policy experts knowing of Thucydides trap are acting and talking as if an evential war with China will happen. WHen Thucydides trap is back tested its accurate less than 75% of the time, but it's part of the reason the United States doesn't tolerate rivals and part of would scares the geezers from the cold war era who still have a major influence in foreign policy.
The Trump team is essentially looking to avoid or win Thucydides trap with the following foreign policy changes. This is how the New World Order will look and you will begin to gradually see more and more shifts that represent this. First the United States will soften it's stance against Russia and split them from China by making us better economic partners than the CHinese. Notice the Russians still have some petty border disputes with China as well that get swept under the rug so there is some unnamed tension there.
The United States will secure Greenland and cut off the Chinese ships that appear way to close to the coast. The Canadians also aren't doing much to scare off Chinese "drive bys" Which is why Trump is considering how he could either acquire Canada or get them to beef up security. The Panama Canal was recently removed of Chinese companies and replaced with ones loyal to the United States.
We are also going to hand off a lot of global security to the Europeans, while we personally will soften our stance on Russia the Europeans will slowly start to rearm so invest in american Arms companies since they will be forced to buy from us. Essentially America will merely exist to counter the Chinese and The Europeans will exist solely to counter Russia. Since the Chinese and Russia also have their hands in the middle east you can expect to see the Europeans help Americans and Israelis more in that region as well.
So that's the new world order and how Trump will get rid of cold war politics and prevent Thucydide's trap.

Throughout history there have supposedly been women and African Americans credited with scientific discoveries and inventions. The black invention rabbit hole is not one I want to jump into right now, but it has ridiculous claims of inventing stuff like peanut butter and is full of lies as well.
Women and African Americans weren't intelligent or creative enough to actually contribute to science, so what often happened was that they were treated as a type of #meat-computer . We didn't have actual computers or the computers were lacking a lot of the time, so when you hear of a woman discovering a star, it's because a real scientist hired her to stare at a 10 inch region of the sky for 8 hours a day and take notes of everything she saw. It was just rote monkey work. Similarly when you see of African American women in movies such as "hidden figures", they were essentially just meat computers that did the boring tasks while actual white men made the real science happen. Here is a list of meat computers that you will often see given credit as being great scientists.

The concept of freewill has been around since at least ancient Greece when Socrates and Aristotle were exploring the role of moral responsibility. Since then it has spread through or been explored in other areas of philosophy such as with Judeo Christian values or through the enlightenment.
The illusion or belief in free will has been used to put moral responsibility on the shoulders of the individual. However despite the usefulness of this belief at placing blame on the individual, we can know that it's merely a convenient lie.
So far the theory hasn't been proved, its merely been used as an a priori assumption.

Our beliefs are formed by sensations from the outside world, we are devices that do not control our input, and if we get down to the cellular level, we don't control the electrical impulses in our brain nor do we control prior conditioning and the chemical processes that control our thoughts, which control our actions. We simply do not have the freewill because we are essentially meat computers.

#Liberals may not even be aware of what they are doing. We are all guided by #philosophies . Many of which we operate by blissfully unaware. It's worth understanding the underlying #philosophy that would cause a #liberal to support #criminalism .
I also plan to examine an underlying philosophy that #conservatives operate with and I believe more conservatives are aware of this foundational #theory they operate by than their counterparts do. I may be wrong but I will explain both. The more philosophically inclined liberals of course have more self knowledge of their philosophies than conservatives do and this will come as no surprise to them.
# What is not the purpose of this writing
The purpose of this writing is not to prove that the underlying liberal belief is wrong and I will attempt to ignore arguments that I am insinuating the underlying philosophy is wrong. Obviously I think it's incorrect and that may leak through, but my intention is to present the underlying philosophy that causes them to support criminality and contrast it with the underlying conservative philosophy that contradicts it.
# Observations of support of criminals
Before I explain the underlying philosophy behind #liberalism that causes them to support criminality it's worth briefly demonstrating this is true, but you can actually go to the videos on any social media site of the #cops interacting with a #criminal and handling him roughly. The liberals are more inclined to focus on the #police in the video and second guess every decision they make. If a person is defending their home or business from a criminal and using #lethal-force the liberal will claim that the business or home owner should willingly endanger himself and assume the criminals only intent is #theft .
I am sure some more popular cases come to mind. Ahmad Arbury was caught stealing from homes under construction and a good Samaritan held him at gun point until police arrive. Of course Arbury having very little self preservation instincts went for a man's #gun who had him at #gun-point , which resulted in a very predictable outcome. Liberals who viewed the event thought that Arbury was going for a jog despite video evidence of him coming out of construction sites and the extremely restrictive clothing. They thought he was shot in cold blood, despite him obviously going after a gun that was trained on him when anybody with a lick of self preservation in that circumstance would have waited for the police to arrive, and that's whether they are innocent or guilty.
Kyle Rittenhouse was attacked by multiple people for putting out fires. He would be dead had he not had the means to protect himself and the liberal instinct was to defend those attacking him and claim he was acting as some sort of #vigilante, as if self defense qualifies as vigilantism.
This is not to say he isn't an idiot. Obviously he made the mistake of showing up to a riot with good intentions to both keep properties safe and to render medical aid to protestors when he saw one in trouble, which he did multiple times. He was only 17 though and not yet hardened enough by the world to know how evil a mob of people can be under pseudo anonymity and fueled by rage. However we don't blame rape victims even if they walked buck naked around a bad neighborhood.
There's more examples I can think of, but it would take all day. The point is that any time you see a news story of criminals, they will normally side with the criminal. The exception would be if a Republican politician is being charged with something, its at that point they say law and justice should prevail.
The reason I brought up the things I did is also to showcase that besides defending the criminals they have no empathy for law abiding citizens who are often the victims of criminals and we are about to find out why, but first let's look at conservative philosophy.
# Conservative political Philosophy
Just like not every liberal will adhere to the philosophies I assign them not every conservative will adhere to this though even the ones who think they don't have unintentionally intuited the following philosophy. I will also present this philosophy and it's antithesis as fact, even though both are just constructs.

In the beginning it was just man and #nature. Man should be able to do what he wants and so what he is allowed to do is only constrained by natural law. soon other men move close and maybe you don't want to build a house and farm and make your food and chop wood for fires etc. So you exchange your labor for your neighbors and he chops enough wood for both of you and you farm enough for both of you. These sorts of agreements grow exponentially and #societies form. Everyone benefits from these exchanges in #labor so certain unwritten rules start to be written. You have natural rights you do what you want so long as it doesn't hurt me. #Laws are created to maintain this voluntary and mutually beneficial participation in #society . If you harm another person you have violated natural law and deserve to be punished. Robbing your neighbor is bad and you failed society. I want you to remember this a violation of natural law is a a person who takes advantage of or has failed society.
# Liberal Political Philosophy
Same as for conservatives, there are exceptions, but if you are reading this and were offended by my examples earlier than it isn't you.

In the beginning was just man and nature. Eventually more and more people show up, because you are reproducing, your neighbors are reproducing and the area is getting crowded. These close living quarters and large groups need some rules and mutual agreements to function properly otherwise it's just unworkable chaos. So a society is essentially being built up to respond to the tribes growth and the bigger the tribe the more we have to think about what works for most people.However, there's a problem. The societal structure doesn't benefit everyone. In fact it hurts some people. For the good of society some people will fall through the cracks or be harmed just by the nature of rules not being individualistic. The people the rules and societal structure negatively impact didn't have a say in creating the rules. The rules are imposed on them and they may in fact thrive if society was not forced on them. SO while the conservative would say the individual failed society, the liberal would point out that society has failed the criminal who would not be a criminal if not for society being forced upon him with rules and structures that advantage others.

Discuss if you want but maybe some people will understand each other better after reading the unconscious philosophies the other side has.

It's time to talk about it. A Jewish journalist decided to leak classified details of a chat he was accidentally included in.
If I was in the chat I personally would have immediately informed them that they are sharing sensitive information with me but I guess Goldberg doesn't care or the leak was intentional just for funsies since nothing really incriminating was in the leaks.
Or the leaks are fake which is also possible. Anyway the chat took place on signal which is secure and I am sure that high level politicians like this have their phones remote wiped and locked down in the event the phones are lost or stolen so the only security slip was including a journalist in the chat but it's not that insecure since the guy probably doesn't want to lose access by leaking the. Chat prior to the operation mentioned.

This is Goodbye, but I don't want to leave you with nothing and I guess I can explain why, but if you don't care why than just skip to the advice portion of this.
Why
The site doesn't serve me anymore. MY goals aren't aligned with the site. This is essentially a social media site. I am no longer getting anything from it. I can divert my attention to another social media or different social media sites where I can accidentally pick up knowledge in areas better suited to improving my life.
Advice
This is just a handful of things that can help you. Use this site correctly to improve your thinking. The point of threads that you create isn't to get your point of view across or to defend a point. The purposes of engaging in a thread or engaging in one is to look at your logical process. Unfortunately people too often will look at your conclusion and argue with that instead of looking at your argument and how you made it. I would urge you to help the site and others by avoiding debating the conclusion of the creator of a thread and by helping them improve their logic whether you agree or disagree with their conclusions. When you create a thread it shouldn't be a thread about the views you are most certain about. It should be threads where you have an intuitive sense that there is something wrong with your logical process. It's occasionally fine to post what you know about if you want to educate people on a topic you are an expert in, but it shouldn't be your main focus. For example there is real weak areas on the site currently where you have a lack of expert level knowledge on foreign policy or economics. Sometimes I get in the mood where I just force myself to read through 100 studies on a topic and have made myself an expert on energy policy through this method as well as through police tactics and yet you rarely if ever see me share knowledge on these things unless I actually see somebody say anything explicitly incorrect. The reason is because I gain nothing by sharing this knowledge.

Now that we have discussed how you should use this site I want to share a tool with helping your thinking, more specifically in regards to building a personal philosophy that can survive even when the world changes.
This mental trick is called "Least convenient world". Say for example that you believe that freedom of speech is inherently good. This probably comes with some parts of a world view that you aren't consciously aware of. SO how do you create a world that would make that belief extremely inconvenient. What comes to my mind is the existence of "cognito hazards" . These are essentially ideals that maybe if you thought them would result in extreme damage Maybe the thought itself could make your head explode, maybe the thought is very memable and could result in expanding indefinitely until a nuclear war happens. So then I have to ask myself, how would I have to change my view if there is a world that exists where free speech could pose an existential threat? My first instinct is that we would then have to regulate speech at some level just to ensure our continued existence. Now this doesn't mean I have to change my beliefs but it does allow me at least to create a way to falsify my belief in free speech. It can be falsified by showing me a belief that if spread through speech is truly an existential risk.
Let's try a second belief just to see the process again and this is a very important tool to have. I believe that warning labels on shampoo bottles are stupid and pointless. In the most inconvenient world possible we have a significant portion of the population who thinks eating shampoo is harmless and would do it for shits and giggles not thinking of the consequences. This means that a warning label could in this universe could save lives. So now I have to ask myself if perhaps there are actually people stupid enough to do this in the real world and is it a moral obligation to prevent their deaths by letting them know the risks of their behavior?
Please use this tool because a lot of you think extremely rigidly and are stuck in ideologies and if you continue without these tools to stretch you, you'll just continue to have dumb beliefs that progressively become more sophisticated and harder to get rid of.

Don't take things so seriously. Your personal life is what matters. No your vote doesn't matter nothing outside of your immediate circle of influence actually matters, do not waste your time debating or getting worked up over stupid shit unless you are actually doing that to really improve your thinking skills. For a short amount of time you guys will be able to keep up with me on Discord a bit but even that time is limited, at least in it's current form. If I do more youtube videos they will likely be to try and build my credibily as an expert in cyber security and be boring to those who have no interest in that.

It seems to me Democracy is bad at protecting freedom. Two types of freedom are important, that's autocracy and freedom of speech. We see a decline in both but freedom of speech is easier to point at with people in England and other countries literally being arrested for posting memes or denying the holocaust.
The one assumption you want to make when it comes to rights in a democracy is that eventually somebody you dislike will hold power and you don't want to trust them to regulate speech among other things, not to mention how disgusting it is to limit freedoms (In terms of free movement, free speech etc.) This is why it's important to protect these rights and why it was wrong for the government to use any soft power to limit the press or social media at all. Though if the press refuses to make any attempt at being free from bias and hold a monopoly on what media some people consume than it may be fair to use some force to get them to be unbiased. One step is to ban any attempts to narrative build, they should limit themselves to relaying facts. The way the facts should be relayed is also important but I don't want to get this discussion too much in the weeds.
Anyway Growing up, every political candidate I have seen in my lifetime up until Trump has been from the establishment uniparty. Even then, I am thinking that Democracy is still the way to go. I know they have their hands in all the levers of power but if they do get there through their manipulation of the media and other conniving it's fair. I assume they respect Democracy and so when it's time to go then they will peacefully leave. I never imagined I would ever have to see them make that decision but I trusted it.
They have been given that option in several places and they use all of their tentacles to essentially cheat. Many populist leaders who do challenge the liberal elite of the main parties have gained power and in return they are either blocked from actually exercising that power, for example Trump's first term where he was handcuffed and blocked even from making moves that the majority of democrats agreed with . He was blocked by establishment shills from both parties.
Other leaders have been thrown off the ballot, we have seen many arrested like Bolsanaro and the Philipino president, Duterte. Zelensky attempted to have his political rival arrested prior to the war. It's clear the establsihment doesn't care for Democracy. It is clear that they in fact don't even care about freedom, So why exactly should the populist right who has been labeled Nazis, despite being forced to withstand Nazi like tactics used on them for example limits on their freedom of speech and being imprisoned for having the audacity to be the voice of the people,. I ask why should they not just start canceling democracy and staying in power?
The right has proven it's ability to preserve freedom better, to lower crime so the elderly are safe to walk the streets at night, they have also shown an ability to love their native population as opposed to trying to replace them with foreign labor for cheaper driving down their wages, raising home prices and increasing crime.
With their record of making life so much better for everybody and with the uniparty's history of holding onto every tentacle of power in unfair and insidious ways, wouldn't the best protection for your freedom, your safety and your wallet be to support and encourage right wing leaders to destroy democracy?

The president was famous for making formerly dangerous cities safe to walk in again by cracking down on the drug problem.
He is being arrested because the left is saying it's a human rights violation to crack down on crime and make communities safe.
There is an issue of a lot of police shootings but what you have to remember when looking at those statististics is context. In the Philippines the drug dealers are shooting at cops through the door the second they start knocking essentially so there just is a lot more self defense situations.
When the country was in liberal hands the streets were unsafe and people were suffering and this guy literally made life good for the average person.

In Romania the political establishment has just banned a candidate from running because they don't like his policies.
Călin Georgescu was leading in the polls and favored to win the election but just how establishment candidates collectively decided to fuck over the German AFD party as an attempt to overthrow democracy, they now take it a step further and just outright ban a political opponent.
Maybe it's for his own good. Liberals are now arresting people who they disagree with should they win the very next election, whether that's the recent arrest of the Philippino president or Trump or Bolsonaro. Zelensky also attempt to have his political opponents arrested after he won.
The real threat to democracy is from the left.
Conservatives need to look at this and the efforts of leftists to end free speech and realize they will never be allowed to win if they play within the rules and that if the right wins, given these events than free helicopter rides are completely justified

Let's ignore the fact that Europe mooches off of America's military might be using 1% of there GDP for military while the United States subsidizes them and as a result uses 25% of it's GDP on the military despite zero benefit for doing so.
Europe has been attacking America for years with a 10% tarrifs on America's auto industry while we only tarrifs heir cars at 2%. Trump is just trying to equal the playing field here. If it increases costs, blame Europe for attacking American business with high tarrifs first.
Europe also has a VAT tax. Meaning if you import a car from Europe to drive it will cost 30% in taxes for you (a tarrifs essentially) while a European who has an American car exported will just pay like the 2.5% tarrif.
All this media claiming Trump is imposing a tarrifs and it might cause a trade war are lying. These are retaliatory tarrifs that have been harming American workers by nations who mooch off of our military might and who are supposed to be allies.

To fill in on some of this. The Core of my philosophy is that we have an ethical obligation to extend consciousness. I guess this has always been a part of the philosophy given my fears of death or my fears of losing my consciousness.
If we have an ethical obligation to extend consciousness, by contrast it is unethical to create NPC's (see Hylics). It would also by extension be unethical to behave as an NPC, and behaving as one would also be a threat to your consciousness and risks turning you into an NPC.
This is not to be gotten to here but the world has two forces essentially. One force is the the #yaldabaoth or #demiurge . This force seeks to create NPC's (hylics) through their #archons as well as through a type of matrix.
The force that opposes the archons and demiurge attempt to enslave man and the world is known as #sophia . Art often picks up on these concepts and you can gather more understanding from things like movies. Sophia is often found in art and that's why you will see attempts to silence her voice by ruining art, so as how #woke is a tool of the archons and the demiurge to destroy the presence of Sophia.
Woke isn't the only tool. The #Quran is a tool #fundamentalism and #fundamentalist s are a tool. So is watching TV 8 hours a day or doing a job that makes you shut off your brain. Anything that turns you into an #automaton is cutting off your #conscious mind and your connection to Sophia who brings knowledge.
Here is where I want to talk about the most insidious tool of the demiurge. Human #greed . It doesn't necessarily turn us into NPC's to engage with it, but we turn whole groups of people into NPC's or further trap them for our own benefit.
Giving #Plasma is essentially using humans as cattle. We feed off of them and give them some money for crack in return for feeding off of them. Going to a #prostitute is using the girl as cattle. So is buying #chinese made clothes, because you know damn well the people that work in those facilities are just barely a step above #slave . Using a woman's womb as a #suurogate for your own is using her as cattle.
Most recently I have been hearing calls to stop the #deportations of #Mexicans because #farmers can use them almost as #slave-labor .
#uncle-ted #Kaczynsky covers some of this in his book Industrial Society and it's future. He talks about how we are shaped more by the technological advances of our societies than we are by the form of government. Speaking of #government , what we are seeing now is a type of competition between #spirit and #machine . #Trump is embodying the spirit and the #deep-state is under the influence of the archons. It's this move away from the robotic pull of experts using #algorithms to control us and the move towards spirit we should all celebrate. However nearly all of us benefit off of the poor becoming cattle, and whether this means you exclusively make your own clothes, or get your coffee only if it is fair trade certified, whether it means you make a conscious decision to do what's hard and stay away from porn, or mindless consumption of media than you have an ethical obligation to stop benefitting off of human cattle and to avoid being human cattle yourself.

# Sovereign Citizens
It's always bothered me for years that sovereign citizens could be right. At least some faction of them. While the movement is criticized because it doesn't usually work and because it violates so much about what we all know about the law, what's usually ignored is whether or not the are right. They are just ignored because it's so wildly different than what we understand. Perhaps we really are or should technically be under some various British Laws or early laws before the 1800s. Maybe its the ignorance of modern court systems that prevent us from being under the jurisdiction of those laws.
I don't think it's ignorance of the true law at play. I don't think the sovereign citizens are right either. The more important question is. What if they are right? What makes a law right at all? If I am on former Cherokee land, why are their laws no longer valid? Why are the new laws correct?
I won't dig too into the weeds with that and I assume many of you have already figured out the answer to what's valid anyway, but that urge to acknowledge it is going to create cognitive dissonance for most. # The articles of Confederation

Were we breaking the law by ignoring British laws and setting up our own government. I think you all can already sense what makes a law real. That is the power and will to enforce the law. We were going to make the British die if they wanted to enforce their laws and American Citizens were willing to die to enforce theirs. Who was right? Who ever was better at violence was right. The Americans cared as much about British law as the British cared about the laws of native Americans and those laws being unwritten doesn't make them any less real.
The articles of confederation is what joined the states under a federal law. Part of the articles was the law that there should be no standing army in times of peace. Many considered this weak, but its what the founders of the United States wanted. We had a law of the land.
However, what makes a law real? That's right. Whoever is better and more willing to engage in violence to protect their ideal of the law are the ones right about the law. might is right. In 1781 a secret meeting had occurred. Curtains were shuttered, oaths were taken and the articles of confederation were replaced with the constitution by force against the wishes or even votes of anyone outside of a select few. Now the United States had 3 branches of government and the right to form standing armies.
# The 5 revolutions
People often praise the stability of the American system. We had the same system since 1776. It's literally the same government. No successful revolutions. It either comes from liberals who see the parts of the system they like as valid and it comes from conservatives that see us as having deviated from the "real system" and have some mythical view of the perfect republic from the 1950s. (barring the racial stuff).
It's not really true. We already covered the first revolt where the articles of confederation were used as toilet paper, but the stability of the government is an illusion. The 2nd revolution came when Abraham Lincoln remade the government. in his image. We won't talk about the 3rd one. The fourth revolt is when FDR created to form the administrative state so he could extend his influence to everything and a lot of this administrative state still stands.
The latest revolt (Ignoring the 2025 one), came about in the 60s. Where we have the first social justice warriors who pretended to be sane in order to fool normies. The normies were so fooled that Barry Goldwater became the biggest loser the Republicans ever had. Without going into some of the most insane shit that happened in the 60s/70s from this revolt you can currently look at speeches of black leaders praising a black woman who shot up a bunch of white coworkers by saying she wasn't targeting individuals but the system. It's literally word for word the same rhetoric used to defend many disgusting things today.
The 60's/70s is also where you can see the seeds of other identity movements such as the modern LGBTQ movement which was literally founded by strong proponents of pedophiles. These facts are not unknown to academics in queer history, it's literally in their curriculum. The history of all this is for a different post. The point is that these revolutions exist and at the end, a radical new understanding of the laws come about. Prior we didn't know that it was okay for a president to force integration of schools at gun point. Which begs the question, of what other changes can he impose on states at gun point?
The constitution is written in such a way where you can interpret it in whatever ways you feel like, which is what allows these revolutions or allows them to fit within the single country narrative. It is also what allows liberals lately to think the words in the 2nd amendment "Shall not be infringed" means "shall be infringed" or why attacks on the first amendment are so popular. It's because we really can nit pick about different words and make it mean whatever we want. It's not the constitution that creates laws, its judges who get to interpret it however they feel like.
# What's this have to do with Trump
As we can see. The correct interpretation of the law is the one which is backed up by violence. Trump has the police, military and the Americans who believe in the 2nd amendment on his side. He has the judges that matter on his side, and as we have seen might means right. It is quite literally true that "He who saves his country has not broken any law". You might not like it, but he can have a third term if he wants. Unfortunately for you he probably doesn't want one and JD Vance has been given the torch.
All the arguments about what the law says coming from the left who only just now cares about law, is as impotent as when sovereign citizens screech. The laws do not depend by what is written on paper, they depend on violence.
This is the same reason the law supported a preponderance of evidence for a rape that occurred 30 years ago for 5 minutes in a random department store. Now think of this from a non political standpoint for a second. How would you get a preponderance of evidence for a 5 minute event 30 years prior that was never reported at the time and wasn't caught on film? Whether Trump is guilty or not, than you know that evidence would be impossible to come across. What really mattered was the court that prosecuted him had more resources to inflict violence on him at the time than he had to inflict on them.
The law is an illusion and you get to choose your illusion if you have the might to back it up.

I started digging into the Mayor Adams case to see if the extremely suspicious timing of his prosecution was politically motivated
Let's just say that officials should not just avoid politically motivated prosecutions but avoid any appearance of such a thing given the importance of institutional trust. However I decided to dig in, to see if the prosecutors offered any evidence to show the public. Other prosecutors do. We know for a fact Bryan Kohlberger has evidence tying him to his crimes. We know for a fact that Luigi Mangione (PBUH) has evidence tying him to the crimes he is accused of.
So it isn't the policy of prosecutors to hold back evidence. So why have we seen zero evidence tying Adams to his supposed crimes.
Well we know the following syllogism is true
P1 prosecutors show evidence to the public of a crime when they are confident it is true
p2- we have seen zero evidence of Mayor Adams guilt (suspiciously)

The only argument we hear from the left is that we should have abortion due to respecting a woman's bodily autonomy. I am not sure if this argument is used to appeal to the fact conservatives prioritize freedom, but it doesn't seem to be honest and at best is inconsistent.
Personally I think it's wrong to murder a child whether it might infringe on a person's bodily autonomy or not, but let's just assume that the child doesn't count as a human. Let's examine the bodily autonomy argument alone.
# The Argument
Premise 1 - bodily autonomy is or should be a right
premise 2 - banning late abortions infringes on bodily autonomy
conclusion- Abortion bans interfere with the right to bodily autonomy
## What is Bodily Autonomy
For the definition of bodily autonomy I went to an organization that advocates for the right to abortion. https://arc-southeast.org/2024/01/12/what-does-bodily-autonomy-mean/
*Bodily Autonomy refers to each person’s right to make decisions about their own body, without coercion or limits imposed by outside forces*
This is also how Libertarians and others who think of the philosophical definition of bodily autonomy would define it. They would call it self ownership, but it's essentially the same thing. Many would limit this and say something along the lines of "Your right to swing your fist, ends where my face begins", but those advocating a pro choice position I have never seen bring this up.
I think it's not brought up because most pro life people would agree with the bodily autonomy premise if you add in the statement about autonomy ending where another person's face begins. Then the argument is about personhood again.
The bodily autonomy argument we can take should take precedent over the baby's life.
## What this analysis leaves out
The one thing I want to leave out here is that the bodily autonomy argument may be a pro choice strawman in and of itself. It's not worth discussing much, if it is. If it's a type of projection where they think pro life proponents have some secret wish to control the bodies of women than the argument cannot be taken seriously. Even that projection would be a way to attempt to get around the beliefs of most pro life proponents. The true belief that they legitimately believe an unborn baby is a real person who deserves to be protected in her most vulnerable state, while she is completely dependent on her mother.
If you don't actually believe in bodily autonomy (at least in its most extreme form) than just be honest and give your true argument which is most likely that an unborn baby is not a person and doesn't deserve any special protection. Also if you that is you than this isn't for you other than to point out your hypocrisy.
Another thing the analysis leaves out is any sort of argument against the most extreme pro life arguments. nearly all people who call themselves pro life will still support abortions if they put the health or life of the mother at undue risk, and I think a sizable amount of those who call themselves pro-life will also not object to abortions done in the first few months of pregnancy when the unborn child has quite obviously not achieved personhood.
This analysis is also not for libertarians. I have found that there is an extreme form of libertarianism that is entirely consistent with their beliefs in bodily autonomy up to the point of legalizing child neglect.
## What a consistent belief in bodily autonomy looks like
There are some that take the bodily autonomy premise as an absolute and take it seriously, but first and to reiterate the point we know that pro life people believe in bodily autonomy to a certain extent. They just believe that bodily autonomy ends where another persons face begins.
The pro choice people who just claim to believe to in bodily autonomy in the same way would just disagree with whether an unborn baby counts as a "person".
Others who respond to pro life arguments about the sanctity of personhood by bringing up bodily autonomy are admitting in a roundabout way that they just value a person's bodily autonomy over the life and health of another.
### Covid 19
A consistent belief in bodily autonomy would not support vaccine mandates or forced mask wearing. Granted this won't apply to all liberals who support bodily autonomy. Most of the calls for vaccine mandates during the time of Covid 19 were a small minority of liberals, in the United States at least. Liberals in other countries need to know they are most likely inconsistent on bodily autonomy and reconcile that somehow.
### Taxes and Subsidies
Taxes are probably going to be the biggest inconsistency, showing the bodily autonomy argument doesn't work as a good enough premise. By necessity if you do support any sort of social subsidies than you necessarily would have to support taxation, because otherwise the subsidies would be unfunded.
Perhaps you could argue that the government could print money and then taxes would be unnecessary. I would argue that printing money is a form of taxation since it dilutes the current money supply and decrease the value of money.
Taxes and subsidies present a problem for those who use autonomy to argue in favor of the pro-choice position due to the previously mentioned bodily autonomy argument.
Income is derived from labor and it is income from this labor that is taxed. This means that at least some of the time you do not have the self ownership that is required to claim you have bodily autonomy. If you work 10 hours and the money from 1 of those hours goes to taxes, than the government owned your body for that hour.
By extension, if a persons labor is required for the subsidies or "positive rights". Meaning by law they have to perform a service or they are arrested or punished for dereliction of duty, it would violate bodily autonomy. Requiring the MMR vaccine, somebody to show up to get an ID, or even to stop masturbating in public are all violations of bodily autonomy.
## Conclusion
The only people consistent on bodily autonomy are Hoppes style Libertarians, so it is not a valid argument against those who believe they are standing up for the rights of babies.
