Alright, so... no NK. Either scum waived it or it was prevented. I'm still sussing Luna, but he's the only claimed protective role in play that could have prevented the NK, so I'm going to reconsider my reads.

Also, worth noting that JoeBob's flip includes this role:

Keep that in mind when we consider night actions. FYI, I did not receive notification that I had absorbed something NP2 for use in NP3.

So you don't like that I actively considered his history as a scum player, which contradicted your presentation of it? Based on his role claim and his lack of confirmation of said role, I can see reasons to scumread him, but I'm not just going to take a statement like "he always does this as scum" as gospel. I don't think it's scummy to investigate your claims of his prior behavior as scum and find them wanting, but I guess you disagree.

I don't really have behavioral reasons for Austin and Barney. That's POE. If anything, I'd say Barney is behaviorally more town and Austin's just behaviorally null.

As for Luna, I'd chalk that up mainly to a lack of activity on his part and some lazy reads. When he did post his reads back in DP2, there's a notable lack of insight into many of the players in the game, particularly Barney, Austin and me. Maybe he was just overly focused on Banana and JoeBob at the time, but taking the stance that Austin and Barney had next to nothing to read (they did by that point, even if it wasn't a lot), and just lightly sussing me based on our history as scum together without pointing to specifics did stand out to me, as did the lack of clear reads beyond throwing some sus around in DP3.

It would hardly be a first as either scum or town for me to be defensive of other players, but fair enough. If I'm not in everyone's POE anyway, I'd be surprised.

As if for a mediawiki page with double brackets for local links (note that I am specially replacing words to hopefully not be mod killed), a certain number of routes to immortality, the myth of how many years someone can live according to the bible (this was 5 words, again, need to change things to not be mod killed), some dead Jewish carpenter (and maybe not a good one at that) being frozen in ones heart, the pursuit of doing less bad than good.

Sorry dude but the double bracket thing is nonsense. I am town and it’s simply not a thing. Also if it were a thing mafia would be smart enough to just lie and say something in double brackets. Let’s not get caught up in reads like this over behavior

You’ve been in my scum pile for a while now, Austin and Barney have been null because they had posted so intermittently. I am now leaning town on Austin and scum reading Barney. Austin activity shift has been better and his reads seem solid, Barney needs some way to confirm himself and I don’t like absorber as a town role it makes more sense as a fake claim

I get that, though I'll point out a couple of things.

One, several of the flips that have been posted so far haven't included the entirety of their character essays, so it's entirely plausible that one or more of them don't have bracketed words in theirs.

Two, and I realize this is WIFOM, but I volunteered this information after a bunch of people had already stated the existence of bracketed words in their PMs. It's pretty clear that many of the bracketed words include the literal characters of other players, so I had a plethora of options for claiming that someone else's character was just present in my PM in brackets. Also, I've been scumreading JoeBob since well before I claimed. You'd have to believe I'd both bus my scum partner and also claim that we have this in common.

Still not clear what the reason is for scumreading me. Also, I'm the claimed Absorber, not Barney.
