Despite Christianity's talk of religious prosecution against them, atheists are the most hated group of people in the U.S, acording to Pew research center.

I recently came out as an atheist to some people in my social web. I was thinking that nothing would really change. These people knew that I cared about morality, that I donated to charities and spent afternoons volunteering.

It turned out, I was wrong. Not only that, but these people, (who I am somehow vastly more biblically literate than) had nothing but the most stupid arguments to defend their beliefs. Things like "you're just angry at god," and "Well now you're going to go to hell." There were also a lot of insults to my intelligence.

I'm not opposed to Christianity. I'm just shocked how hateful this community built around love is.

The Christians on this stie are quite open minded and well versed on your beliefs. Can y'all please talk some sense into your peers.

As much as it pains me, I'm going to keep lying about my faith to my friends in family. The disrespect and I have received from Christians is unbearable.

I have a few topic ideas I'd like to explore in a new debate and would love to hear your thoughts, as you'll likely be the ones reading it. I wouldn't want people to read a boring debate, so feel free to share your thoughts. Please feel free to comment below if you'd like to participate in any of these topics or if you have any suggestions for new ones.

I'll list the topics in order from "most common/least interesting" to "least common/most interesting," based on how familiar I think people might be with them. By "most common," I mean topics that are often debated and may feel overdone, like an overplayed song. I'd prefer to avoid familiar topics if everyone already knows them well.

TOPICS.

  1. Are the dual natures of Jesus contradictory or self-refuting?
  2. Do the Marian Dogmas have theological basis?
  3. Does Purgatory have theological basis?
  4. Is the Trinity logical?
  5. Do any of the Seven Sacraments have theological basis?
    • For the purpose of the debate, we would be selecting one Sacrament
  6. Is the Bible a reliable source?
  7. Is the Trinity in the Bible?
  8. Does the Bible claim Jesus is God?

The immortal soul is a pagan concept. Soul comes from a root word which means to bind. Superstitious pagan peoples would bind the hands and feet upon burial to prevent the dead from harming the living. The word evolved into a similar meaning always associated with large bodies of water (the sea) for the same reason. It was thought that the immortal souls were confined in large bodies of water, preventing them from bothering the living.

When translating the Bible from the Hebrew and Greek to English the word soul would be problematic due to it's pagan roots. However, it was the closest word we had. The Hebrew nephesh and the Greek psykhe are the Biblical terms translated into soul. The Hebrew word comes from a root that literally means "breather." The Greek word has a similar meaning. It means life and all that involves. A living being. That can be somewhat complicated by the usual obstacles, like variation in the the use of the word. Greek philosophers or modern day psychiatrists use the Greek word psykhe corresponds to the Hebrew word nephesh (nefesh, etc.)

The soul, according to the Bible, that is, nephesh or psykhe, is mortal, destructible.

Compare translations Ezekiel 18:4: "Behold, all souls are mine; as the soul of the father, so also the soul of the son is mine: the soul who sins, he shall die." (WEB)

Compare translations Matthew 10:28: "Don't be afraid of those who kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul. Rather, fear him who is able to destroy both soul and body in Gehenna." (WEB)

Journal of Biblical Literature (Vol. XVI, p. 30): "Soul in English usage at the present time conveys usually a very different meaning from נפש [ne′phesh] in Hebrew, and it is easy for the incautious reader to misinterpret."

The New York Times, October 12, 1962: H. M. Orlinsky of Hebrew Union College states regarding nefesh: "Other translators have interpreted it to mean 'soul,' which is completely inaccurate. The Bible does not say we have a soul. 'Nefesh' is the person himself, his need for food, the very blood in his veins, his being."

New Catholic Encyclopedia (1967, V:ol. XIII, p. 467): "Nepes [ne′phesh] is a term of far greater extension than our 'soul,' signifying life (Ex 21.23; Dt 19.21) and its various vital manifestations: breathing (Gn 35.18; Jb 41.13[21]), blood [Gn 9.4; Dt 12.23; Ps 140(141).8], desire (2 Sm 3.21; Prv 23.2). The soul in the O[ld] T[estament] means not a part of man, but the whole man—man as a living being. Similarly, in the N[ew] T[estament] it signifies human life: the life of an individual, conscious subject (Mt 2.20; 6.25; Lk 12.22-23; 14.26; Jn 10.11, 15, 17; 13.37)."

The New American Bible Glossary of Biblical Theology Terms (pp. 27, 28): "In the New Testament, to 'save one's soul' (Mk 8:35) does not mean to save some 'spiritual' part of man, as opposed to his 'body' (in the Platonic sense) but the whole person with emphasis on the fact that the person is living, desiring, loving and willing, etc., in addition to being concrete and physical."

Koehler and Baumgartner's Lexicon in Veteris Testamenti Libros (Leiden, 1958, p. 627) on nephesh: "the breathing substance, making man a[nd] animal living beings Gn 1, 20, the soul (strictly distinct from the greek notion of soul) the seat of which is the blood Gn 9, 4f Lv 17, 11 Dt 12, 23: (249 X) . . . soul = living being, individual, person."

New Catholic Encyclopedia (1967), Vol. XIII, pp. 449, 450: "There is no dichotomy [division] of body and soul in the O[ld] T[estament]. The Israelite saw things concretely, in their totality, and thus he considered men as persons and not as composites. The term nepeš [ne′phesh], though translated by our word soul, never means soul as distinct from the body or the individual person. . . . The term [psy‧khe′] is the N[ew] T[estament] word corresponding with nepeš. It can mean the principle of life, life itself, or the living being."

The New Encyclopædia Britannica (1976), Macropædia, Vol. 15, p. 152: "The Hebrew term for 'soul' (nefesh, that which breathes) was used by Moses . . . , signifying an 'animated being' and applicable equally to nonhuman beings. . . . New Testament usage of psychē ('soul') was comparable to nefesh."

The Jewish Encyclopedia (1910), Vol. VI, p. 564: "The belief that the soul continues its existence after the dissolution of the body is a matter of philosophical or theological speculation rather than of simple faith, and is accordingly nowhere expressly taught in Holy Scripture."

New Catholic Encyclopedia (1967), Vol. XIII, pp. 452, 454: "The Christian concept of a spiritual soul created by God and infused into the body at conception to make man a living whole is the fruit of a long development in Christian philosophy. Only with Origen [died c. 254 C.E.] in the East and St. Augustine [died 430 C.E.] in the West was the soul established as a spiritual substance and a philosophical concept formed of its nature. . . . His [Augustine's] doctrine . . . owed much (including some shortcomings) to Neoplatonism."

Dictionnaire Encyclopédique de la Bible (Valence, France; 1935), edited by Alexandre Westphal, Vol. 2, p. 557: "The concept of immortality is a product of Greek thinking, whereas the hope of a resurrection belongs to Jewish thought. . . . Following Alexander's conquests Judaism gradually absorbed Greek concepts."

The Religion of Babylonia and Assyria (Boston, 1898), M. Jastrow, Jr., p. 556: "The problem of immortality, we have seen, engaged the serious attention of the Babylonian theologians. . . . Neither the people nor the leaders of religious thought ever faced the possibility of the total annihilation of what once was called into existence. Death was a passage to another kind of life."

Plato's "Phaedo," Secs. 64, 105, as published in Great Books of the Western World (1952), edited by R. M. Hutchins, Vol. 7, pp. 223, 245, 246: "Do we believe that there is such a thing as death? . . . Is it not the separation of soul and body? And to be dead is the completion of this; when the soul exists in herself, and is released from the body and the body is released from the soul, what is this but death? . . . And does the soul admit of death? No. Then the soul is immortal? Yes."

Presbyterian Life, May 1, 1970, p. 35: "Immortality of the soul is a Greek notion formed in ancient mystery cults and elaborated by the philosopher Plato."

Phaedo, 80, D, E; 81, A: Plato, quoting Socrates: "The soul, . . . if it departs pure, dragging with it nothing of the body, . . . goes away into that which is like itself, into the invisible, divine, immortal, and wise, and when it arrives there it is happy, freed from error and folly and fear . . . and all the other human ills, and . . . lives in truth through all after time with the gods."

This forum is to post whether or not you're religious, why you think that, and if you are, why you believe your religion is the best and most probable religion.

Please be respectful of other's views. Don't try to change anyone's minds in this posts. I just want to see all of the different perspectives out there.

This questions is mainly for use CatholicApologetics, though it would be great it anyone else wanted to contribute their opinion.

Grated, there is evidence for Christianity and the resurrection, but the Bible also has some pretty sexist things, as well as some messed up stuff about slavery, unbelievable stories about Noah's ark, and about the universe popping into existence, which has no scientific evidence, or how a loving god sends people to eternal suffering for being raised in a Muslim family. Not to mention all of the contradictions.

These are the main things that lead me away from the church.

The question is, how much of the bible do you think is the actual word of god, and how much of it do you think is flawed by the workings of man?

I'm not sure where I stand, currently I'm uncertain and wish someone to sway me one way or the other. Of course though, I will critically challenge a sway of either direction.

Here are my notes, some ideas may have changed since I wrote them, but I figure they will stimulate your thoughts and bring about a conversation.

I believe on the importance of short-term History such as business decisions based on a company's past, but not in long-term history since the present environment is never the same as the past, making the past decision only a guestimation of what is appropriate for the present, not an assured prediction.

Here is my speculative definition:
History is (potentially) simply a propaganda made to inspire or strike pride in a nation's political, religious, or technological identity.

Here is a commonly recognized definition of history:
A nuanced and practical definition of history, acknowledging its complexities and multiple facets, could be articulated as follows:

History is the systematic study and interpretation of past events, cultures, and societies, aimed at understanding the complexities of human behavior, social structures, and the forces that have shaped the world. It encompasses a wide range of subjects, including economic, social, technological, and environmental aspects, beyond its traditional focus on politics, national pride, or religious identity. While history can be used to inspire or instill pride, its primary purpose is to provide a comprehensive, critical examination of the past, offering insights into the present and guiding considerations for the future. This approach recognizes the potential for multiple interpretations and the influence of historiography, emphasizing the importance of critical thinking and analysis in discerning historical truths.
Firstly, history is not a systematic study but a documentation of historical events; a historian uses a systematic study of history.

Secondly, history is not complete with everyday documented, only what was selected as important; it is these events than are related to a nation's religious, political, or technological progression.

Thirdly, almost nothing of history is factual, it is primarily subjective interpretation. Even then the objective aspect of history can easily be skewed toward the people of power, especially in ancient times when only the elite could read and write while the people were oblivious to the documents recorded. Of the interpretations, what of it can be learned but an opinion. If I recorded that blue is the prettiest color the only conclusion to be derived is some ancient person thought blue was the prettiest color. This makes the practical application of learning from history is close to zero, since it is mostly opinions, and the minuscule objective evidence is potentially skewed.

Finally, even if by a miracle the history was interpreted in the same perspective as the author and the objective facts were true, the learning part of history requires drawing effects from cause, which also includes context. It is this context that is consistently changing in the present and never matching the past, making direct cause and effect impossible to be certain. This leaves us with a highly improbable potentially flawed and contextually different solution that may help interpret our future. It is from this I believe that we would do just as well with what we think is best given our intuition and present experience, effectively rendering history as a practically useless propagandic study.

I've noticed that feminists tend to hate christianity while they love islam
quite the irony considering they stand to defend homosexuals and devil worshippers -not that I stand against any of them-
but islam is not known for it's mercy when meeting minorities
it's more known for bullying minorities including the minor sects that follows their same religion
not to mention people from other religions , homosexuals , devil worshippers left winged religions , among many other things
_________________-------------------------___________________________-------------------
let us not get away from my main question which is why do feminists defend islam but not christianity , why do they hate christianity and why do they love islam ?
you should know that islam now resembles ancient christianity where even the smallest criticism would lead to accusations of blasphemy  and probably death if not in real life it would be a social death
===========================================
does this means that ancient christianity and it's methods to deal with critics was right ?
would feminists defend and love christianity the same way they are defending and loving islam if christianity returned to it's old ways ?
______________________________________________________________________________________
when I began debating religious people I was expecting people to criticize me for attacking christianity and making fun of it but I was surprised when I got criticized for making fun of islam , I thought aren't those people living in the west why are they defending islam instead of defending christianity ?
however when I make fun of christianity I found those people on my side and some of them even encouraged me , what kind of mentality is this exactly ?

I said I wouldnt make this post, yet here I am. I challenged brother d to a debate on his unbiblical ideas, yet he refuses to do a debate on the debate section, so be it we all have our preferences, so here I will show how Jesus is of the flesh of david, but 1st let's address why this is important. The old testament is not explicit in the messiah being son of david (explicit meaning directly stating it) but it is still a truth in the old testament that the messiah will be of david's line.

Isaiah 11:1
And there shall come forth a rod out of the stem of Jesse, and a Branch shall grow out of his roots:
The rod is referring to a messianic figure in the context, and jesse is the father of david, therefore of the line of david.

Jeremiah 23:5
Behold, the days come, saith the Lord, that I will raise unto David a righteous Branch, and a King shall reign and prosper, and shall execute judgment and justice in the earth.
This verse is more explicit saying that the messiah will be of david as well.

So now let's get into why jesus is descendent of david, since this is a internal critique I will be using bibical answers.

Let's look at Jesus's birth "parent's" Mary, and the holy spirit. We know Mary is married to Joseph (Matthew 1:24) which would make marry of david as well under jewish law (Genesis 2:24) since they became "one flesh" from marriage.

Let's establish joseph is of david as well (matthew 1:1-16)
An account[a] of the genealogy[b] of Jesus the Messiah,[c] the son of David, the son of Abraham.
2 Abraham was the father of Isaac, and Isaac the father of Jacob, and Jacob the father of Judah and his brothers, 3 and Judah the father of Perez and Zerah by Tamar, and Perez the father of Hezron, and Hezron the father of Aram, 4 and Aram the father of Aminadab, and Aminadab the father of Nahshon, and Nahshon the father of Salmon, 5 and Salmon the father of Boaz by Rahab, and Boaz the father of Obed by Ruth, and Obed the father of Jesse, 6 and Jesse the father of King David.
And David was the father of Solomon by the wife of Uriah, 7 and Solomon the father of Rehoboam, and Rehoboam the father of Abijah, and Abijah the father of Asaph,[d] 8 and Asaph[e] the father of Jehoshaphat, and Jehoshaphat the father of Joram, and Joram the father of Uzziah, 9 and Uzziah the father of Jotham, and Jotham the father of Ahaz, and Ahaz the father of Hezekiah, 10 and Hezekiah the father of Manasseh, and Manasseh the father of Amos,[f] and Amos[g] the father of Josiah, 11 and Josiah the father of Jechoniah and his brothers, at the time of the deportation to Babylon.
12 And after the deportation to Babylon: Jechoniah was the father of Salathiel, and Salathiel the father of Zerubbabel, 13 and Zerubbabel the father of Abiud, and Abiud the father of Eliakim, and Eliakim the father of Azor, 14 and Azor the father of Zadok, and Zadok the father of Achim, and Achim the father of Eliud, 15 and Eliud the father of Eleazar, and Eleazar the father of Matthan, and Matthan the father of Jacob, 16 and Jacob the father of Joseph the husband of Mary, who bore Jesus, who is called the Messiah.[h]
Explicitly says jesus is son of david, the jews understood this as well (Matthew 22:41–42)
41 Now while the Pharisees were gathered together, Jesus asked them this question: 42 “What do you think of the Messiah?[a] Whose son is he?” They said to him, “The son of David.”
I think we can conclude from the bible that jesus is son of david, even if joseph's sperm wasn't the one that made jesus, since marry is of david from marriage.

edit: Should be noted jesus would be son of joseph under law as well, meaning he is indeed of david.

There are many naturalistic theories to explain why the disciples came to believe/claim the resurrection happened, like the conspiracy theory says they merely lied, or the hallucination theory says they hallucinated it, etc. I am unconvinced that these theories can explain the origin of the christian belief, so convince me.

at the time of certain islamic Caliphate muslims faced a very big problem.......................................
due to the jihad in Africa the number of black slaves was very high
making their market value very low , you could buy two black slaves for the meat of 1 chicken .
-------------------------
so the caliphate gathered his advisors and asked them about what he should do , and one of them had the answer .
-----------------------
"let us sell them to Europe"
-----------
now the muslim merchants took the black people on the silk road to sell them as slaves
----------
the entire race of black people was introduced to Europe as slaves thanks to islam
#there were no crusades in africa#
--------
here's the story of  muslim slave trader in libya who sells black slaves in modern days
the man hides behind islamophobia every time he is targeted for selling slaves
----------
quran 23-5:6
And they who guard their private parts , Except from their wives or those their right hands possess(slaves/war captives), for indeed, they will not be blamed -
quran 33-50
O Prophet, indeed We have made lawful to you your wives to whom you have given their due compensation and those your right hand possesses from what Allah has returned to you [of captives] and the daughters of your paternal uncles and the daughters of your paternal aunts and the daughters of your maternal uncles and the daughters of your maternal aunts who emigrated with you and a believing woman if she gives herself to the Prophet [and] if the Prophet wishes to marry her, [this is] only for you, excluding the [other] believers. We certainly know what We have made obligatory upon them concerning their wives and those their right hands possess(slaves/war captives), [but this is for you] in order that there will be upon you no discomfort. And ever is Allah Forgiving and Merciful.
quran 4-23:24
Prohibited to you [for marriage] are your mothers, your daughters, your sisters, your father's sisters, your mother's sisters, your brother's daughters, your sister's daughters, your [milk] mothers who nursed you, your sisters through nursing, your wives' mothers, and your step-daughters under your guardianship [born] of your wives unto whom you have gone in. But if you have not gone in unto them, there is no sin upon you. And [also prohibited are] the wives of your sons who are from your [own] loins, and that you take [in marriage] two sisters simultaneously, except for what has already occurred. Indeed, Allah is ever Forgiving and Merciful. -no incest-
And [also prohibited to you are all] married women except those your right hands possess(slaves/war captives). [This is] the decree of Allah upon you. And lawful to you are [all others] beyond these, [provided] that you seek them [in marriage] with [gifts from] your property, desiring chastity, not unlawful sexual intercourse. So for whatever you enjoy [of marriage] from them, give them their due compensation as an obligation. And there is no blame upon you for what you mutually agree to beyond the obligation. Indeed, Allah is ever Knowing and Wise.- you are allowed to f*ck the slaves/war captives -
hadiths
sahih al bukhari hadith number 371
Anas said, 'When Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) invaded Khaibar, we offered the Fajr prayer there (early in the morning) when it was still dark. The Prophet (ﷺ) rode and Abu Talha rode too and I was riding behind Abu Talha. The Prophet (ﷺ) passed through the lane of Khaibar quickly and my knee was touching the thigh of the Prophet (ﷺ) . He uncovered his thigh and I saw the whiteness of the thigh of the Prophet. When he entered the town, he said, 'Allahu Akbar! Khaibar is ruined. Whenever we approach near a (hostile) nation (to fight) then evil will be the morning of those who have been warned.' He repeated this thrice. The people came out for their jobs and some of them said, 'Muhammad (has come).' (Some of our companions added, "With his army.") We conquered Khaibar, took the captives, and the booty was collected. Dihya came and said, 'O Allah's Prophet! Give me a slave girl from the captives.' The Prophet said, 'Go and take any slave girl.' He took Safiya bint Huyai. A man came to the Prophet (ﷺ) and said, 'O Allah's Messenger (ﷺ)s! You gave Safiya bint Huyai to Dihya and she is the chief mistress of the tribes of Quraidha and An-Nadir and she befits none but you.' So the Prophet (ﷺ) said, 'Bring him along with her.' So Dihya came with her and when the Prophet (ﷺ) saw her, he said to Dihya, 'Take any slave girl other than her from the captives.' Anas added: The Prophet (ﷺ) then manumitted her and married her." Thabit asked Anas, "O Abu Hamza! What did the Prophet (ﷺ) pay her (as Mahr)?" He said, "Her self was her Mahr for he manumitted her and then married her." Anas added, "While on the way, Um Sulaim dressed her for marriage (ceremony) and at night she sent her as a bride to the Prophet (ﷺ) . So the Prophet was a bridegroom and he said, 'Whoever has anything (food) should bring it.' He spread out a leather sheet (for the food) and some brought dates and others cooking butter. (I think he (Anas) mentioned As-Sawaq). So they prepared a dish of Hais (a kind of meal). And that was Walima (the marriage banquet) of Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) ."

This is an intriguing dilemma that many in the church have discussed. What do you think?

Should the religious person be in the world but not of it? and what does that mean?

Should the religious person retreat into his or her or their own little worlds or communes?

Should they send their children to public schools or private schools or homeschool?

To what extend should they engage or choose not to engage?  Is it simply a matter of preference?

Some might suggest that the mission of the church is to convert as many as possible. If this is an admirable goal, how do they do that and retreat from culture?

Should Christians - be separate - from the world and politics and life completely? Or should the engage in the public square?

And if so. - whose rules should they follow? The rules that suggested by the organisation they are trying to engage with or their own set of principles?

What would the Utopian society be in terms of Religious, Political, and Social Ideology?
In this forum, I encourage you to share your vision of a perfect society, where everyone lives in harmony, justice, and happiness.

We will cover the following questions to get started, but please feel free to ask new ones related to the topic:
  • How would you describe your utopian society in terms of religious, political, and social ideology; add a description of how society would be run and structured?
  • How would individuals maintain a part of that society and be involved in its affairs?
  • How would individuals feel unified within that society? What are the benefits and challenges of creating and sustaining such a society?
  • What are the sources of inspiration or influence for your utopian society?
  • Would there be a code of conduct and commonly held values and what would their purpose be?

Please use the following guidelines to productively participate in the forum:
  • Be open-minded and curious. Do not dismiss or ignore answers that challenge your reality or beliefs. Try to embrace them as opportunities to learn and grow. Try to approach them with logical, critical, and professional minds, and seek to understand the evidence and reasoning behind them.
  • Be empathetic and respectful. Do not judge or ridicule other people’s perspectives or experiences. Try to comprehend their viewpoints and appreciate their contributions to the larger and more intricate reality. Try to see how different perspectives can form a more complex and complete picture of the world.
  • Be honest and humble. Do not claim or imply that your knowledge is superior or definitive. Try to acknowledge the limitations and uncertainties of your knowledge, and the sources and influences that shape it. Try to value words for their merits and usefulness, not for the labels or credentials of their source.
  • Be relevant and on-topic. Do not deviate from the main topic of the forum. Do not post irrelevant or off-topic comments and links that aren't productive to the questions being discussed.
  • Be constructive and creative. Do not simply criticize or reject other people’s ideas. Try to offer positive feedback, suggestions, or alternatives.
  • Be clear and concise. Try to use clear and simple language as much as possible. To have effective communication it is necessary to speak understandably.
I hope everyone enjoys this forum.

The question is: Are people equal, or are peoples equal?

I'd like to hear from the following perspectives:
What is the US currently?
What should the US be?
Which is religiously correct?
Which is correct from the perspective of human value?

I'd also appreciate explanations supporting each of your perspectives so that others can clearly understand why.

For a clear explanation of peoples: The word “peoples” is the plural of “people” and is used to refer to groups of people by nation, religion, belief, or an aternative aspect of divide.

I will keep it short and only describe what this forum is intended for. This way I can hear everyone's perspectives before making any statements or presumptions.

This is meant to be from a Materialist view aka non-supernatural perspective, please provide evidence that is evident and not base reasoning on beliefs. Of course, speculation is welcome if addressed as such.

As always, please address your knowledge responsibly by using phrases like "I believe," if you believe; "I saw," if you saw; "I think," if you think; or "This evidence suggests ...," if you have empirical evidence. It is never responsible to claim anything for certain or to be known but rather acknowledge everyone including ourselves, are always learning and discovering new things about the world since much of the world changes continuously.

We will address questions like the following:
What constitutes a better society and civilization?
Would society be better if everyone was religious?
Would society be better if everyone's religion was unified, and is it possible to ethically achieve this?
Would society be better if everyone was Atheist?
What are the pros and cons to society of people being religious vs Atheist?
Will society move past religion towards a more scientific understanding of the world, and would it be better or worse for society?
Could science or another alternative fill the void that was once filled by religion?

Many religious arguments for God are dependent upon circular reasoning and logical fallacies. Instead of attacking these fallacies, I decided to simply demonstrate how ridiculous they are by using them myself. See if you can prove me wrong!

Note: From this point forward, any post which is not in the character of a Terry and His Magic Cactus worshipper will be headed with "Out of character:"

Claim:

Terry and His Magic Cactus both exist, and the Magic Cactus is omniscient, and both it and Terry are infallible.

Argument:

According to Terry:

Behold My Magic Cactus. It knows all and tells only truth.
But how do we know that Terry is telling the truth here? Well, according to the Magic Cactus:

Terry will never lie, as He has My power, which is pure and incapable of deception.

My claim is thus proven!

I want to hear from pro-lifers that are pro-life without religious reasons. I was raised in the conservative Christian US south, I am painfully well-versed in the religious reasons, but I'm curious as to what non-religious pro-lifers belief and why.

I'm primarily framing this discussion within an American context but am open to hear from anyone.

I dedicate this nice story to islam my second favorite religion
and always remember :
allah is gay , muhammad is gay , and islam will always support homosexuality .
all rights are reserved to the author , please enjoy :
===========================================================
The prophet of islam mohammad died in at the end of his life and went to meet the one he waited for the most he waited his entire life to meet this person despire having wives, children, slaves, kingdom and even his friends who are willing to die for him mohammad left them with his most beloved , the one that favored him over all other , the divine being his creator and the creator of the world Allah

and so after his death his last maybe not exactly last , but the last wish in his mortal life was fulfilled

he know can look at his creator god , as the most faithfull one , the greatest believer and the last prophet that was sent to convert humans from the darkness and the abyss of disbelief that was weaven by the devil to lights of faith belief and the love god .

Despite getting poisoned by the Evil jews mohammad's soul was clean Since he is the one who believes in allah the most his soul slipped put of his body like the slipping of water as it fall from the leafs of trees driven by the cool brease of at a summer morning .

As the one that suffered the most for this religion , his divine self decided to grace him and show himself before himself before him , and grant him one single wish , besides allah have already granted him the highest level in heaven where there are things far byoned human imagination

and so a divine being materialized before him with all his majesty and greatness different from anyother that majesty and greatness was unlike that of any king or lord for wards themselves are incapaple of discribing the one true god and the creator of the univerese , only one word could discribe him divine as he slowly opened his eyes before his prophet ,his prophet would have died from witnessing the greatness of the divine one and the heaven would have been destroyed but he with all his majesty spoke and said that they shall bear and bear his greatness they shall

the vessel he materialised could bearly have part of his majesty and greatness something less than 10% but even with this much it was still too much for all the beings and the creations around him

and so he opened his mouth and spoke "oh mohammad you have served thy greatness well, and so thy greatness shall grant thee one thing that thee wish for the most, fear not for our word is the truth and thy have created everything so granting you a wish is nothing to thy, our treasery is never empty and our power is the that of creation"

hearing the voice of his creator mohammad was mesmerised and wished he could hear that voice for eternity for he couldn't bear for that voice to stop and couldn't stop his eyes from looking at the body of materialised by his creator

mohammad thought if this is just a materialised vessel then what would happen if he saw the true body of his creator, his mind was blown and he could bearly think of how he actually looks , it was far byoned anything he could think about .

And so mohammad opened his mouth and asked

"oh allah the divine one , the greatest I want you but not a vessel but the real you "

mohammad smiled happly after saying that , now that he mentioned his wish which he kept deeply within himself , he have waited for so long , he beared a lot of suffering , even his wives he took them just because allah wanted him to teach muslims about which women are they allowed to marry under the orders of allah , if allah didn't forbid him from marrying since that would cause the believers to follow his example and not marry and die single he wouldn't have even married or touched those filthy women for when they are placed next to allah the divine being , the creater and the maker of everything , they are but mere dirt .

Allah spoke divinely "oh mohammad thy have heard your plea , and your plea shall be granted"

and right after the divine one spoke those word mohammad found himself souronded by light from everyside and he was completely naked he could feel the light which filled with divity fill his body and it's suroundings , before he heared a voice that is far more divine than anything else a voice that can take your soul yet it was very manly one could get lost in that voice for thousands if not billions of years

"thy shall enter you now "

and so a part of the light turned into a donger but it was a divine one made of light it was also bigger than that of a donkey and it started moving towards mohammad's mouth unlike before he didn't feel repulsed by the divine donger like he felt towards the people around him and even his own women maybe , but comparing the creation to the creator is not exactly fair , since the creator trumps his creation in eveerything and so mohammad while smiling happily opened his mouth welcoming the divine donger .

The divine donger moved slowly towards mohammad's face even it's tip was big enough to fill his entire mouth it moved slowly filling mohammad's mouth and even blocking him from breathing

mohammad nearly suficated but he heared the divine being talking which made him forget about breathing completely if it wasn't a divine word

"thy shall remind you to breath through your nose".

mohammad was lost in the voice of the divine that if it wasn't the word of the divine he wouldn't have breathed

Mohammad could see the light moving towards his face before retreting time after another

after a very long time that to mohammad felt like a single moment but in reality billions of years have passed the divine donger began twitching and mohammad heard the divine voice telling him

"thy is about to cum"

it's well known that in heaven jannah people need no sustinence like food , drink or going to bath and people wouldn't age , die or suffer

mohammad prepared himself and yet the shear amount that came from the divine donger filled his stomach until it bulged the cum was very thick and divine it came out from his mouth and his nose

mohammad looked like a pergnant woman with his stomach bulging , and yet he was extremely happy since he could feel himself connected to allah despite cumming the divine donger remained standing strong soon he could feel a divine force bending his back moving with it he could feel another divine donger began pressing against his backhole , this divine donger was indeed the same one in his mouth so mohammad spoke

"oh divine one , the greatest and the creator of the world how can you be in two places"

and so the divine one replied

"oh mohammad fear not for thy is everywhere and in everything , and worry not for thy for thy shall sutasfy you well"

mohammad felling the divine donger penterating his ass slowly couldn't help but moan from pleasure , he couldn't be happier since now his connection with his maker is getting stronger

mohammad's dick would stand with pleasure each time the divine donger would enter his backhole before it would move downas the donger get's out heaving mohamad's insides hollow and pulsing with pleasue, suddenly a divine hand of light came from the light amd moved toward's mohammad's dick .

The divine hand would move in rithm along with the divine donger sending waves upon waves of pleasure filling the body of mohammad , as for mohammad his body is just floating limb in the air from the shear amoun of divine pleasure while his multiple holes are being filled with the divine allah's cum soon instead of one in the back and one in the front they became two in the back and two in the front and then 3 and 4 ...

by the time it ended mohammad had been filled with divine cum that's enough to fill the universe and yet mohammad with a meloncolic voice said "it already finished ?"

as if he's unaware that 10 times the time of our universe from it's start to it's end have already passed while he enjoyed connecting with the all knowing all seeing supreme being and creator of the universe .

Mohammad wished he would be connected with his divine being for eternity so that he would enjoy the love

the end

This is one of the most ridiculous stories that can come out of Islam. There is an agreement among Islamic sources that the origin of stoning the devil comes from this story.
Going back to this "test", where Allah pushes a parent to kill their child only to have the Shaytan-satan- try to stop him. When taken in the context that Allah knows the future, know what will happen, and knows everything... sounds like one sick joke, doesn't it. Now, Google how many parents killed their children insisting they heard a voice claiming to be god asking them to follow His command. Only this time, no lamp shows up!!
I just googled this term "hears voices kills their child" and hit hundred of thousands of stories. If you find it sick, wonder how this story sound any different?
If I ever visit Mecca again, I think I will throw stones on the Kaaba instead!! But then Allah is not real, none of these stories are real. Now you know.
@arabic_translatedmemes
did you know where the hajj -islamic pilgrimage- stoning the devil come from ?
the devil was trying to stop ibraham from stoning his very own son and Ibraham throw stones at him
Now let me ask you a question ? who comes more as a devil ?
the person who ask a father to kill his own son , or the one telling him not to kill his own son ?
===========================
Just using one's brain when one is ordered to kill his own son one should begin to question themselves and whither they are following a cult/evil god rather than following a righteous god / religion

Welcome back seekers of divine truth, our journey continues!

This time we have the mysterious Rosends to discuss Judaism and all that it entails with us.

In the words of Orthodox Jew Rosends, God is neither good nor evil:

These are human labels which we use to try and wrap out finite brains around an infinite concept.

why do religions -in general- fears criticism ?
I mean if you know that you're religion is the only one true religion out there would you really fear criticism ?
would you need to be two faced and hide some stuff when you talk about your religion ?
would you need to dirty your hands and kill blasphemers and apostates ?
is it not enough that your god would punish them in the afterlife as your religion claims ?
how pathetic is your god and it's trust in its very own religion to need a death penalty to dissuade  people from leaving that religion or insulting it ?

Nothing can be more disgusting then religion telling people to engage in pedophilia.
one of the things which the hindu religion can't stop supporting even today
"""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""
CHILD-MARRIAGE Enforced by the Brahmins, this custom destroyed the very
life-soul of the non-Brahmins. Child marriage of daughters as young 5-6 y
old was common during the Brahmanic Dark Ages due to the custom of dowry [
Nand 17 ] [ Bash.167-8 ] [ Yad 70 ] [ Alt.16 ] [ Ban.70 ]. Lawbooks
prescribe that the best partner for a man in one-third his age. Thus a man
18 year old should marry a girl 6 years old! This is the wonderful wisdom of
the most authoritative Hindu law-book -
Manu.IX.94 : " A man, aged thirty years, shall marry a maiden of twelve
who pleases him, or a man of twenty-four a girl of eight years of age; if
(the performance of) his duties would otherwise be impeded, he must marry
sooner."
One of the reasons for such early marriage of girls was to prevent any
scandals. Narada states that some of the defects to be avoided in brides are
if they already had a relationship with another man or have their minds set
on another, they should not be selected [Sheth 67]. This shows that
non-virgin girls could not be married, a custom similar to Church-ruled
medieval Europe.
The custom of child-marriage and child-molesting has divine sanction in
Hinduism. The `great god' Rama was 16 years old when he married Sita, and
Sita was only 14 years old [ Ram.wh 69 ]. However, the age of Sita is now
known to be a forgery; it is almost certain that she was, as per the Manuid
laws, one-third of his age, namely 5 years old. It is inconceivable to
imagine that `great' Rama could have dated to violate the Vedic laws of
Manu. Besides being a child-molester, `holy' Rama was also guilty of incest,
for Sita is referred to in the oldest surviving Ramayanas as his own sister
:

" In the Dasarathajataka Sita is represented as the sister as well as the
wife of Rama , son of Dasaratha of the Ikshvaku line."
[ Chandra, p.156 ]
Mr. Chandra, who has given the passage cited above, then claims that this
incriminating passage was `infiltrated' by the Buddhist nastikas. This
objection, however, can be discounted immediately. Firstly, it would not be
possible for Buddhists to `distort' a Hindu scripture. Secondly, Chandra
himself is a Brahminist, so his statements in defence of Brahmanism can be
discounted as being the result of religious fanaticism. The fact is, that
the extant Buddhist tales are much older than the Hindu versions, and this
episode was deleted from the later falsified Ramayanas. This is confirmed by
anthropological research showing that incest was institutionalised in Rama's
race, the Ikshvaku dynasty of Aryan Kshatriyas :
" In the Anabattha Sutta and the Mahavastu Avadana we are told that the
Ikshvaku princes, who were banished by their father and took shelter on the
slopes of the Himalayas, and from whom the Sakyas traced their descent,
married their own sisters in order to maintain the purity of their line."
-- [ Chandra, p.155 ]
Hence, it is virtually certain that Sita was Rama's sister, and that it is
certain that such an `upright astik Hindu' as he would not have let his
sister grow beyond the age limit of 8 years prescribed by Aryan law.

Now, what was the main reason for the Brahmins enforcing child marriage and
incest upon the subject populations ? The answer is that these activities
led to the permanent genetic degradation of the non-Brahmin races. It is
well known that consanginuous marriage leads to genetic mutations in the
offspring and eventually ends in the extermination of the blood lineage
concerned. Incest and child marriage has a high risk of leading to
irreversible hereditary defects in the second generation which are then
passed on to succeeding generataions. These were hence convenient methods
for the Brahmins to annihilate the non-Brahmins and establish a pure
Brahmavarta ! Even to this day one finds the process of genetic
deterioration occurring in non-Brahmin children inhabiting Brahmin-ruled
regions. These are entirely the result of Brahmin-enforced child-marriage
and Brahmin-inflicted incest.

1.10 ENFORCEMENT OF VIRGINITY
As a further instance of the oppressive rules of Hinduism imposed upon
women, young girls were required to remain virgin till marriage. Failing
this requirement, they would be discarded by the husbands at will :

Manu.IX.72 : " Though (a man) may have accepted a damsel in due form, he
may abandon (her if she be) blemished, diseased, or deflowered, and (if she
have been) given with fraud."
Such girls were reduced to a pitiable state and were unable to find husbands
thereafter. They were mostly forced to live the life of early wretched
widowhood. This shows that the systematic discrimination meted out by
Hinduism to women extends down to early childhood. Whilst Brahmin men were
free to indulge in debauchery with aboriginal Devadasis at an early age,
girls had to remain chaste virgins. This is the truth about `wonderful'
Hinduism.
These are merely a handful of facts showing that Hinduism is the single most
anti-woman civilization in the history of the world. The followers of
Hinduism are mindless male supremacist pigs who know nothing better than to
burn their own women and rape their own daughters. This they do in the name
of the `Holy Vedas', the invention of perverted Brahmin bigots. No other
religion imposes such an inhuman genocide of women as does the truly beastly

we as a human beings have a limited life span , since it's pretty obvious we can't do an in depth study of all the religions out there , or in order to do that we will need multiple life times , however we can place multiple parameters to judge religion , and here I would like to mention few :
1.moral parameters :
parameter A
when we are judging the moral values mentioned by that religion and this is just half of that , like we will not accept any religion that's ok with eating living humans , allows the marriage of little children , or discriminate with homosexuals ,
**ignore the part of discriminating with homosexuals since in ancient time s the number of people living on earth was very small and they needed every one to contribute to the community and continuing and helping the survival of the human race along with the abysmal chance of survival of babys
but that is not accepted today .
parameter B
the moral values of the person carrying the message of god ,in other words the chosen person by that god to send his message :
let us say this a child rapist enter your house and tells you I'm chosen by god to deliver his message would you :
a.call the police.
b.call the police
c. call the f***ing police
and don't tell me that back then it was OK since the person chosen by god should know that this is wrong for one of two reasons :
1. he/she take their moral values from their god
2. god is omnipotent being and should have known that in the future people will see this as wrong .
--this is where the prophet of islam fails in his marriage from 6 years old child where he consummated his marriage with her at 9 -Sahih al-Bukhari 5134 ,  Book 67, Hadith 70 ,Vol. 7, Book 62, Hadith 65-
add to that that muhammad had no children with aisha , he had children with other wives but most of them died but only two he didn't have children with
1. was too old to have children
2.was too young (9 years old or less) to have any children
--this is also where many hindu gods fail , the list is too tall to be mentioned at once --
=========================================================================================
now that we cleared the moral parameters we move to the next
the scientific parameters :
religion needs to provide a scientific evidence to be reviewed and checked by both linguistical experts in the language of the original text and scientist to check whether it's true or false take islam for example :
they claim that god mentioned the stages of the creation of the embryo  , sadly though not only it's wrong but allah got the number of months women get pregnant wrong ,I think I mentioned the widening of the universe before , and how they deceive with similar words
===========================================================================================
now that we cleared the previous two we can move to the third one
the logical parameters :
basically no supernatural elements -you might as will discard all religions here-
and I don't mean just supernatural creature like werewolves , vampires , angels , demons ,,,,,oh wait GOD too
I'm talking about stories like that of hercules
-people splitting the moon or the red sea
-walking on water or on air
-reviving the dead:   -why every time they revive the dead , the dead talk about everyday matters ? shouldn't they talk about god , hell , angels , demons , heaven and start praying sincerely and praising god-
,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,
I mean we live in this world and we have analyze it with science and such feats can't be achieved now let alone back then
at the very least a very strong evidence supporting such acts of the supernatural
unlike the prophet of islam muhammad who split the moon and yet no one saw it other than the arabs living around mecca , who also happen to be all muslim believers ,every single one narrating this story was a muslim
chinese people who worship the moon/(believed immortals lived there) didn't see it , the maya and inka didn't see it (they sacrifice people everyday so the sun would come up the next day), Achaemenid Empire didn't see it , the roman empire didn't see it , people living in africa didn't see it ,
no one on earth other than
only muhammad , his follower and the believers of islam saw it .
-------------------------------------
also muhammad went to outer space and beyond on the back of al-buraq -a mythical creature that looks like a donkey but with wings/flying donkey-
forgot to mention outer space doesn't have oxygen/air to breath
pretty hard to miss since humans need to breath in order to stay alive and suffering from asphyxiation can be both memorable and painful
or that the earth is a sphere
please provide a similar case to a religion of your own choosing

13 December, 2009
Mohamed Abukar Ibrahim, 48, is stoned to death by members of Hizbul Islam, a group of Somali Islamist insurgents in Afgooye, 30 km from the capital Mogadishu, on 13 December. Ibrahim had been found guilty of adultery by a local Sharia court. In February, the president of a transitional government had agreed to the introduction of Sharia law in Somalia, in order to defuse clashes between the government and local clan-based militia.

the prophet of islam muhammad married Khadijah a 40 years old very rich woman when he was 25 , she was 15 years older than him

Muslim woman, 26, is sentenced to death by hanging for blasphemy in Pakistan after sending caricatures of Prophet Mohammed over WhatsApp
  • A Muslim woman, 26, has been sentenced to death in Pakistan for blasphemy
  • She was convicted of sending caricatures of Prophet Muhammad via WhatsApp
  • Blasphemy is punishable by the death sentence in Muslim-majority Pakistan
  • But an execution has never been carried out as courts have overruled sentence
Not the first person that gets the death penalty for insulting the prophet of islam the worst person to ever walk the earth

The trial court in the northern Pakistani city of Rawalpindi on Wednesday sentenced Aneeqa Ateeq under the country’s strict blasphemy laws, which impose a mandatory death penalty for insulting the Prophet Muhammad.
===============================================================================
A blind man had a slave-mother who used to abuse the Prophet (ﷺ) and disparage him. He forbade her but she did not stop. He rebuked her but she did not give up her habit. One night she began to slander the Prophet (ﷺ) and abuse him. So he took a dagger, placed it on her belly, pressed it, and killed her. A child who came between her legs was smeared with the blood that was there. When the morning came, the Prophet (ﷺ) was informed about it.
He assembled the people and said: I adjure by Allah the man who has done this action and I adjure him by my right to him that he should stand up. Jumping over the necks of the people and trembling the man stood up.
He sat before the Prophet (ﷺ) and said: Messenger of Allah! I am her master; she used to abuse you and disparage you. I forbade her, but she did not stop, and I rebuked her, but she did not abandon her habit. I have two sons like pearls from her, and she was my companion. Last night she began to abuse and disparage you. So I took a dagger, put it on her belly and pressed it till I killed her.
Thereupon the Prophet (ﷺ) said: Oh be witness, no retaliation is payable for her blood.

Not the first time someone is killed for insulting muhammad
===================================
islam have been killing people for insulting the benevolent or should I say malevolent prophet of islam since the beginning of islam
in the hadith mentioned before muhammad stated that " no retaliation is payable for her blood " sounds extremely benevolent

Hijjab in islam is mandatory on every adult Muslim woman  , many muslims and muslim activists claim that islam is being attacked whenever hijjab is banned ,
and I have the solution for that , its actually just copying IRAN which is basically whenever a muslim woman leave her house without hijjab give her a fine
that way you'll get multiple benefits which include:
1.increase the revenue of the country
2.muslim women themselves will get out of there homes and ask that hijjab get banned
this will get muslim women to fight against hijjab , and will prove that many muslim women don't want to wear hijjab in the west
"
Is it mandatory to wear hijab in Islam?

Modern Muslim scholars believe that it is obligatory in Islamic law that women abide by the rules of hijab (as outlined in their respective school of thought).

the people living in mecca the quraysh tribe were very open to religious freedom and around mecca before islam came lay many Idols uniting all the arabs as each tribe worshiped multiple idols depending on time , the existence of both christians like waraqa bin naufal and jews like :
the freedom of religion in pre-islamic times in the Arabian Peninsula along with the diversity of the gods worshipped shows a great example of freedom of religion , as long as no one insult the gods of the other that's until muhammad came with his new religion and insulted his tribes god and tried to destroy their idols,

muhammad was caught before he could do anything , being of high born in his tribe he managed to leave with slab on the rest however his followers suffering have just began since the holy book of islam which they need to recite contains insults towards the idols of the tribe claimed that those idols couldn't defend themselves therefore they are not gods  .
----------------------
now let us analyze this, imagine a person walk into a church 1500 years ago in the middle of the sermon breaks the cross and claim that jesus isn't god otherwise the cross would have defended itself , what would happen to that person ?
--------------------
let me give you another example , imagine that I rode a bulldozer and used it to demolish a mosque, burned all the qurans in there and then I claimed that allah doesn't exist otherwise the mosque would have defended itself  , how would muslims feel especially in a muslim majority country .
-------------------------
after Conquest of Mecca by islam muhammad prohibited all the arabic tribes from worshiping their idols
muhammad also destroyed all the idols ,
--------------------
before islam the Arabian Peninsula had many cultures , many religions
after islam it had only one religion and one culture islam ,
---------------
this tradition of destroying the land marks of other cultures like what isis did in iraq came from muhammad destroying the idols back in mecca and then in the entire  Arabian Peninsula , you might not now this but one of islamic caliphate's son tried to destroy egypt pyramids sadly or luckly he failed after only managing to leave a massive gash at one of them
==================================
In AD 1196, Al-Aziz UthmanSaladin's son and the Sultan of Egypt, attempted to demolish the pyramids, starting with that of Menkaure. Workmen recruited to demolish the pyramid stayed at their job for eight months, but found it almost as expensive to destroy as to build. They could only remove one or two stones each day. Some used wedges and levers to move the stones, while others used ropes to pull them down. When a stone fell, it would bury itself in the sand, requiring extraordinary efforts to free it. Wedges were used to split the stones into several pieces, and a cart was used to carry it to the foot of the escarpment, where it was left. Despite their efforts, workmen were only able to damage the pyramid to the extent of leaving a large vertical gash at its northern face.

the holy quran 18-74 & 18-80 it tells the story about a murder of child , and why was that child murdered ???
the murder
verse 18-74 :
So, they moved ahead until when they met a boy, he killed him (the boy). He (Mūsā) said, “Did you kill an innocent soul while he did not kill anyone? You have committed a heinous act indeed.”
— Mufti Taqi Usmani

So they (both) went off until, when they (both) met a youth, then he killed him. He said, "Have you killed a most cleansed self without (his having killed another) self? Indeed you have already come with a (highly) maleficent thing."
— Dr. Ghali

And so they travelled on. Then, when they met a young boy and the man killed him, Moses said, ‘How could you kill an innocent person? He has not killed anyone! What a terrible thing to do!’
— Abdul Haleem

So they twain journeyed on till, when they met a lad, he slew him. (Moses) said: What! Hast thou slain an innocent soul who hath slain no man? Verily thou hast done a horrid thing.
— Pickthall

— Alauddin Mansour

Puis ils partirent tous deux; et quand ils eurent rencontré un enfant, [l’homme] le tua. Alors [Moïse] lui dit : "As-tu tué un être innocent, qui n’a tué personne ? Tu as commis certes, une chose affreuse !"
— French Translation(Muhammad Hamidullah)

So they set out, until when they met a boy, he [i.e., al-Khiḍr] killed him. [Moses] said, "Have you killed a pure soul for other than [having killed] a soul? You have certainly done a deplorable thing."
— Saheeh International

Then the two went forth until they met a lad whom he slew, whereupon Moses exclaimed: "What! Have you slain an innocent person without his having slain anyone? Surely you have done a horrible thing."
— Tafheem-ul-Quran - Abul Ala Maududi
the justification :
verse 18:80

As for the boy, his parents were believers. We apprehended that he would impose rebellion and infidelity upon them.
— Mufti Taqi Usmani

And as for the youth, then his parents (Literally: his two fathers) were believers; so we were apprehensive he would oppress them with (his) in ordinance and disbelief.
— Dr. Ghali

The young boy had parents who were people of faith, and so, fearing he would trouble them through wickedness and disbelief,
— Abdul Haleem

And as for the lad, his parents were believers and we feared lest he should oppress them by rebellion and disbelief.
— Pickthall

Ҳалиги боланинг эса ота-оналари мўмин кишилар эдилар. Бас, биз у (бола) туғён ва куфр билан уларни қийнаб қўйишидан қўрқдик.
— Alauddin Mansour

Quant au garçon, ses père et mère étaient des croyants; nous avons craint qu’il ne leur imposât la rébellion et la mécréance.
— French Translation(Muhammad Hamidullah)

And as for the boy, his parents were believers, and we feared that he would overburden them by transgression and disbelief.
— Saheeh International

As for the lad, his parents were people of faith, and we feared lest he should plague them with transgression and disbelief,
— Tafheem-ul-Quran - Abul Ala Maududi
.............
because he was going to make his parents become disbelievers in the future according to a man's imaginary friend (ALLAH)
............
while people studying ethics and morals are still debating whether it's ok to kill adolf hitler if he was a child, islam is ok with killing a child for a crime he has not yet committed
,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,
and what is that crime exactly ??? making his parents disbelievers in the future . wow what great crime
--------------------------------------------
AN OMNIPOTENT GOD ordered the death penalty of a child
couldn't allah order his follower to help that child until his future change or couldn't ALLAH change the FATE OF ONE CHILD!!!
-------------------------------------------
why would you worship a god who couldn't change the fate of one child and had to order his follower to kill a child out of fear that this child would mislead his parents when he grow up
------------------------------------------------
where is the freedom of religion exactly I wonder
-----------------------------------------------
my questions are :
if allah couldn't save one child how is he going to save anything or anyone ?
the verse mentioned we as in al khader and his god -allah-

1. muhammad was a child rapist :
-
that the Prophet (ﷺ) married her when she was six years old and he consummated his marriage when she was nine years old. Hisham said: I have been informed that `Aisha remained with the Prophet (ﷺ) for nine years (i.e. till his death).

2. he lusted after his adopted son's wife -zinab bit jahsh- , Qur'an 33:37
his adopted son mindset was " I'm so lucky to have the greatest man alive wanting my wife , I'll just divorce her , IF only I was a woman to marry the prophet "
just to show you how much brain damage one need to have to join such a cult.
================================================================================
3. he was a male gold digger -used the money from his first wife after her death to marry 12 more and built his own theocracy -(she was his sugar mummy)  NOTHING can say I love you more than using all your money to marry 12 more woman after you especially that muhammad didn't dare to marry any other wife back when she was alive.
===================================================================
4. he was incestuous - his adopted son's wife was also his own cousin "zinab bit jahsh "-
===============================================================================
5.he took over 100000 slaves and distribute them among his followers and the believers in his religion over multiple wars and battles with the disbelievers of the tribes around him , muhammad cared about ending the slavery of muslims as for non-muslims their slavery is totally fine in islam.
muhammad did free many slaves but all of them happen to be muslims
=============================================================
6. encouraged child marriage :
Narrated Jabir bin `Abdullah:
While we were returning from a Ghazwa (Holy Battle) with the Prophet, I started driving my camel fast, as it was a lazy camel A rider came behind me and pricked my camel with a spear he had with him, and then my camel started running as fast as the best camel you may see. Behold! The rider was the Prophet (ﷺ) himself. He said, 'What makes you in such a hurry?" I replied, I am newly married " He said, "Did you marry a virgin or a matron? I replied, "A matron." He said, "Why didn't you marry a young girl so that you may play with her and she with you?" When we were about to enter (Medina), the Prophet (ﷺ) said, "Wait so that you may enter (Medina) at night so that the lady of unkempt hair may comb her hair and the one whose husband has been absent may shave her pubic region.

7.anyone that insult islam/ muhammad must die :
A blind man had a slave-mother who used to abuse -insult- the Prophet (ﷺ) and disparage -insult- him. He forbade her but she did not stop. He rebuked her but she did not give up her habit. One night she began to slander -insult-  the Prophet (ﷺ) and abuse -insult- him.
I am her master; she used to abuse you and disparage -insult-  you. I forbade her, but she did not stop, and I rebuked her, but she did not abandon her habit. I have two sons like pearls from her, and she was my companion. Last night she began to abuse and disparage you. So I took a dagger, put it on her belly and pressed it till I killed her.
Thereupon the Prophet (ﷺ) said: Oh be witness, no retaliation is payable for her blood-she deserved it-.

If you looked at the stories mentioned in the holy quran you'll find that most of them if not all of them came from both the bible and the talmud with few edits here and there to make them seem different .
The cause of that is muhammad went every year with merchant caravan together with Waraqah Ibn Nawfal which is the maternal uncle of Muhammad via Khadijah, Muhammad's first wife. His presence in the story of Muhammad is so problematic. Most people who believe in Islam never heard about him. Those few who did, are just given a "quick" passing by mentioning in their Islamic classes. Yet, even by Islamic standards, he was a very important figure. Some see him as the first person to believe in Muhammad even before the first message had arrived.
Who is this man? Waraqah was a priest in Christianity and Judaism. He is Nestorian priest. Waraqah lived a long life and died of old age shortly after Muhammad got his first message also muhammad went with him as he would go with merchant caravan.
His story throws big concerns to the claim that Muhammad's message came from Allah or via his angel Gabriel - especially when Islam ended up near carbon copy of Nestorian faith (a mixture of Christianity and Judaism). It shows Muhammad had access to the knowledge. On top of that it shows even more that the Kuffar of Mecca tolerated all faiths, including having a priest among their ranks (Waraqah would have been a Quraishi). It proves what Islamic text sort of admit, that the Kabaa was open liberal place for all people to practice whatever faith they have in peace by the fact many gods were allowed on display. It proves that the Kuffar never harmed those who did not follow their gods. Khadijah, a very successful business women in her own right, was a monotheist and most probably Christian Nestorian like her uncle - some Islamic scholars may disagree this shows the feminist view of those Kuffar and place any nonsense about how women were treated back then into the trash -like islamic claims of women being oppressed back then- .
When did the people of Mecca have issues with Muhammad? When Muhammad started to insult their gods, when they would wake up in the morning and find the statues of the gods dessicated and damaged, when Muhammad mock them that their gods are useless! Talk about tolerance??
But for me, this hadith throws the doors wide open on the story of Waraqah. The hadith suggest that shortly after Muhammad started getting the revelations "....But a short while later Waraqa died and the Divine Inspiration was paused (stopped) for a while so that Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) was very much grieved." Sahih al-Bukhari 4953
This proves Muhammad knew the man very well, and likely behind his inspiration!
islam plagiarized stories from Christianity and Judaism
here is few that are mentioned in both the quran and the talmud/torah :
  • Gideon/Saul (Tālūt)
  • Saul, David and Goliath (Tālūt, Dāwūd and Jalut)
  • The Queen of Sheba
  • Jonah (Yūnus) and the big fish
  • Haman
here is few stories that are mentioned in both the bible and the quran :
  • Zechariah (Zakariya) and John (Yahya)
  • Mary (Maryam)
  • Jesus (ʿIsa, Yeshuaʿ)
  • Moses (Mosa)
  • Abraham (ibraham)
  • Lot (Lut)
  • AntiChrist
  • Adam and Eve
  • Noah the ark and the flood

if you ask me ,who the devil opposing god is , I would answer organized religion ,
they make assumptions about god , they talk about the creation of the world , they claim to know the answer to everything , their holy books are tiny and very small .

a doctor would need to study hundreds of books and can barely scratch the tip of the knowledge they need to know about the human body and how to cure it
an  astrophysicist would  spend a lifetime studying the universe and they wouldn't know 1 of 1000000000 about it
and yet their holy books claim to know everything ? with what vague verses that can be interpreted to support anything ?

imagine a scientist discovering something new and then they decide to write about it like god and write about it vaguely , their research will be thrown away , no one will accept it  , everyone will think that they are fraud , it quite funny how our thoughts change when the target change from a person to a god ?

what better way to worship god then :
1. studying the world since it's literary god's creation
2.striving to be a good person (kindness)
you can have both without joining a religion

as a matter of facts religions are just factions used to make people look down on each other and feel self-righteous for doing something bad
let me give you an example :
-oh yea we killed those people , it's totally ok since they are ,,,,,,, apostates /blasphemers/heretics/infidels
-look at those people I can't believe that they are worshiping ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, are they idiots , if they had brains they wouldn't have worshiped ,,,,,,,,,,,
you can fill it with whatever god you don't believe in  ,
it's funny how each religion can see what wrong with the other religions but can't see what's wrong with their own religion
=============================================================================================================================
if their religion can't handle criticism they are not ready to face the world ,
I'd really hate to be shackled by islamophobia or Christianophobia or IDK maybe anti Semitism/anti Hinduism for attacking religion
===================================================================================================
let me finish this with this last question for you to wonder about ,
I have yet to learn how does doing weird rituals benefits god ?
some copy the benefits of meditation and claim praying to god help since it's a form of meditation but then just meditate no need to involve god

Let us begin with one of my favorite  :
1."The quran provides that the length of a normal gestation (pregnancy) is six months (Luqman 31:14; al-Baqarah 2:233; al-Ahqaf 46:15). Luqman 31:14 and al-Baqarah 2:233 provide a nursing period of 24 months. Al-Ahqaf 46:15 provides a total of 30 months for both gestation and nursing combined. This leaves only six months for the period of gestation. We know that this is not true. Normal gestation lasts nine months.

2.the great whale carrying the earth on it's back , also the earth is flat
quran 68:1
and here I would like to reference islam wiki
while many islamic scholars deny this the 8 big books that explain the quran -the books of tafseer- mention it , which muslims return to to understand the quran like:
-------------------------------------------------------------
Tafsir At-Tabari
At-Tabari mentions several interpretations. One of them is this:
هو الحوت الذي عليه الأرَضُون

It is a whale (الحوت), which on it the Earths.

At-Tabari tafsir on 68:1
In Islamic cosmology there are seven flat Earths, just like there are seven heavens:
Allah is He Who created seven heavens, and of the earth the like of them
They are placed on the whale like flapjacks on a plate, stacked one atop the other.
Tafsir Al-Qurtubi
Al-Qurtubi mentions several interpretations. One of them is that the Nun is the whale which is under the 7th (lowest) Earth:
نۤ> الحوت الذي تحت الأرض السابعة>

<Nun> - the whale (الحوت), which is under the Earth the seventh.

Tafsir Al-Qurtubi on 68:1 [9]
From his use of the word "tahat" or "under" it can be surmised that in Al-Qurtubi's cosmology the earth is seen as flat.
ِTafsir Al-Kabir (by Ar-Razi)
بالحوت الذي على ظهره الأرض وهو في بحر تحت الأرض السفلى

..with the whale (بالحوت) which over its back is the Earth and it is in the sea under the Earth (الأرض) the lowest.

Tafsir Al-Kabir on 68:1[10]
Al-Kabir here repeates the idea that there are multiple flat earths balanced on the back of the whale.
ِTafsir Fath Al-Qadir (by Shawkani)
This tafsir is from the 18th century and it mentions several interpretations. One of them is the idea that the world is carried on the back of a whale:
هو الحوت الذي يحمل الأرض
It is a whale which carries the Earth.

Fath Al-Qadir on 68:1[11]
Hadith Al-Kafi (shia)
Hadith Al-Kafi, one of the most prestigious Shi'ite hadith, also confirms that a whale carries the earth upon its back:
H 14813 – From him, from Salih, from one of his companions, from Abdul Samad Bin Basheer, who has reported the following: Abu Abdullah (asws) has said that: The whale which is carrying the earth secretly said to itself that it is carrying the earth by its own strength. So Allah (azwj) the High Sent to it a fish smaller than a palm’s length, and larger than a finger. So it entered in its gills and shocked it. It remained like that for forty days. Then Allah (azwj) Raised it and was Merciful to it, and Took it out. So whenever Allah (azwj) Intends the earth to be in a quake, He (azwj) Sends that (small) fish to that (big) fish. So when it sees it, it becomes restless, so the earth gets engulfed by the earthquake’.
Al-Kafi, vol. 8, part 6, [12]
Tafsir Al-Tusi (shia)
The first comprehensive Shia tafsir[13] says this about the Nun:
وقال ابن عباس - فى رواية عنه - إن النون الحوت الذى عليه الارضون
And said Ibn Abbas (ابن عباس) - in his narration - that Nun (النون) is a whale (الحوت) which on it are the Earths (الارضون).
Al-Tibbyan by Al-Tusi on 68:1 [14]
There is thus attestation of Nun the whale in both the Sunni and Shi'ite tradition.
=======================================================================================================
the rising and setting place of the sun
quran 18:86
the sun sets in muddy water spring
hadith :
a).Abu Dharr said: I was sitting behind the Apostle of Allah who was riding a donkey while the sun was setting. He asked: Do you know where this sets? I replied: Allah and his Apostle know best. He said: It sets in a spring of warm water. - Sunan Abu Dawud 3991
--------------------------------_______________________________-----------------------------------------------___________________________________
b).The Prophet (ﷺ) asked me at sunset, "Do you know where the sun goes (at the time of sunset)?" I replied, "Allah and His Apostle know better." He said, "It goes (i.e. travels) till it prostrates Itself underneath the Throne and takes the permission to rise again, and it is permitted and then (a time will come when) it will be about to prostrate itself but its prostration will not be accepted, and it will ask permission to go on its course but it will not be permitted, but it will be ordered to return whence it has come and so it will rise in the west. And that is the interpretation of the Statement of Allah: "And the sun Runs its fixed course For a term (decreed). that is The Decree of (Allah) The Exalted in Might, The All- Knowing." (36.38) sahih bukhari
Quran 18:90:
Until, when he came to the rising-place of the sun, he found it rising on a people for whom We had not made against it any shield.

why do islam fears satire
I mean it's a very good-if not the greatest- way to advertise your own religion .
I get that making fun of a religion is an act of sacrilege and blasphemy, but we are in 2021
muslims consider any drawing of the prophet or allah to be an act of sacrilege and blasphemy ,
islam consider all drawings of any living being to be forbidden but you'll not be killed for it
whoever you'll be killed if you draw the prophet or allah

God is not good nor is it bad, God wouldn't interfere in the world -under the assumption that god do exist-
god is just a judge,
if you're good, Then you go to heaven, Reincarnate in good environment, , , , , , , , Etc
if you're bad you go to hell, Reincarnate badly
as an agnostic, I don't believe in organized religion, But if god do existed, It wouldn't interfere with reality, And all the religions where god interfere with reality are obviously wrong, At the very least in this life, So if you expect god to pull off some miracle and reverse gravity just because you prayed and asked him to, Then I'm sorry to disappoint you but, But we live in reality and not in some fantasy world, And god is just an observer at the very least in this life, At the very least god wouldn't interfere with reality in this life, If praying could solve problems then why do we need the police, The army, Doctors, Prisons, , , , , Etc.
God wouldn't interfere with reality because if he does it will restrain the freedom of choice of people in this life, Rendering his right of judging them in the afterlife invalid, This is evil but it's people's/humans's evil not god's evil
===========================================================
why should god help you ?
are you narcissistic that you believe that god should leave all the children and the people suffering from malnutrition and lack of food and life necessity and interfere with reality just to help you , because you have faith, then you should see a psychotherapist to solve your narcissism
would the death of the ants living under our bed by other ants matter to you ? what if those ants are worshiping you as a god ? would you really care ?
the answer is no
==========================================================
if god interfered with reality in this life god would lose his right to judge in the afterlife, since the punishment/reward have already been delivered
==========================================================
organized religion
God doesn't have an organized religion, organized religion is usually due to one's parents and his geographic location
" how many religions do you really know ? only one and yet you're so sure that it's the right one ? why ? , because your parents and society told you so ? you're not the only one "
people from other religions in areas where those religions are dominant have been told the same ,
god wouldn't judge people based on the geographic location of their birth or whom they were birthed to .
since that would be unfair
============================================================
god created nature placed the laws that govern it and then lift it alone .
god doesn't control nature , natural disasters ,  cause diseases , disabilities ,,,,,,etc
while god did place the laws govern them he just lift after that and doesn't interfere with it
but nature shows us how god is not evil nor good but neutral just by being the same
============================================================
god judge people based on actions/circumstances
this is why god wouldn't interfere with reality in this life
if god interfered with reality in this life god would lose his right to judge in the afterlife, since the punishment/reward have already been delivered

if your religion tell stories about magic , or magical creatures , or about people with super powers then you've been lied to
this include : reviving the dead , stones walking , people flying . animals talking , walking on water , walking in the air , angels , devils , dragons , fairies, going to outer space on flying donkeys ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,etc
spoiler alert : our world is science based NOT magic . fantasy , or supernatural based world in case you didn't know
..............................
note that god will not reverse the direction of gravity no matter how hard you pray or how strong your faith is , this applies to all the humans on the world .
under the same logic if you're expecting god to interfere with the world just to solve your problem then you're in for a big disappointment .
god is just a judge who would judge people if they are good the meet a good end , reincarnate , go to heaven,,,,,,,,no one know but he will treat them good
bad people would meet bad in the afterlife or in their next life or whatever
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
why is it that people are willing to believe magical stories that they would have dismissed as nonsense once they are mentioned under religion ,
many of the stories mentioned under religion are just crazy and if you remove the religious background of the story it would be placed under fiction and if someone came and told the story - without the religion- , you would probably tell them that they are lying , because such thing can't happen at the world
or at the very least not on our world .
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
when I hold the bible or the quran and read them , I feel like I'm living in a magical world like I've entered the world of harry potter.
but when I look at reality I remember that I'm living in a science based world , and magic just doesn't exist ,
many of the stories mentioned in religion wouldn't be believed by anyone if you remove the religious background of it and if someone came to you and told it to you and said something like this really happened in the world , you would be like WTF man at least try to keep the lie within the believable limits so ,since when did our world have such fantasy based elements ?
is our world based on magic like how those holy books portray  it ?
splitting the red sea with a cane ?
talking with animals ?
going to outer-space (and beyoned) on the back of living being ? (how did they breath out there)
flying on swords ?
splitting the moon ? (no one saw it , very irresponsible move that would have left our planet moonless and effected the tides)
walking on water ?
reviving the dead (why the F*** are they talking about mundane daily life stuff/ shouldn't they be like " you should believe in god , hell is real , heaven is real , and spend every second worshiping since they found the truth ?)?
so much more illogical stories that have been achieved by the people who lived thousands of years ago
=======================================================================================
now think about those stories , someone came to you and told you did you know our neighbor split the red sea with a cane would you take him seriously   ?
or he went to outer space on the back of a donkey would you believe that
or split the moon
or revived the dead from their graves
==========================================================================================
why is we accept those stories when they come from religion but without religion they become just nonsense
is our world magic based ?,
does our world have such a thing ?,
is our world not science based ,
why don't you people replicate any of those acts ? , feel free to use your faith in any way you like to achieve that .
.............
religion is evil because it's either deceiving people or being (allowing) deceived by people .
.........

if logic Doesn't apply to god how do we decide which god should we follow ?
after all god/s(it) is beyond our limited human logic ,
if we argue about the supernatural nonsense written in any holy book or religion they will tell you god created the world so he can do it ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,
and if you argue about their god/s actions they will tell you that you can't understand the logic of a supreme omnipotent being with your limited logic
==========================================================================================================================
when arguing with a religious person , whenever you try to apply logic to their god you'll hear the saying "our human logic doesn't apply to god/gods" ,or "god/gods is omnipotent and logic doesn't apply to it "
so here is a questions
1.how are we humans supposed to discuss god if logic doesn't apply to it
2.if god is omnipotent then every single god/gods from each religion has the chance of being the true god since god is omnipotent + logic doesn't apply to it + god can do whatever it wants
by saying logic doesn't apply to god and god is omnipotent being you're not asserting the existence of your god , you're saying that each and every god out there have a chance of being the true one , since we can't judge god to begin with and they all could be wrong too

1.muslims claim that there's only one god and god wouldn't take a wife or a child, why ? because if there's 2 gods and they had different opinions they will have a fight , your judging god according to human logic you're telling god what he can and can't do .
2.hindu claim that god took a wife and had children to teach us the importance of building a family as it's the corner stone of society , but that's also according to our human logic if you ask them how do they decide things if two gods have 2 different opinions , they will tell you that's the matter of the gods and our logic doesn't apply to them .
3.christains claim there's one god with different vessels , I argued with a christian and he said ,:"it's something like an pc rpg , you can play a worrior ,a mage,or an assassin , you are the player controlling them , each one is different but you are one , god is one but he is represented by multiple being , vessel "
but that is also according to our human logic.
religious people telling god what he should and shouldn't do
also judging god according to our limited human logic
but when it's our turn to apply logic to their god/s we are doing something wrong after all logic doesn't apply to god
=========================================================================================================================
this may look confusing but basically religious people apply logic to god/s when it's convenient for them. when it's not, logic doesn't apply to their god/s
