The Golden Rule was well established before Christ and Christians rarely practice it. 

Schools should teach people have rights and those rights are not to be violated. Schools should not attempt to pick and choose which groups are worthy of value and which are not in a free society. 

A hot dog is a piece of meat. Whether on bread or not.  You can cut up a hot dog and put it on two pieces of bread making it a sandwich. In a hot dog bun I would agree it's not. I have never once heard anyone before now even refer to a hot dog as a sandwich. It's a stand alone kinda item.

Steven has mentioned in post that he believes gods once existed but they somehow left planet Earth and went somewhere else. He says they're not ancient aliens but it sounds like ancient aliens. So he believed the gods were once here on Earth but aren't here now so I think he considers himself technically a theist / atheist because he doesn't think they're here now.

DNA pretty much says that's not the case. I do not have a single drop of Jewish DNA in me. Adam and Eve, are not my ancestors.

Yeah we are a big family. Was just thinking about it when I posted.

I went to visit my cousin yesterday. We're born two days apart so we're both 50. She's always been an athlete healthy watched her weight and I went to see her yesterday because she's riddled with cancer probably only has a few weeks left. And I am a fat, poor eating habit, smoked for years person that's completely healthy. Sugar cholesterol blood pressure everything's always good. I just don't get it sometimes I'd even go so far to say that my cousin is far more popular person than I am, lots of friends touched a lot of lives,  a school teacher. I don't understand how the dice gets rolled sometimes not saying that I want to trade places I just don't understand that randomness sometimes. It f**** with me. I suppose it's mostly genetics.

It's very frustrating when people assume that the polytheistic gods are simply nothing more than natural element that they represent or control. There's way more to Thor as a god than just the fact that he "makes lightning bolts". There are whole rolls, concepts and animistic associations. It's much much deeper than Thor makes thunderbolts up in the sky so he's the thunder God.

I think they should be removed because they fought to destroy the United States.

Either gods exist or they don't. Can't Nerf them you can choose not to worship them that's about it.

My online experience with atheists has left me with an approach that's basically don't get too close or attached they will not ever respect you. And most that you meet in real life will never tell you to your face what the ones online say so you just can't trust them to be honest.

Well religion often seeps its way into politics so there's that. Most people were raised in homes with some type of religion which they either are happy for a resent so there's that. And some people think they're religion or lack thereof makes them better than other people that seems to be the biggest reason.

How come there is never topics about ritualistic or tantric sex it's always about purity why don't we talk about that fun religious sex.

Saying a pledge more than once makes it irrelevant anyway. Basically telling kids to say the pledge every day says their word can't be taken as their word they have to renew their pledge absolutely hate it.

There's no hell in the Old Testament. Therefore some devil that rules hell is non-existent. It's either based on complete fiction like Dante or it's based on some horned pagan God. If the latter is true then yes they do have friends.

I am not going to sit here and pick little freaking pieces of meat off of bone for you. I was very clear in my post I used a couple of examples to use for broad range. I mentioned politics I'm not going to mention every single type of politics or government specifically to make you happy. If you're unsure where I stand that is on you I have been clear.

One has nothing to do with the other. No one is asking dying kids to do math either.  Kids get math and science at school. If you don't want parents influencing kids put them in homes  and let the state raise them. 

Actually Zeus is one of many gods because his parents had more than one child. Zeus is not the creation god of Greek mythology, thank you. And I'm not sure creating other beings means that you're more than one God because Angels aren't gods neither are say Minotaurs or Valkyries it's completely different.

The other abominations listed with homosexuality in the Old Testament are tattoos, eating shellfish and wearing mixed fabrics. I'm not sure I accept that as a polytheist. Hercules was not a God he was a demigod and was very limited in what he couldn't could not do so, Christ being the son of God doesn't necessarily make him Divine in my book but again whatever people want to call themselves I'm okay with that.

It might be a technicality but personally no if you don't believe Jesus is God I don't consider you a Christian.  I mean Thomas Jefferson obviously felt Jesus Christ was a very good example to live his life by but I wouldn't consider him a Christian and I think calling him one might have insulted him. People can feel free to label themselves however they want to and I'll call them that but I do think there should be some standard to what's Christian and what isn't.
