@Castin
Let the teachers if they want to carry. You have to get a carry permit in most places anyway.

We are working on getting out of town to raise our own meat. We recently started keeping chickens and the first one we butchered we noticed a huge difference. I don't have an issue with killing for meat but inhumane treatment. Local farmers would be my choice over in-vitro meat.

Obviously they have had issue with the religion board for a while. Seems it's being so active was an issue. Any other problems are mod related and need to be addressed to Airmax.

I think we should initially avoid giving DDO mods nodding positions for DA. It's been too long since we've seen them just using the site.
I agree.

Airmax could have gotten the current site he is mod on under control and didn't. Don't blame the religion forum or it's members for that.

Really? Never saw any modding on his part.

Depends on what the opposites are. I wouldn't date a racist, I also wouldn't date an atheist. If they love tomatoes I could over look it.

Mine never has. I have to get shots if the stuff gets on my face. There are things you can use to pretreat your skin and keep from getting it. In the long run it's just one of those things you live with if you are allergic to the oil.

Shameless. Lucifer. HBO has The Deuce, West World, Game of Thrones and Hulu has Castle Rock. If you are an 80's kid Cobra Kai is great.

Currently, West World. Never get to watch any other show again, Seinfeld.

You can use what you like but I prefer the little red ones. They get less mushy.

I believe the gods are beings who have evolved on their own worlds.

Not a sauerkraut fan but man that sounds good. Never had collard greens, I like most greens. I don't like spinach but I like kale and I have eaten dandelions before. We do green beans with onion and potato in the crock pot. Yummy.

Yeap and when you strain it leave the onion with the kale.

I think we do technically in that our soul exist forever but to live as a human on Earth, no. My grandmother made it to 92. She said it was hard to keep burying friends and family.

We boil ours with some salt and onions. Saute the onions in the pan. Once tender add the water and salt. Once it's boiling add the kale for 20 minutes for so or until tender. Drain. I don't like spinach but love the kale.

No one has to do anything. Spiritual experiences belong to individuals. But if you convey it to someone who has had similar experiences it takes on a context. And if people who have had similar experiences decide to meet to discuss them forming consistency . Those experiences can then become shared via ritual and other means. That is how religions come into existence.

Technically it exist here. Just as fictional satire.

Consistent, individual experiences that are common among those in and out of the main religious body. Experiences and common stories independent of those who have read the faith's sacred text. Most outside a cult will identify with a cult. Those outside a religion my have experiences like those in a religion. Those with no cultural influence should be able to experience the gods outside their own culture, location and scope of reference.

Well someone going, hey I made this up helps. Like Hubbard or Henderson. A good example of a what I would call a legit religion that isn't ancient is Crowley/Thelema.

@secularmerlin
Nope. Deities exist they are not made up by people who simply want to make fun of theism.

It was hard at first because it seem awkward to talk to the dead as it's not kosher in the US per Christianity there. The people I have known and love are all Christian so my grandmothers and grandfathers don't come around when I work at my altar for my dead or make offerings. The ones that do come around from way back. It's been interesting.

I would say the fact that every culture as some kind of supernatural narrative says we need something bigger than us or outside of us. Now does it have to be god(s), not necessarily. I think you have to be pretty arrogant to look up at the stars and think, yeah I am top of the universal food chain.

I think the worse part of the movies is Darth Vader's back story. I really felt like they made him a spoiled, whiny brat and not an evil sociopath until the very end.

I think it's hard if you grew up with the OT to not favor them. I like the low key effects before the edit later. I like the story and the flow of the movies. I will say that Rogue One was amazing. I loved the pace, action and story line.

Yes. I do rituals for certain holidays, full and new moons, offerings out of doors. It can be difficult with neighbors and no privacy fence I also mediate/ ground outside but it can be done inside.

I am a hard polytheist. I believe that all the gods are distinct beings that actually exist. I base this on personal experience. I am also an animists and engage in ancestor worship.

Monday. We go hiking almost every other weekend. Camping about the same. I do most of religious stuff outdoors. We tend to not be in the house all summer, most of fall and spring. We are doing our end of the summer/ school is in camping trip the last weekend in August. We tend to swim a lot in the summer too. Lakes, creeks, pools.

Not sure if this is the right place but can you add Pagan to your list of religions. Seems odd to have been left out.
