There is a huge difference between someone who believes Jesus is God and someone who follows the Life of Christ. If Jehovah's Witnesses do not believe in the Divinity of Christ the no, I would not call them Christian.

If kids can call themselves transgender at 4 I don't see why they can't call themselves Christian or Muslim or democrat or libertarian. After talking to the child for a few minutes I'm sure you could establish whether he has his own views or his parents.

For a person to not be married to just assume that they are homosexual is ridiculous. He was a person who dedicated himself to his spiritual path traveled to spread that spiritual path around to others and probably knew that having a companion was not appropriate to what he was doing or could have conflicted with what he was doing.

One of the laws in the Old Testament specifically states men are not to lie down together as they would with a woman it's an abomination but so is tattoos and wearing mixed fabric clothing and cutting your hair. Considering that Christians do all these things and they're not sins says to me that the reason homosexuality persist as a heinous sin is because most people in general will not commit that sin it's easy to pass judgment on if you're straight and you're never going to be gay you're never going to violate that so it must still be wrong it's b*******.

It could have very easily been a menstrual problem where she bled on and off during the month which turned into years. There are women who experience 2 to 3 week bleeding  cycles.

Jesus's sexuality is never mentioned, discussed, proved or probed in the Bible and has no relevance on his message.

I doubt they called the day itself Friday, I believe they call Saturday Sabbit so I doubt Friday actually called Friday. They certainly had days that went from sunset to sunset and they needed him down by sunset on that day because it started Passover.. 

Actually the story is pretty clear that he had to be taken down because of Passover. Sunset on Friday there you go.

I've gone over this before. The days used to run from sunset to sunset so if you count the days from sunset to sunset it ends up being correct.

No but I am female. Thanks. I think as long as men are willing to give up parental rights and never speak to the woman or child again they can forgo being dad's or income for the child. What do you consider personal responsibility. A woman who has an abortion, a man who uses protection for his own sake or a man who gives up being a father to a born child? 

If the person is more important then the message or the gods involved you have a cult/fake religion.  If they need all your possessions and money or for you to cut off family it's a cult/fake religion.  If you have to take drugs or have sex with someone, it's a cult. 

Up until the fetus can exist outside the body on it's own (around 24 weeks and that is really early) abortion should be legal and safe. One, medical privacy. Two,  the unborn have not rights with the living do. Three, the mother is life support for the fetus. As we can terminate life support for a 'living' person with no quality of life left so pregnancy can be terminated before any 'quality of life' is established. 

The thing that irritates me about pro life advocates is their view forces morality onto others where pro choice allows for personal responsibility . 

I know some gods can be misogynist and some have been rewritten that way by men who are basically Christian.  There is a book I want to get called The Alphabet vs. The Goddess by Dr. Leonard Shlain. He discusses that since most are right handed that writing stimulated the left brain and that is the masculine side of the brain. There for the goddess and women have been reduced in society with the increase in the written word. He also goes on to say both significant women's movements came from the increase in picture communication, Suffragettes with photography and the 60's with TV. 

Sorry if the message of where the feminine come in is hidden too deep in woowoo for you.  Sometimes male is confused with masculine and female with feminine. Polytheist religions often give gender to qualities more than a body type. 

I wouldn't say mocks but it certainly messes with the myths giving people the wrong impression. I realize if you think they are bs who cares but when discussing religion or the details one should try be accurate. 

And you brought up Norse/Germanic mythology. Mr. I don't want to discuss religion or give it air. 

I would think if they could invade we could experience them. I have not. So I would say they haven't. Now that doesn't mean you can't interact with demons, just that a full scale invasion has not.

My last response was rude so let me state this so you understand my perspective but I don't usually do this cause most of the time no one cares. In all the creation myths, and I mean where people are created not the planets or realms the gods make, a male god is involved. Usually more than one.  The reason I think this is, is two fold. One male gods are usually associated with air, thought, words and language. In almost every myth divine breathe is put into the vessel to bring life. Two, the vessel is made from Earth, which is female. So in the most known or discussed myth the God of Abraham (male) takes clay from the Earth (female) and forms a vessel that he speaks into existence of the way of breathing into the vessel. Hence the word often referred to. Same for Norse myth with Odin and trees (three gods in that one). Prometheus and Athena make man. In this case Prometheus fashions man and Athena is the breathe.  In Egyptian myth I believe it's a male god and clay again. So yes male gods can create without female gods. But in most cases the feminine element is Earth. 

Do you know someone with an eagle?  Do you really give your dog no meat at all?

The Muslims are truer to the God of Abraham then Christians. 

Finally someone admits they have not no desire to actually discuss religion. They are just here to witness to the evangelicals.

LOL, this is probably a Religion forum question. But I will say no or they would have done it by now. 

Just because gods don't write books doesn't mean assigning them gender or gender qualities is wrong. 

Our local businesses have done ok. Most people wanting to avoid large crowds started eating at local places, buying at local places and many people promoted local business on Facebook and Instagram to help them out.  My husband's at home business doubled but he makes camping gear, lol. I think it depends on how flexible you were able to be and if you could balance number or workers to customers. 

You still have rights while incarcerated. I don't see why you should be restricted from voting.  If you wanted to wait till they are out of prison maybe since they have then done the time and  "paid the price".  Voting, unlike not getting your guns back, isn't a safety issue for anyone. Voting is about representation and that population should have some considering they are at the whim of the government while incarcerated.

Depends. There is the one source, infinite intelligence that is the life force of the universe and then there are gods. Who are beings that have evolved to be if not immortal at least long lasting enough to have a vast amount of knowledge they are ready to share if you engage with them. Or are spirits of natural processes that have worked with men so long they are able to be called on by man for assistance.

And sometimes they kill other theist it doesn't make it any less theistic murder according to you people so let's just apply the same thing right across the board for everybody how about we do that.

What does flying have to do with a post on murder. And any confusion you have on the morality of murder is not a theist issue that's your own personal problem.

If your going to bring up murder in a conversation about theism expect someone to take offense to being called a murderer when they are not one.
