What is your favorite movie, and why?

--spoilers for Everything Everywhere All at Once and Bullet Train--

I'll go first: Everything Everywhere All at Once.

I love movies that have heart. Movies that are well made, have tons of action, but action with purpose. Another good example of this in my opinion is Bullet Train. Although not as good, Bullet Train has an overall fun and action-packed story with a reason for the action; it also has morals of luck and karma.

circling back to Everything Everywhere, it tells the story of a struggling mother who isn't good at anything useful to her. Her relationship with her daughter and husband is dwindling. Her life changes when she is selected as a last resort by a parallel universe version of her husband to stop a villain aiming to destroy the multiverse. the villain turns out to be a parallel version of her daughter, whos mind has been shattered across the multiverse. The mother voluntarilly shatters her own mind in order to save her daughter, to relate to her daughter for once in their life.

overall, I think Everything Everywhere All at Once is a beautiful movie and a must-watch.

what about yall?

The Israel-Palestine (or I should say Israel-Hamas) conflict is very complicated and indeed quite interesting. Let's talk about it. What do you think of it, Is there any side you think is right, etc.

To start off, I think that both the Israeli militaries and Hamas are completely at fault. The Palestinian citizens are experiencing a genocide of sorts, and Israeli citizens are becoming the victims of terrorist attacks.

I think the conflict is not one-sided at all. Of course, this forum post won't do anything except open discussion, but I do think Hamas should disband as well as other terrorist organizations (including the CIA [that's mostly a joke but still they aint a great organization]) and Israel should stop attacking Palestinian citizens and give them their goddamn human rights.

So, what do you fellow internet dwellers think?

i miss george carlin a lot. I quote him on a daily basis and listen to his old shows so many times that I knw exactly what the next sentence is. I know every punchline, every commentary.

one time i found an older recording from a show he did in Florida. Thing is, it was difficult to find because it was recorded privately and not officially.
I still knew every line, every joke, except one.

"We kissed and my balls exploded."

I laughed very hard at this. this joke is not even that funny. I just never heard it from this man I claim as my idol on this planet.

What do you think comes after death? Any replies welcome. Bonus question: If someone told you that you had 3 days to live, would you be ready to die?

It's exactly as it sounds. I know I tagged #anarchy, but I'm not actually an anarchist. I believe that as long as there is a government system controlling you or people near you, there is no such thing as "freedom." obviously, every human has freedom to do whatever they want, its about punishment. As I'm righting this, I realize that I am sort of wrong with my own opinion, but nonetheless, thoughts?

I think theres no such thing as "transgenderism" and the "gay agenda." I think there are trans people (like myself) and gay people, and people in between. fight me.

also bonus round, for those of you who agree so far, I am actually Non-Binary. I think non-binary = trans. also fight me.
