You know if you want to be Canadian you can just move there and become a citizen. Not sure why you feel like the choice should be I have to be Canadian or I have to be a Trump voter. I'm not either and actually kind of satisfied with that.

Various faiths have various views on whether or not animals have souls or spirits. I've never read anything in monotheism to indicate that animals have spirit and have any sort of afterlife. Most pagan faiths have some basis in animism and the idea that everything has a spirit and everything gets the in afterlife. I know plenty of monotheists who will tell you their pet went to heaven even though there's nothing in any of their holy books to indicate that's the truth. So it largely depends on what you believe as far as whether or not animals have a spirit and if they do they have an afterlife. Why an animal would go to hell makes no sense to me but if you want to consider that they might I guess that's possible.

You can always tell when someone doesn't like to work hard cuz they complain that people that work hard make more than people who don't.

Poor atheist what do they do in real life when they can't talk about how much they hate theists to people's faces because they know that somebody would never speak to them again. I mean imagine if they were really honest looked at someone and said I think you're  illogical and I think you're mentally ill and I think you're evil but we can still be friends or family or whatever. Everybody gets social security that has nothing to do with the poor and if you don't want to pay any social security and plan your own retirement the government won't let you. So you're stuck with whatever they put you in even if you could invest it in a way that makes more money. I have no problem reducing our military budget we should not have bases in any country but our own we should not have military in any country but our own and what military we have in this country should be doing things like infrastructure and other things on the interstate that would save the state's money.

If giving money to the government and the government helping people got them out of poverty we still wouldn't have the amount of people not eating it in poverty that we have. We are constantly having to supplement government programs with private donors because they don't do enough to feed the hungry or how's the homeless or any other goddamn thing. The government doesn't do it. They do just enough to keep people from dying that's it.

The death tax doesn't go to poor people it goes to the f****** government who keep those people in poverty so don't give me that crap. That somehow taking money from Bill Gates is going to end up in the hands of the poor it won't it'll end up in the hands of the government and they'll still decide who gets what.

Democracy doesn't work because most people are terrified and I mean terrified that the other party will win and their agenda will not be represented in Washington. As long as only two parties are allowed to have air time for and participate in debates it's going to be that way. 

It's nobody's business what I do with my f****** money or how I want my f****** money spent when I die. If I worked so my kids wouldn't have to work as hard as me f*** you it's not any of your goddamn business. And it's especially not the governments. I'm sick of people acting like people with money don't deserve to have it because they have more than they need that is BS. You get what you get and you earn what you earn no matter the circumstances do I think people that are poor should have the opportunity to make more money or have a living wage hell yes. Do I think the Rockefeller should get to pass their money down to their kids without their kids having to pay the tax on it when it's already had the tax paid on it several times hell yes. It cracks me up the most because it's okay for certain people to be rich but not okay for other people to be rich. Nobody ever brings up Bill Gates when people talk about people having more money than they freaking ever need. Or Nancy Pelosi or the Clintons or Joe Biden or anybody in Hollywood or any athletes. It's always businessmen or conservatives. That's why I don't buy your bull crap.

My problem with a death tax is someone's already paid taxes on that. Basically the government saying is because it's transferring from one person to another you should pay taxes on it again because you didn't pay taxes on it. Inheritance is not the same as income it just isn't. I get so sick of people feeling like because someone has a certain amount of money they should have to give it to someone else especially the f****** government.

There is so much going on in this opening statement that it, ugh. It's becoming more acceptable to be all kinds of things it has nothing to do with just being gay there's more than one letter in lgbtq. Being bisexual is coming way more prevalent and that's because it's becoming more open and acceptable to be that way. I've met several people openly will tell you that they're asexual nobody would have ever even discussed that before. They just said I don't feel like dating and now when you ask they will say because I'm asexual and don't want to be with anybody. The numbers are increasing because people are able to openly say this is what I am without repercussions. And straight people produce gay people all the time. And gay people can have children. So can trans people and so can queer people.

Exactly Jesus said leave politics to the politicians. He was not political he did not want Christians to be political. I don't even believe he existed at all that doesn't mean I get to make s*** up that's not in the Bible because I'm not a Christian or I didn't think he lived. Be in the world not of the world believe is another one. You can't continue, atheist, to talk about how Jesus was a socialist hippie, how Jesus was ingrained in politics, how Jesus did this and that that was political and it's all bull crap. Jesus went around and spoke to large groups sometimes feeding them it had nothing to do with politics it had everything to do with his spiritual path. Again this is atheists trying to take Jesus and make him more atheist to spite Christians, it's lies, it's hypocrisy considering most of them hate Christianity and hate religion and hate Christians and theists. Regardless of the politics in the Bible Jesus is not political. That's like when Christians say well Jesus was in Bethlehem and Bethlehem's a real place therefore Jesus was real. The two don't necessarily mean anything together. Jesus never talked about running for politics being a politician what you should do regarding politics none of that. And I would tell you to be ashamed of yourselves for trying to do it but why bother because atheists get off on this s***.

Sounds like people are confusing Jesus with Robin Hood. There's nothing in the Bible to indicate Jesus discuss politics. Feeding the hungry isn't socialism it happens here in America as well as other places that are capitalist. Jesus said having money made it hard to get in heaven not that people should take the rich's money and distribute it so they can go to heaven cuz they won't give up on their own. If you want to make things up that's fine but if you're talking about Christianity then you have to base what you're talking about on the New Testament. If not you're just saying what you want and sticking it to Jesus cuz you want to take Jesus from the Christians. No one's impressed by that but other atheists.

Jesus never discussed politics. Not wanting money changers in the church was out of respect for God it had nothing to do with politics. He fed the hungry because they showed up to see him and he wanted them to be full enough to hear what he was saying to them that's not politics that's common f****** sense. Jesus believed in God and the church and self-responsibility. That's not indicative to any political party no matter what either side thinks.

Science has nothing to do with religion. Religion is about a relationship with a god or gods. It is based on personal experience and emotion just like a relationship with a person walking around on the planet. It's got nothing to do with science. Religion was born out of animism which was a relationship with the spirits of the things around people everyday again a relationship. Talking about religion is no different than talking about a marriage or friendship or parent-child relationship or husband wife relationship. Nobody ever says oh you love your wife we need scientific proof of that.

If life begins at conception then you should be issued at birth certificate as soon as it's proven you're pregnant for the "child" you're carrying. You should be able to receive any benefits that come from being a parent with a living breathing child like tax breaks, food stamps, wic or any other benefit that comes once the child's born if you qualify. If you engage in any behavior that's considered risky to the fetus then you should be able to be incarcerated in your child removed immediately upon its birth and you may never be allowed to have another child again due to abuse and neglect. This includes smoking, consuming any alcohol, driving at a high rate of speed, not wearing a seatbelt or any other behavior that could cause you to get hurt while pregnant. And finally a man should have to begin paying child support immediately if the pregnant woman is not married. Any man engaging in behavior that could put his pregnant girlfriend at risk for miscarriage should be incarcerated for attempted murder.

Until somebody figures out that science has nothing to do with religion these conversations are meaningless and people shouldn't even be posting here 

I'm sorry but stating if Mongolia is allowed to do it we're allowed to do it makes no sense. We are a completely different country with a completely different set of values. It doesn't matter if they're maintaining any sort of money on the statue if it's on public property it's a taxpayer statue.

How many Genghis Khan statues do we have in the US? Not sure we get to tell other countries what they can and can't do. Actually people are spending money on having religious statues removed from taxpayer property. If you want to build a Confederate statue or put the ten commandments in your front yard there's not much anybody could do to stop you. Again we're addressing statues in public areas or that are being kept up by tax money privacy is a completely different matter.

Well since your opinion is only important to atheists no one who might be practicing anything that falls in any of those categories really cares what your take on any of this is. 

That's because atheists are too smart to distinguish a religious practice which involves gods from a non-religious practice that involves spirituality. Considering they're smarter than every theist  who has ever lived they should be able to tell the difference.

Oh so if it's something you don't really know anything about you just shove it into a religion because that's what you think all the stuff you don't like or think of as stupid should go. Mediumship has nothing to do with religion. You don't have to be religious and claim to be a medium all you have to believe is that you talk to spirit. Most religions don't even say they support mediumship. So it would fall under I don't know paranormal, occult, metaphysical let's find some other word besides religion which I'm sure you shove all those into religion too even though none of them involve a f****** god.

 Baiting is about site rules. These are not debate questions especially since mediumship is not a religious practice. 

If at this point people don't understand the basic concepts of Christianity should they really be here arguing about them.
