A new app is coming to the rise with TikTok. This app is short 15-60sec video making site where people do a variety of things. This app was founded in 2018 and became popular in late 2019 and since is blowing up. I decided to take a deep dive into the app by creating an account and creating videos to see how some of the biggest people get famous...

To see how big people have become on the app, we look at some of the highest grossing influencers on the site

Charli D'amelio, a 15yr old from Norwalk, CT, has gone famous from making dancing videos to viral songs. She has about 43M followers, gaining a million followers in a day. In the past 3 months, she has gained 32M followers in 3 months, which no other influencer on any platform has done. The closest being PewDiePie, where Charli has the same amount of growth PewDiePie had, but in 1/2 the time it took on a MUCH SMALLER PLATFORM with TikTok. 

TikTok's algorithm is fairly simple yet effective way to see your videos go viral. I use a circle. Your video gets pushed out to a sample size of 50-100 people. If people engage and have a higher watch time (completing the full video), the most your video gets pushed out to other people, where it take a larger sample size. If the same stats, it appears to more and more until it goes viral and gets about 1M views.

This methodology takes the videos the people like and pushes them out to the community. Shorter videos will get you more engagements and more watch time, and more watch time means the video you create get pushed out.

The For You page algorithm for your searching is truly an unique feature that has not been this accurate in technology. China's advanced AI allows people on people For You pages to directly engage if that is what the user likes. It takes the users videos it likes, its search history, its comments, and the following it enjoys, and pushes it to the user.

Now with this...this means there is an equal chance for anyone on the platform to go viral depending on the content you create and who it reaches. With the quality time put in and some effort, it seems you can become TIKTOK famous within minutes. This new wave of content creators is changing the way we think virality happens, and how companies are catering to the virality.

These type of houses are doomed to fail, where you have a mass amount of people living in one house to promote content. With Team 10, we saw it fail because it was a clout struggle and had multiple personalities. 19 people is a lot. But Team 10 worked for the time it did was because it had a leader/founder who carried the load. The leader, Tommy Petrou, is piggy backing off the success of the other members. This is a recipe for disaster. But this disaster brought attention in their way to mainstream stardom. Their stardom is now leaping and now with their recognition, they are getting big sponsors and lifting other creators growing by TikTok into the main stream

The House allowed people on an app who did not have that main stream media influence through TikTok, have the chance. We see the same happening with YouTube and every other social media app

Cartoon Networks: Regular Show was more than just a cartoon, but it was truly a masterful piece of art during the Renaissance of Cartoon Network in the 2010s, where Cartoon Network dominated television. With a show centered on fluid and effective dialogue, the themes formed by Regular Show may be the strongest and most mature out of my experiences of watching. The art of the show is brilliant, with the plot being engaging and entertaining. This show is the epitome of a masterful cartoon, one that will live on in Cartoon History, with the likes of Looney Tunes and Spongebob.

JG Quintel has an art of developing interesting characters with plot that directly intertwine with these characters with small and big problems. These problems are always intertwined and turn into something a lot bigger, escalating a little problem until a bigger one forms, which is harder to deal with. This teaches us about being honest and dealing with the smaller problems first and addressing them

It always teaches us the impact of lying. Lying is what nearly costs Rigby his friendship. There is a lot to address and shows the impact of our action overall.

The plot overall is always engaging and has engaging sub plots and regular plots as well, with the development of a larger conflict always being interesting. This show has been the key point in a revolution of Cartoon Network, and is a great example of how cartoons should function coming near the future. As we come to an end to a Renaissance, new creators should look to build off Regular Show's engaging story lines and character development and create their unique perspective on it. Character development is key to a great cartoon, and is a limitation for a potential iconic cartoon. I believe SVTFOE goes through the same problem, but makes up for it's outstanding plot development.

Regular Show's character may be just as good as BoJack Horseman's is some aspects (with the limitation of PG versus R in mind). Mordecai develops a character as a voice of reason and someone who seems to be in and out of love, Rigby seems to become this pathological liar and destroys the life of these characters. Flaws are clearly pointed out and addressed, but in less mature ways

In conclusion, Regular Show is a marvelous and masterful modern cartoon, which will live as an iconic cartoon for the 2010s

The Super Bowl is now upon us as we dawn on a great match up where the best defense vs the most explosive offense collide with each other. On Feb 3, Patrick Mahomes and Andy Reid will take on Jimmy G and the 49ers defense in Miami to hoist the most precious trophy in Sports History, the Lombardi Trophy in Miami's new stadium, Hard Rock Stadium, where Shakira and j-Lo will perform the half time show.

Taking a deep dive into the game we look at each team and how they have played into the season

The 49ers went 14-2, with 2 loses to the Ravens and the Seahawks. These teams were the most challenging to this team. They have played ALL playoff teams besides the Eagles and have beaten them. They beat the Saints, Packers, Seahawks, and Vikings. The only team left out being the Eagles. They have proven themselves to be a defensive thread with a hard run game with a reliable receiving core led by George Kittle and Emmanuel Sanders, with Deebo being a rising star. The defense speaks for itself for the level of dominance they bring to the table overall. Stopping some of the best offenses this season. 

This is a team with a well rounded core and a strong coaching staff, a good looking candidate

The Chiefs have a defense that seems lackluster and disappointing on paper, and had a less than ideal season. But they have one player that changes the course of the game

Not only is Patrick Mahomes a great QB, but he will soon be the Greatest and Best QB of all time, with the clutch of Brady and Manning with the arm of Favre, while being mobile as well for a big frame, a resemblance of Cam Newton, Patrick Mahomes can change the momentum of the game and win you games.

I have a list of impressive accolades for him, but let's dive in.

As an injured QB missing 3 games, he still has an impressive 26 TD's on season, while hurt. This man is crazy. He took the Chiefs to from a 6-5 record to a 11-5 record going on a tear late season, and the rest, haha.

Mahomes this post season alone is flawless, throwing for 11 TD's with 1000 yards and a 61% completion, with this year being 66%. Did I mention he has done this in the playoffs.

Came back when down 24-0 in the 1st quarter, scored 41 unanswered points and beating the Texans 51-31 with 4 TD passes and 1 TD run. The second game, 3 TD passes and 1 rushing TD. The man is a god and with the offense they have, he torches defenses. He took out a great NE defense, a solid TEN defense which stopped the MVP Lamar Jackson from going to a Championship bout, and various other teams. This offense is explosive and fiery.

I looked at every team and given my beliefs. For the Chiefs, I feel we are prisoners of the moment and that a dominant defense in it's prime can stop Mahomes. With the Niners, we look at Jimmy G as a weak link with questions if he can perform throwing the ball. I lean to prisoners of a Patrick Mahomes moment. I still think he is a young and inexperienced overall and thinks he has time to grow if he hasn't already. I think Jimmy is more ready than Patty because he was there with Brady in the SB and has the composure. I think the 49ers have a good offense and the Chiefs have defensive struggles. I think their offense gets the job done in here.

While I believe the Chiefs appear to be the more talented team, I will not be a prisoner of the moment. I think the 49ers win this game

Summary: First off town, you should be bowing down to Bullish. He saved town from some bad mislynches and pretty much carrying town. You were set up perfectly to win with DP1 ending in a no lynch, which I think was smart. Pie used his redirect wisely, and confirmed Grey as a cop, hence giving an early power role. The toast lynch was good. I was sad that Press was inactive and I thought he would be a huge asset, but inactivity plagued him this time and led to his death. I think Mafia played out 1-4 flawlessly and overall did well. I never understood why Drafter was gaining a lynch. Lunatic was pushing a lynch toward him and was a hard bus to come by. This left Speed and Water vulnerable where Water would have been the lynch for weakest town link. Lunatic lynch made drafter lean innocent so that was a bad lynch. Drafter wasn't acting town, but still. Singularity claim was weird overall.  Good game overall.
