Great job everyone! Like I said, this was a really swingy game with all the third parties, a recruiter, etc. It could have gone really pro mafia if the Justice would have targeted third party and town as well. Oro getting caught early was a good catch from danielle, I don't think he would have been suspected if she didn't jump in with a FOS late dp1. 

Good job everyone, speed played well but was faced with some tough POE, and the fake claim ultimately hurt him.

Oromagi- You are Light Yagami, from Death Note. You are the main character of the show. After finding a book called “the death note”, you are able to kill just about anyone by writing their name in the book. Since light is able to recruit and control new disciples to carry out his bidding, you are also the 1x Mafia recruiter. During Np1, you can choose a player to recruit into your mafia PM with you. After you recruit, you have the option to become a roleblocker or a rolecop, and your recruit target will take whatever role you don’t choose. They may also choose to keep their original role instead. You win with the mafia. (Note: You cannot recruit the alarmist. If your recruit is prevented, you will retain the recruit ability) (Lynched DP2)

Supadudz- You are Usopp, from One Piece. You are a bit of a coward, and your weapon of choice is a slingshot. When compared with the rest of the crew, you aren’t that special. You left the crew briefly but could not be without them so you came back and are more loyal than ever. You are the comic relief of the series, and are thus the Jester. If you are lynched on day phase 3, you win the game. You win with yourself. (Changed to Vanilla Townie np1, Killed NP2)

Danielle- You are Eren Yeager, from Attack On Titan. After realizing you could become a titan yourself, you decided to help the scout regiment fend off attacking titans. Traitors Annie, Berholdt, and Reiner attempted to recruit you to their cause to wipe out humanity, yet you resisted and continued to help the Eldians. You are the 2x ALARMIST. Twice during the game you can target a player. If that player was recruited and would have changed affiliations during that night phase, they will instead remain whatever affiliation they started with. This ability will not work on an already recruited individual from a previous night phase. You cannot be recruited yourself. You win with the town. (Killed Night Phase 1)

Welcome to Ultimate Weeabu Universe Mafia! This mafia game is a compilation of anime characters from my favorite animes. This is not a role madness game, though it may work out to be a bit swingy depending on how things go. 

Basic Rules are no sharing outside pm's with seomeone in the game about game related content, and no copy pasting/screenshotting role pm's. 

You can use PM structure argumentation at your own risk, though I am known to switch up role pm structure to counter this. Full tranparency, I usually give mafia fake claims, either roles or characters, usually not both. I will not censor players this game, if you have a problem with another player, dish it out with them however you like. In fact I encourage you to come up with creative insults to your fellow mafia player. 

Game will start when bullish's concludes, or if RM's game occurs, after his game. It is currently designed for 10 players.

This is an old fun forum game I'd like to bring back, anyone can play and participate at any time. How it works, is you make a wish, any wish! Then the next person to reply grants it, but corrupts it in some way before making their own wish. We keep it going until we get bored and the thread dies.

Person 1: I wish for a billion dollars!

Person 2: Granted, but now the IRS is after you because of the sudden suspicious increase of money, and you get thrown in prison. I wish for world peace!

Person 3: Granted, but your the only person left on earth now. I wish for....

WaterPhoenix- You are Szeth-son-son-Vallano, AKA “truthless of Shinovar”, AKA “The Assasin in white”. Szeth is one of the most feared individuals in Roshar, being responsible for the killing of multiple Monarchs across Roshar at the command of King Taravangian. You hold one of the ten herald’s (Jezrien) honor blades, and are thus granted the abilities of a knight radiant wind-runner. You are the JOAT and have the following 1x abilities at your disposal. 1x Lawyer, 1x Frame, 1x Janitor, and 1x Ninja. You win with the mafia. (Lynched DP3)

Bullish- You are Shallan Davar, A knight radiant of the Lightweavers. After living a sheltered, abusive childhood, you are finally free and on your own. After a long journey in which you basically went from rags to riches and ended up becoming ward to the powerful Jasnah Kholin, you have since discovered the ability to lightweave and summon your spren ‘Pattern’ into a shardblade. In addition, you can disguise yourself as almost anything. You commonly use your alter-ego “Veil” to uncover the secrets of Urithiru and solve murders. You are the Cop, and can investigate a person in the night to see if they are guilty or innocent. You are not flavored, though other roles may exist that could tamper with your results. You win with the town. (Killed NP3)

Speedrace- You are Dalinar Kholin, AKA the Blackthorne. In your youth, you were one of the deadliest warriors in Alethkar, and quickly helped your brother gain a throne through ruthless battle fury. In your younger days, you often didn’t feel fulfilled unless you had blood on your sword and were filled with the Thrill. You are the 1x vigilante. 1 time during the game at night you may choose a player to kill. If your kill is protected or blocked, you lose the x shot. You win with the town. (Killed NP2)

Crocodile- You are Rock, a former slave from bridge four. Despite your incredible size and strength, you are basically a big loveable teddy bear who helps increase the moral of other slaves from the depressing job of running face first into steady streams of arrows while placing a bridge down for more important soldiers to cross. Despite being used as human arrow fodder, you continuously make stew for the bridge crews each night. You are Vanilla. You win with the town. (Killed NP2)

Supadudz- You are Navani Kholin, Mother to King Elhokar, and wife to your… Brother in law… Weird? A little bit. That said, you are one of the most intelligent minds and inventors in alethkar. You commonly communicate with other scholars around Roshar using spanreeds to send and receive information that can help better Alethkar. You are the messenger. Each night you can send 1 message to a person. You win with the town.

DD- You are Renarin Kholin, son of Dalinar. Growing up, you were never as skilled in the sword as your brother Adolin or your father Dalinar. However you were extremely intelligent and are slowly finding your place in the world. When you became a Knight’s Radiant, you found yourself with the ability to heal others with stormlight. You are the doctor! Each night you can choose a player to protect. If that player is targeted for the night kill, the kill will not go through. You win with the town.

I just have to say Speedrace is a fantastic mafia player, and proves it time and time again. My first game with him ever was the office mafia game, late last year where he went under the radar all the way to the end and played very pro town as scum. He's been playing live mafia with us recently, and has a 100% win ratio as scum in like 6 games.

Last night I saw him pull an amazing victory with the odds stacked against him. His scum partner supa was lynched dp1, and he had a scummy character claim that people suspected throughout the whole game. He pulled off perfect results with his lawyer and frame (you could say it was luck, but I think it was proper prediction). He lawyered himself np1 causing doubt from the cop, and gambled a frame on bullish np3 after he was already inno'd np2, successfully predicting the cop would test her result on him again. It was awesome from a mods perspective to watch him kick @ss like that.

I definitely wouldn't under-estimate speed in any game you play with him, he is very deceptive as scum.

This mafia game is based on a fantasy book series called "The Stormlight Archives" by author Brandon Sanderson. The characters can be from the following books that are out: "The Way Of Kings", "Words of Radiance", "Edgedancer", and "Oathbringer". The game will begin after Bullish's finishes.

Well my return to the site was mostly due in large to a revitalized interest in mafia. I came back in October and enjoyed a good 4 months of mafia games. Its been fun! It's been real! But I'm probably out until mafia makes a return to the website. Thanks to everyone for some fun times and good memories. Its been real.

Hello everyone! I have an idea for what I feel would be a fun concept for a debate tournament. The idea would be that all the participants are completely anonymous throughout the tournament, until the end where I announce the winner of the tournament and their identity. 

How it will work, I will create a discord server for the two challengers each round, in which case they will use an anonymous discord name that doesn't distinguish who one another is. They agree to the terms of the debate, (round length, time limit, etc). Then they will both have 3 days each to submit arguments to me via google doc. Once that document is sent to me I will copy and paste that argument into my own google document as a stamped final, so the debater cannot make edits later after the argument is submitted. After all round of argumentation are submitted, I will send the completed google doc with both debaters arguments separately to 3 volunteer judges who will decide the winner between the anonymous pro and con. 

Since this is a proof of concept idea that I want to see if it will work, I will start with 4 test subjects. If you are interested in participating in this tournament, please message me privately. I will announce when I have 4 volunteers and we can start this. There will be the main round then a final round, before the winner is announced. If this turns out well I'd like to try an 8 man out later.

I will need 3 judges but your identity doesn't need to be hidden. I would prefer judges with a lot of debate experience, and who are generally open minded with how they reserve judgment. RFD's will be messaged to the debaters after a decision is made on the winner.

Wasnt expecting it to go down with the gunsmith dying dp1. It was pretty clutch last minute deal but good job to drafter for not getting hammered.

If this was a normal game mafia still probably would have won given the two following mislynches. Well played to all.

I know I went recently but no one else is posting a quick fire, and Zaradi's game isn't starting til march, so I wanted to try this other concept out.

1 gunsmith. The gunsmith will be selected randomly, and HAS to pass a gun to someone each night. The gun MUST be used by the person receiving the gun. The gun can be passed to mafia, but is the only night killing method. After using the gun the player will become the new gunsmith and must select who to give a gun to the following night phase.

1 vest maker. The vest-maker will be selected randomly, and HAS to pass a 1x bulletproof vest each night. The vest is a 1 time use, and expires after the night phase it is received. The receiver of the vest becomes the new vest maker, and must pass the vest the following night phase.

 

1 Mechanic. The mechanic will be selected randomly, and HAS to select a person to fix each night. If a vest or gun has been tampered with, the mechanic will fix the item. The receiver of the mechanic ability will become the new mechanic, and must pass the ability on the following night phase.

1 Saboteur. The Saboteur is the only role in the game that is static and cannot be passed. This role will be the mafia's only ability, barring they aren't given a gun or vest. The Saboteur can choose a player to sabotage at night. If that player received a vest, it will not work. If that player owns a gun, the gun will backfire and kill the shooter. The mechanic is the only counter to this role.

Gunsmith, vestmaker, and mechanic will be chosen at the start via RNG, meaning yes the mafia can potentially start out with one or all three of these roles, so starting out as one of these is not town confirmation. If someone dies as any of these roles, the role is permanently removed from the game and cannot be passed anymore.

Anyone interested? I think 7 would be fun for this. If we get seven, I will make 2 mafia vs 5 town, if we get only 5 I will do 1 mafia vs 4 town.

A new sign up for quickfire games for  designed for around 5 or 6 players. I propose a list until we have more activity for the main games.

Mafia numbers are low atm. I am proposing that we do back to back quickfires til it seems there are enough players to revive actual forum games. If we do this, should we create another list, or do as we've always done with them and allow signups to be first come first serve?

Theme difference was Mafia were from games town won, town was from games mafia won.

Thoughts: Zaradi and grey didn't do anything bad, they took a gamble with a gambit that didn't work. It was a good try though and if it worked probably would have secured them to the endgame.

BTW this is the first town win 8 games (I think MCU heroes was the last) so great job townies. I half expected Zaradi to pull a win out of his ass, given everyone wanted to confirm zaradi for the cop fake claim I gave him. BTW it is true, I usually give mafia a really solid fake claim. Last game I hosted, I gave them the main character of the story. I do this to influence looking at behavior over claims. I also had town slightly more powerful than mafia in this game, they needed four mislynches, and had a couple "confirmable" roles with the mason and DD.

Welcome one and all to the sign ups for my third game on DART! This is a concept i've wanted to do for a year but keep delaying it for excitement about other themes. Well I finally caved and am getting it done. The theme will be roles from past DDO mafia games, and your role pm can be any role that was used in any game going back to when mafia first started on the website! 

There will be no 3rd party in this game. There will be two "thematical" differences between mafia and town, things that both affiliations roles will not have in common, so fake claiming and scum hunting will be viable. I have balanced this game for 13 and would prefer not to have the rebalance last minute but will if I must. Thanks in advance for signing up.
