I would say, more popular and less popular.

And I don't think that goodness is a determining factor.

I would suggest that the factors that determine popularity are variously human, rather than topically virtuous.

The religion board has more than twice as many topics. 

Look at the top 5 boards.

Seeing a type in the more popular boards? 

Yet we have a mod team openly hostile to religion and philosophy. It would be amazing to me if I didn't know that the owner's purpose for the board is not a great and active debate site.
