When you vote for a representative or senator, you're not choosing someone who will write laws; you're choosing someone who will either approve or disapprove of laws written by lobbyists. Essentially, you are electing a hostage negotiator to the stage set by corporate lobbyists. D.C. has become the legislative arm of big business and global finance, rather than a government that truly serves the American people.

We need to recognize and address the damages caused by such leadership to prevent further erosion of our democratic principles and to restore integrity, empathy, and compliance in our governance. We must stop playing nice and hold our leaders accountable, and strive for a future that prioritizes unity, truth, and the well-being of all citizens.
