T HE common basis of our work in this Society is an interestin the Sacred books called 'The Bible'. From different anglesand along various lines of research we study the text and contextof great literature which Judaism and Christianity regard asauthoritative classics of their faith. More than that; since theSacred Book is a phenomenon of religion in general, and as isolation is a fruitful source of wrong judgment in the historical investigation of ideas and institutions, we decline to detach our SacredBook from similar books of its class in other faiths of the world. Now, in surveying the history of religion, I seem to detect fournegative truths about the Sacred Book. (i) Not every religionpossesses a sacred book. (ii) The sacred book does not lie besidethe cradle of the faith in question. (iii) No religion lives by itssacred book alone. And (iv) no sacred book can be judged apartfrom the specific ethos of the faith out of which it rose and forwhich it exists. Each of these four points would afford elbowroom and more for an address. All I can hope to do is to enquirebriefly how far they are applicable to our own sacred book,The Bible. At the outset I had better say that I quite understand theobjection tabled by some Jewish scholars to the use of the term'Old Testament' in critical discussions within a society like ourown, which embraces both Jewish and Christian members. From' Presidential Address given before the Society of Biblical Literature andExegesis, their point of view, it does imply a religious affirmation or synthesis to which they cannot agree. As a matter of fact, it iscurious that in France and even in England, down to the beginningof last century (as readers of Charles Lamb will recollect), theterms 'Bible' and 'Testament' were occasionally employed forwhat we call 'the Old Testament' and 'the New Testament'.When I use 'Bible' and 'biblical' in their accepted sense, therefore,I simply follow for the sake of convenience the traditional usageof our Society, even although 'Bible' means one thing for a Jewand another for a Christian. The point is, that our commonattitude to a Sacred Book involves belief in a collection of ancientliterature which was originally intended to represent the sourcesand the standards of the religion in question; furthermore, thatthis attitude prompts the desire to apply to its study the ordinaryprocesses of literary and historical criticism.(i) A Sacred Book or Bible, thus defined, is one thing; religiouswritings, however popular or primitive, constitute another. Anumber of ancient religions had no such sacred books at all. Thus, neither the Eddas nor the Pyramid Texts of Egypt werebibles of the people. Neither Greece nor Rome apparently feltany need of a Sacred Book; in the case of Roman religion thenearest analogy, and it is far-off rather than near, would be theSibylline Oracles, and although the Greek Oracles approximateto the notion of a Sacred Book, as being inspired directions forhuman life at the cross-roads, still they are a distant parallel. It may be true, as some scholars like Andrew Lang2 have maintained, that Hesiod's Theogony "was taught to boys in Greece, much as the Church catechism and Bible are taught in England";certainly the reaction of philosophers like Xenophanes andHeracleitus as early as the sixth century B.C. against thedemoralizing effect of veneration for Homer, does indicate thata sort of religious authority attached to the Homeric epics insome circles. But it is only a pretty literary phrase, to speak ofHesiod or Homer as a Bible for the ancient Greeks. No doubt,in some religious movements, such as Orphism and the cult ofIsis, hymns and prayers arose. One or two of the mystery-cults

Dr.Franklins Epic Guide to House Races in 2020 PT 1-GOP strategy

Currently, the Democrats control the Federal House by an upwards tick of 37, so GOP will need a +18 on the night to take back the house, can they do it? Well, Trump will just have to overperform in the Midwest and it's an easy path back. It seems easy on paper, but encouraging the voters will be hard. They have a LOT of options to take it back on offense, after losing 40 seats in the midterms.

It’s certainly possible the GOP bounces back by winning in districts where they lost close races last year. But some of those seats, especially suburban ones, are probably gone, at least while Trump remains at the helm of the Republican Party.

The Strategy for GOP is TRUMP. “We can go into all of those districts that we lost — so many of them President Trump won 2016 that I think he’ll do even better in 2020,” House Minority Whip Steve Scalise said. The Louisiana Republican said he’s seen the enthusiasm for Trump firsthand in recent travels to swing districts around the country.

And that's it, the Midwest that Trump won is where the GOP lost the house, 18 seats in The midwest can work really well!

First, take back the 4 seats in Pennslyvania, which can be done. Take 2-4 seats in Michigan, a harder task but possible.

Then, Take back Oklahoma 5, I mean Jesus that was embarrassing.

Last, Trump NEEDS to be stronger in the West. Arizona lost a seat and the senate election and is now a tossup in 2020 when it used to be a red state. Californa Dems flipped 7 SEATS!! 7!!!!! He doesn't appeal to those people and it's a problem.

Also, Iowa was embarrassing. Take ALL the seats in Iowa. Make it a red state. It's country-side and IM SHOCKED it's a swing state, It's a typical Safe GOP state, weird! The Dems don't spend any resources there anymore they think it's a lost cause, IT IS FREE VOTES GOP!!!!! take notes!

Boobs run these parties

So to conclude: Trump can easily win the Midwest again, Midwest Dems(expect Philadelphia) tend to be more moderate. Especially in Minnesota and Wisconsin. Two crazy old people who won't shut up about socialism doesn't appeal to these people, they want to grow their semi-shitty economies, they don't see that in Socialism, Biden is a South Man, and there is no southern Hospitality up in the Rust Belt.

Last, spend a LOT of resources in Nevada and Arizona. Those are the states Trump can improve in. He didn't appeal to them in 2016 so 2020 is the year to appeal to them. Take back at least 5 or 6 house seats in Cali and 1 in Washington or Oregon. Oregon can flip maybe in 2028.

So go GOP, you can do it! Beat the Dems in The Midwest.

Even though the senate race is 23 defending republicans and only 12 defending democrats, most of the Republican Senate seats are in deep-red territory. So it is important to look at the competitive races instead.

A SUPER IMPORTANT KEY IS THE INCUMBENCY POWER- Basically, if fewer people know about you, the less your incumbency advantage you have, IT IS A HUGE factor for Senate Races.

1.AL-Jones(D)

Alabama is deep red territory, but Jones won because Roy Moore was incompetent of winning and the fraud sexual assault scandals actually worked instead of just a distraction, He should have handled it like Kavanaugh instead of being a massive cuck saying sorry and to BeLiEvE tHe WoMeN, like fuck no, and letting the media suck the life out of his campaign.

His approval ratings are ok but again the main show in 2020 is Trump VS. A Democrat so it depends if the voters swing one way for Trump, but it's Alabama so anything could happen

AZ-McSally(R)

She lost once but replaced John Fucktard Mcain. Arizona is becoming a MAJOR BATTLEGROUND state so anything could happen, This one relies completely on the presidential Election as McSally is a typical Arizona Republican. Tossup but a slight lean republican based on Trump's numbers in Arizona.

CO-Gardner(R)

I'm gonna be honest, This is a Dem Flip. Colorado is a blue state now and nobody knows who Gardner is in his home state. I expect at least a Dem gain of 1 on the night from this.

ME-Collins(I but caucuses with the Republicans)

Another complete tossup based on the Presidental Race, nothing more to say either that Collins could be challenged in the Primary. Trump won Maine 2nd District and She is an Independent. Tossup

NC-Tillis(R)

NC is a tossup in the Presidental Election, so this race will be Competitive but his approval ratings are good and has a big incumbency advantage with a large number of people knowing about him. Probably a GOP Hold.

MI-Peters(D)

He has a good approval rating and Michigan seems to be turning the tide back to their blue origins especially with the rising black population and the continuous decline of the automobile industry and the middle blue-collar class has this going for the Dems BUT the incumbency advancement for this guy is dog shit. So it will be competitive. Possibly a GOP flip. Who knows?

That's it for the competitive races, now the rest of the races which no one cares about.

"I looked at Paradise and found poor people forming the majority of its inhabitants; and I looked at Hell and saw that the majority of its inhabitants were women. ""

"The Prophet said: "I was shown the Hell-fire and that the majority of its dwellers were women who were ungrateful. " It was asked, "Do they disbelieve in Allah? " (or are they ungrateful to Allah? ) He replied, "They are ungrateful to their husbands and are ungrateful for the favors and the good (charitable deeds) done to them. If you have always been good (benevolent) to one of them and then she sees something in you (not of her liking), She will say, 'I have never received any good from you. "

Man is that the modern American women today or what??

Fact: The United Kingdom has always had a lower homicide rate than the United States, Even when British citizens could legally buy machine guns (Briton's modern era of gun control did not ramp up until the 1960s). The difference is cultural, Not legal.

Fact: Since gun banning has escalated in the UK, The rate of crime " especially violent crime " has risen.

Fact: Ironically, Firearm use in crimes in the UK has doubled in the decade since handguns were banned. [320]

Fact: Britain has the highest rate of violent crime in Europe, More so than the United States or even South Africa. They also have the second highest overall crime rate in the European Union. In 2008, Britain had a violent crime rate nearly five times higher than the United States (2034 vs. 446 per 100, 000 population). [321]

Fact: 67% of British residents surveyed believe that "As a result of gun and knife crime [rising], The area I live in is not as safe as it was five years ago. " [322]

Fact: U. K. Street robberies soared 28% in 2001. Violent crime was up 11%, Murders up 4%, And rapes were up 14%. [323]

Fact: This trend continued in the U. K in 2004 with a 10% increase in street crime, 8% increase in muggings, And a 22% increase in robberies.

Fact: In 1919, Before it had any gun control, The U. K. Had a homicide rate that was 8% of the U. S. Rate. By 1986, And after enacting significant gun control, The rate was 9% " practically unchanged. [324]

Fact: Comparing crime rates between America and Britain is fundamentally flawed. In America, A gun crime is recorded as a gun crime. In Britain, A crime is only recorded when there is a final disposition (a conviction). All unsolved gun crimes in Britain are not reported as gun crimes, Grossly undercounting the amount of gun crime there. [326] To make matters worse, British law enforcement has been exposed for falsifying criminal reports to create falsely lower crime figures, In part to preserve tourism. [327].

PART 1 of 2, HIGHLY RECCOMMEND YOU READ THE WHOLE THING, I DID AND IT IS AMAZING

Welles Remy Crowther was born on Tuesday, May 17, 1977 at Lying-In Hospital, New York Hospital, NYC. From a very early age on he exhibited fine qualities. He was always polite and well-spoken even from a very early age. He was caring of others, especially his little sister, Honor, and very protective, with a strong sense of duty. He also was tremendously self-disciplined from a very early age.
These qualities of sense of duty and caring for others were a solid part of Welles’ character all throughout his life. His Nyack and college friends, as well as his family, knew this about Welles. He was especially devoted to his family: his parents, two sisters, Honor and Paige, and his grandparents. He was deeply fond of his uncles, aunts, and cousins, as well, and had a strong and enduring sense of family, always. Welles began his life in Pomona, NY, but his family moved to Upper Nyack, NY when Welles was 7 years old. Thus most of his school experiences and early friendships, from 2nd grade onward, were based in Nyack.
Welles attended Upper Nyack Elementary School, joined the Cub Scouts, then Boy Scouts, played Little League baseball and Pop Warner football. For three summers he was the Rockland County Diving Champion for his age group, and participated in sailing and tennis camps in Nyack. Welles then attended Nyack Middle School where he began to play lacrosse and ice hockey in addition to the other sports. He attended Camp Becket, Becket, MA, then he began to attend specialized summer programs for ice hockey and lacrosse. Welles also enjoyed and excelled at skiing, tennis, sailing and, later, golf.

At Nyack High School, Welles was a high honor roll student and was inducted into the National Honor Society and the French Honor Society. He was a top varsity ice hockey and lacrosse player for 4 years. He joined a travelling ice hockey team, the Bear Mountain Bears, his junior and senior years. Welles continued to participate in scouts into high school. He was also a member of Varsity Athletes Against Substance Abuse (VAASA) and, by invitation, participated in RYLA, a Rotary Club youth leadership conference. He was also invited to attend Camp Sunrise, a unique and specialized leadership camp. Welles graduated with high honors in 1995.
While he was in high school, at the age of 16, Welles joined Empire Hook & Ladder Co., No. 1, Upper Nyack, NY as a junior member. When he turned 18, Welles completed the New York State training program in firematics and became a full member of the company, fighting fires and dealing with emergency situations.
Welles attended Boston College, where he played varsity men’s lacrosse for four years. He graduated in 1999 with a degree in Economics. He was active with the Fellowship of Christian Athletes, a Boston College program that worked with underprivileged youngsters in the Boston area.
After graduation, Welles lived in Hoboken, NJ with Boston College friends for the first year and then in Greenwich Village, NYC with a friend he had met while in Spain.
Welles worked as an intern with the investment banking firm of Sandler O’Neill & Partners during the summer of 1997. During the summer of 1998, he traveled to Spain to participate in a summer program organized by Syracuse University, studying foreign markets. After graduation, Welles joined Sandler O’Neill & Partners, 2 World Trade Center, 104th floor, NYC, working first in research and then as an equities trader after earning his Series 7 license. On September 11, 2001 when the attacks on the World Trade Center began, Welles was no longer an equities trader. He became a firefighter.
Through telephone calls, Welles was known to have been in his office at approximately 9:00 AM.
However, he was recovered on March 19, 2002 along with NYFD firefighters and emergency services personnel who had been operating a NYFD Command Center in the lobby of the South Tower.
Welles’ final hour remained a mystery until an article about September 11th printed in The New York Times (5/26/02) mentioned eyewitness reports of a mysterious man in a red bandanna on the 78th floor Sky Lobby of 2 World Trade Center when the second plane crashed into the south tower.
This is where Welles was likely to have been at that time, since he was ultimately able to get down to the main lobby before the tower collapsed.
Eyewitnesses reported that, after the plane had hit into the Sky Lobby, a man suddenly appeared “out of nowhere”. He was stripped to his T-shirt and wearing a red bandanna to cover his nose and mouth, protection against the smoke and debris.
This man organized a rescue effort on the floors high above where the official rescue workers were able to reach. He called for fire extinguishers, he found and directed dazed and confused victims to the only stairwell that was open for escape, and he carried a woman down to the 61st floor, then returned to the 78th floor to rescue more people. He turned back up once again after bringing the second group of survivors down.
Eyewitnesses report that the man spoke calmly, with authority, and was obviously well trained. He is reported to have saved many lives that day.
Knowing that her son always carried a red bandanna in his back right pocket, Welles’ mother believed that the description of the mysterious man fit her son: his character, his training and his likely location at the time. She sent recent photographs of her son to the eyewitnesses.

God created the great, beautiful and expansive universe for a reason. It truly shows the great glory of God. The vast and beautiful universe is designed with purpose as God has shown in the Bible. First, the universe is beautiful because it is God’s canvas and great artwork masterpiece. Psalms 19:1 states-” The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of his hands.” It is clear that one of the purposes of the Universe was to show God’s majesty. Nebula’s for example are beautiful clusters of star dust that come together like an art piece that show God’s glory. He made the universe mind boggling large for us to explore and learn about it. Everything from the tiniest moon to the biggest galaxy shows God;s work and his people appreciate it,take Psalms 8:3-4 which states-” When I look at your heavens, the work of your fingers, the moon and the stars, which you have set in place, what is man that you are mindful of him,and the son of man that you care for him?” Clearly The Bible hints to God’s Glory being recognized.[LINK]
