Civil war and famine pleagued Somalia during early 1990's.  As U.S. and U.N. forces get more and more involved with peacekeeping and providing foriegn aid to southern Somalia, President Clinton approves measures to obtain leading memebers of local malitia.

An operation is quickly approved to obtain said members. The events that occured is well documented in a non-fiction novel and then displayed in the movie "Black Hawk Down."

Known as the battle of Mogadishu, the battle is described in more detail here:

Would the battle have been more successful for the American troopers if they had acted in more methodical and slower pace?

Would history be different if Nazis expanded slower?

Ok. First, I am glad we are not in an alternative world where things suck.

Now. We know the path that nazi Germany did take. Allies won. Yay.

Would there be any difference if they had moved slower?

Ex:
  • If they did not attack france when they did
  • If they kept their alliance/ non attack pact with Russia
  • If they had developed more alliances
  • If their jump to war occured 3 years later

Would the war occured any different way other than win/loose?
Would the war actually occured?

As a birthday gift to my self. I am selling my wife's motorcycle. Should I tell her?

What would be appropriate measures in doing so?

Where do I promote the selling?
Sale signs seem to never work.

Found this elsewhere. Brought it here to see what you all would say to this or how to respond to it. Fascinating cocept.

Morality may be based on the subjective interpretation of good and evil, but that interpretation forms an objective law that guide’s behaviour in the form of convention. So, morality has a base structure of subjectivity with a superstructure of objectivity. Therefore, morality is subjective in character with an objective compulsion.

Consider any educational system/institution.  public schooling, private schooling, or home schooling.   Or make one up.

What would you add to that educational system/institute to change how students experence their day?

For me I would add goals to be taught in all programs and subjects
1. Intrapersonal skills - emotional intellegience
2. Interpersonal skills - self advocacy and communication
3. Social environment - this takes 1&2 and then uses it
4. Critical thinking skills
5. Age approprate understanding of the body (human biology and medical sciences)

Subjects would include
1. Arts (self expression)
2. Reading
3. Math
4. P.e. (to include self defense)
5. Age appropriate approach to philosophy, emotional intellegence, critical thinking and more.

Subjects may increase with grade/age to include electives like
6. Computer skills
7. Labor skills
8. Languages
9. Accounting & business basics

Personally I think the younger ages are supposed to run and play and explore more than just sit and watch. Many home schooling has days where class content is covered for only half a day and then the remainder is open. Mirroring this practice could be benefitial. Schools may provide more on site and off site hands on learning environments allowing students to persue interests and make decisions as to what thst may look like.
