What is your take on this?
Is this a scandal, is it news-worthy, or is this fake news?

Fake news,
From a certain point of view,
Certainly from my view.
It's arguable that a book banned in a public school, or even a public library,
Is not banned from 'owning.
There 'are books that I can understand parents wanting to remove from schools,
Not wanting taught or stumbled upon,
That 'ought be a right of parents (Within reason, say a town hall vote or something).
'Still, book would be buyable for people in their private lives,
No book burning firemen there.
. . .
. . .
Though I suppose 'some books are banned in society,
But those aren't the books 'meant in this conversation.

Yeah. Definitely. The books banned from being sold for private use are a different topic and concern, I feel that as well.
There does seem to be mix opinions and information out there about this incident. Strangely enough, a similar claim occured in 2022. In florida as well.
Strange coincidence.
Why would children need to read books about sex?
What good can come from that? They are not allowed to have sex, so why tease them?
Also, banning books from schools is a common practice for all schools.
Its not like all books are appropriate for children.
Plus, there is a limited amount of books that schools can provide. So schools should choose best books, not random crap.
So the random crap is obviously to be removed.
