Republican goals:

1. cutting housing subsidies for the poor by 33 percent as soaring rents drive a national affordability crisis.

2. Forcing more than 1 million women and children onto the waitlist of a nutritional assistance program for poor mothers with young children.

3. Reducing federal spending on home heating assistance for low-income families by more than 70 percent with energy prices high heading into the winter months.

When she resigned as UN ambassador after 2 years, Haley had this to say:

“Jared is such a hidden genius that no one understands,” Ms. Haley said. “And Ivanka has been just a great friend, and they do a lot of things behind the scenes that I wish more people knew about, because we’re a better country because they’re in this administration.”

Ms. Haley, who has long been seen as a potential presidential candidate, said on Tuesday that she had no intention of running in 2020, as has been speculated. Instead, she said, she plans to campaign for Mr. Trump’s re-election.

The MAGA Morons are always saying the justice department only prosecutes Republicans. So how can a Democrat get investigated by the corrupt FBI?

“Sen. Robert Menendez (D-N.J.) and his wife have been indicted on bribery charges, Justice Department officials announced Friday morning, detailing what officials said was a corrupt scheme involving gold bars, stacks of cash, and using his powerful position to secretly help a foreign country.“

David Charles Weiss (born 1956) is an American attorney. He was nominated by President Donald Trump to be United States Attorney for the United States District Court for the District of Delaware, and was retained by President Joe Biden. He has served in that office since February 22, 2018.[1]

So the guy who was appointed by Trump put the fix in for Hunter Biden?

“Their bill would raise the federal minimum wage from $7.25 to $11 per hour while also requiring employers to check that their employees are legally authorized to work in the United States”

It’s a miracle! Of course $11 is too little and way too late. Should have been $15 five years ago.

“ As a Justice Department lawyer after the 2020 election, Jeffrey Clark drafted a letter to top Georgia officials declaring that the agency had reason to doubt the legitimacy of the state’s election only after he was pressed to do so by then-president Donald Trump, Clark’s lawyer told a skeptical federal judge Monday”

Trump’s own appointee admits Trump inappropriately pressured him to write a bogus letter saying the Justice Department had reason to believe fraud took place in the Georgia election even though the Justice Department did not have that opinion.

“After the Justice Department officials refused to sign Clark’s draft letter, the indictment states, Clark “tried to coerce” them into signing the letter by saying that Trump was offering to make him acting attorney general. Clark accepted that offer on Jan. 3, 2021, according to the indictment”

On the one hand, Republican Congressman Ken Buck tells the truth about the nonsense the House has accused Biden of - getting Ukraine official Shokin fired to protect Hunter and help Hunter with his Energy company client Burisma.

Then out of the same mouth comes the bullshit that Trump should not have been impeached for Trump’s attempt to blackmail Ukrainian President Zelensky by withholding military aid unless Zelensky agreed to announce an investigation of the exact same story noted above.

“The national polls from Fox News and Quinnipiac University show Trump expanding his lead over DeSantis to 47 and 50 points, respectively. Those are Trump’s largest margins to date in high-quality national polls of the race. And thus his lead in the FiveThirtyEight polling average has expanded to a whopping 41 points.“

“After President Donald Trump narrowly lost the state, Republican lawmakers raised complaints about the use of ballot drop boxes, absentee voting in nursing homes and other election policies. Over the next year, they consulted with conspiracy theorists and toyed with a discredited theory that lawmakers could revoke the state’s 10 electoral votes but turned up no evidence that would alter the results.“

Now they are trying to fire the head elections official for being too honest.

“Four years ago, the GOP-dominated state Senate unanimously confirmed Wolfe, who was appointed by an elections commission consisting of three Republicans and three Democrats. Republican lawmakers largely stayed out of her way as she and the elections commission navigated how to conduct the 2020 election amid the coronavirus pandemic”

In a call live-streamed on social media platform X, formerly known as Twitter, DeSantis and Florida Surgeon General Joseph A. Ladapo repeated comments made in a live event last week in Jacksonville, Fla., and argued there isn’t enough evidence that the booster’s benefits outweigh any risks. “I will not stand by and let the FDA and CDC use healthy Floridians as guinea pigs for new booster shots that have not been proven to be safe or effective,” DeSantis said in a statement after the call with Ladapo and other doctors, which opened with the title “No way FDA.”

“During the COVID-19 pandemic, Ladapo promoted unproven treatments, opposed vaccine and mask mandates, questioned the safety of COVID-19 vaccines, and spread miscellaneous falsehoods,[citation needed] contradicting professional medical organizations.[6][7][4] Ladapo has also opposed gender-affirming care and counselling for transgender and nonbinary minors.[8][9][10]

“Around early 2020, Ladapo began to write op-eds for The Wall Street Journal on the emerging COVID-19 pandemic, notwithstanding a lack of specialization in infectious diseases, and gained prominence as a skeptic of mainstream consensus on prevention and treatment.[4] In these columns, Ladapo promoted unproven treatments including hydroxychloroquine and ivermectin, questioned the safety of vaccines, and opposed lockdown and mask mandates deriving from his "experience in treating COVID-19 patients at University of California, Los Angeles."[4][6][15][7][16] However, UCLA's staff scheduling roster did not have him assigned to treat any COVID-19 patients, and several of his colleagues said he had never treated any COVID-19 patient.[17][18] Later that year, Ladapo signed the Great Barrington Declaration, which argued for reaching COVID-19 herd immunity by the fringe notion of "focused protection", where the less vulnerable people were allowed to be infected.[16]

In December 2021, during an interview on the Fox Channel, DeSantis was asked directly whether he had received the booster. To which he responded thusly: “So, I’ve done, whatever I did. The normal shot. And that at the end of the day is peoples’ individual decisions about what they want to do.”

Lol, what a loser

Here’s one of the losers who had assaulted Capitol police officer Michael Fanone on January 6.

Only after Fanone walked out did Daniel Rodriguez spend about a minute of his half-hour speech apologizing for shocking the police officer with a stun gun. In the rest of his remarks, he explained “Life has always seemed unfair to me.”
Rodriguez never knew his dad and didn’t finish high school. He worked low-end jobs and spent most of his time with his mother. His attorney said Rodriguez idolized Trump as “the father he wished he had.” In a letter to the court, Rodriguez’s mother described her son’s enthusiasm for Trump as something akin to a teenage crush, writing that suddenly he was eating little, sleeping less and constantly on the phone.

In April, Justice Protasiewicz won a commanding victory in what was widely seen as a referendum on abortion rights. Her 11-point margin was a blowout in Wisconsin, a purple state where presidential contests are routinely decided by fewer than 25,000 votes. She carried 12 Republican-held districts in the State Assembly and six in the State Senate.

Now the Republican state legislature is planning to impeach this judge because she won’t recuse herself on a case that clashes with her stated personal political views.

“In years past, conservative justices have argued that personal views they had previously stated did not mean they were required to recuse themselves from relevant cases. For example, Wisconsin Supreme Court Justice Brian Hagedorn once compared homosexuality to bestiality, called Planned Parenthood “a wicked organization” and wrote that “Christianity is the correct religion, and that insofar as others contradict it, they are wrong.” He has said those statements would not warrant his recusal on cases about abortion, gay rights or religion”

could this be God’s vengeance for 40 years of twisting our democracy?

McConnell destroyed the greatest legislative body on Earth, “the saucer that cools the hot tea”, for personal and partisan political gain.

Now he is like a vegetable.

He obstructed the Senate with record filibusters (over 400) during the Obama Administration.

He obstructed confirmations, even for nominees who would eventually get unanimous and bipartisan support, forcing the Democrats to change the rules for confirming lower court judges and cabinet officials.

He then changed the rules for confirming Supreme Court Justices to a simple majority, after condemning Democrats for the same change for lower court votes, that he instigated with his abuse of the filibuster.

He blocked a vote on Mertick Garland, causing a vacancy on the Supreme Court for nearly a year, under the guise of a bogus election year custom, then blew up that custom for his own nominee a short time later.

He jammed through a tax cut for the wealthy donor class, on a party line vote, abusing the Senate rules on the procedure known as reconciliation.

Worst of all he didn’t have the integrity to stand up for the Constitution when Trump was impeached.

He does not deserve dignity in his twilight after such abuses and his complete lack of integrity.

“In 2014, Ramaswamy founded the biotechnology firm Roivant Sciences; the "Roi" in the company's name refers to return on investment.[33] The company was incorporated in Bermuda, a tax haven, and received almost $100 million in start-up capital from QVT and other investors,[33] including RA Capital ManagementVisium Asset Management, and the hedge fund managers D. E. Shaw & Co. and Falcon Edge Capital.[30] Roivant's strategy was to purchase patents from larger pharmaceutical companies for drugs that had not yet been successfully developed, and then bring them to the market.[33] The company created numerous subsidiaries,[35][38] including Dermavant (focused on dermatology), Urovant (focused on urological disease), and China-based Sinovant and Cytovant, focused on the Asian market”

Ramaswamy, the guy with an unusually large and misshapen head, incorporated his first business in Bermuda to avoid paying taxes.

Then he created a subsidiary based in China. Isn’t that nice.

What a great American!

Such a great American and patriot that he hardly ever bothered to vote in any elections.

“Ramaswamy said that he voted for the Libertarian Party presidential nominee in 2004 but did not vote in the presidential elections in 2008, 2012, or 2016.[62] He described himself as apolitical during this period.[63] He supported Donald Trump in the 2020 election.[62][63]
In November 2021, Ramaswamy registered to vote in Franklin County, Ohio, as "unaffiliated", but described himself as a Republican.[62]
Ramaswamy has made political contributions to both Democrats and Republicans. In 2016, he donated $2,700 to the campaign of Dena Grayson, a Florida Democrat running for Congress.[62] From 2020 to 2023, he donated $30,000 to the Ohio Republican Party.[35]”
