why would you think that would be the end of it? He has already been defeated and his supporters believe he won. If he ran again and lost, he supporters would believe it was stolen.
His crazy supporters are going to act crazy no matter what. I think showing the country all of his crimes and punishing him for it is the better solution. Then the ones who can be reached can see he is a criminal, while the ones who can't be reached were going to be crazy and potentially violent no matter what.

He was already defeated once and it went mostly well, not too much violence.
However, arresting him is much more serious and might lead to civil war. I dont think USA can afford a civil war at this time. I could be wrong, but it all points to civil war if Trump goes to prison for life, if he is prevented from running in 2024. As I said, 80 million supporters is a lot. I wouldnt gamble with country's future just to prevent Trump from being president.

I'm 5'11 and the most I used to weigh was 190lbs, I was really big (of muscles). That's why I say it's completely believable that Trump weighs 215lbs, and he's not a muscular person, he has some belly fat only.
