“The state of Florida has encouraged schools to teach the course without objectionable material about sexual orientation and gender identity. But the College Board, which runs AP, says these topics are central to the study of psychology and cannot simply be excised. Last week, the College Board said the course was “effectively banned” and advised districts not to offer it.“

Now apparently high school students are too tender to learn about gay people.

Florida and it’s glorious wack job Governor are a disgrace .

Cheap land. That won’t last forever. Seniors want warm weather. But it’s getting too hot.

The point was that ignorance is never a good choice. The middle east chose religion over science. Now they are a shit show.

Trump was talking about Africa and because they are full of blacks, they are shit hole countries.

The Middle East is a shit show because they elevated religion over math and science. You see the difference?

Imagine living in a state where the high schools and colleges are no longer certified to teach psychology because of bigotry in the state legislature.

Sociology mainly deals with theories of famous smart people about society. It does not claim that what it teaches are facts. Just theories.

Maybe now it isnt. When I was at school, sociology was all about different, often contradictive theories about society. It never labeled something as fact. You were presented with many opposite theories about society.
The teacher often pointed out that sociology is not as supported by proof as hard science is, but that it is diverse in opinions. Everyone had their own evidence throughout history. No theory was taught as fully proven.

Desantis has a dream, he's been to the mountaintop, it's a dream that someday Florida will produce young adults that know nothing about alternative sexuality, think blacks benefitted from slavery, and that businesses shoud shun diversity. 

In other words, some day products of Florida education system will be hard core unemployable freaks that are completely ill prepared to live in the real world.  The first question on company employment applications will be, "You aren't from Florida are you?"
