2019 comes around now. It feels very weird for me. So what do you expect out of 2019

I do this every year right after playoffs come out. But since I was ENLIGHTENED by the ban I have to do it Jan 2. Let's get down to the nitty gritty

The Colts are the better team than the Texans. Luck is going to put up big numbers vs a Texans team that seems to be on a downhill run right now. Texans have not beat a major team, and even in home court, I don't see the Texans coming out on top. Colts win this game

The Chargers are playing for revenge. They could have been #1 if they didn't lose a bad game to Ravens. A potential 1 seed foiled by a team with defense. I feel they will play with revenge on their mind and end up coming on top. I like Lynn as a coach and the Chargers are a better team if you look at the big picture.

I do not like the Cowboys at all. I don't trust Dak in big games where HE needs to find receivers versus Zeke eating up the D-Line. That Seahawks defense is the 3rd best in the league and they will Dak troubles. They are more playoff experienced and equipped under Pete Carroll. I have them winning this game 

If you like big time defense then this the game for you. The Bears are playing on home court, which is extremely deadly given the amount of noise the fans will make, for it is their first time in this situation since 2010. Nick Foles is playing banged up and this O-Line can not this tank of a defense. Once Nick Foles get hit in his ribs, he's out. While I am not counting on him injured, Eagles have not seen a defense like the Chicago Bears

Colts defense can not stop Patty Mahomes and the fighting Chiefs. I don't like the Chiefs at all, but I do think they will pull off a win here. I think the Colts defense is not enough to propel them to a win in this case. Chiefs take this game

Chargers win off a field goal in this game. You can never count Brady out in playoff games, but they do not have the juice this year. You can tell Gronk is not healthy, Tom is losing his juice, and without an explosive receiver in Josh Gordon, the next man up is Hogan, a decent receiver. I don't Edelman has the juice to make plays like he use to. The Chargers will be explosive offense and be very hard to beat defensively with stud Joey Bosa on the line. Chargers win

The Seahawks will give the Saints a run for their money in this game and I feel they could upset the Saints. But the Saints are too powerful offensively to let the Seahawks win. Seahawks are used to the noise and are used to hostile environments come playoff time. However it will take a lot to beat this powerful Saints team, and I think the problem will be offensively and running the ball. Saints win.

The Bears are looking to repeat what they did at Soldier Field! I feel they will do with that defense and that offense. Trubisky only kept them in the game last time because he was banged up from that shoulder injury and was rusty. Trubisky will HOPEFULLY be fully healthy and will have a way better game than he did last time. Goff will collapse under the defense just like last time, and the Bears will travel to the Dome to play the Saints

The Chargers will put respect under their name and win this game in a thriller. I think the Chargers are prepared even more and have the confidence to come in and beat the Chiefs. They have a more whole of a team and will beat the Chiefs. Remember, they beat them away last time, what is stopping them again but this time in a playoff situation! The Chargers will win!

The Saints have played tough offensive teams. Never have they played a defensive minded team that caused one of the best offensive minded coaches and offenses in the Rams to get blown away. Brees will struggle in this game, throwing only a touchdown pass and 1 interception. However the problem in Chicago lies with experience. Trubisky has never played this much of an important game in his life, and in a loud stadium where he seemed to not see the play clock in Minnesota, I think our issues will stem here. The Saints will be exploited, but in the end, Bears will lose the game more than the Saints will win it as both QBs will only score 1 TD pass.

Los Angeles will make a great run in the playoffs, but the Saints are too much offensively. Their defense is great, but not enough for Brees to get flustered by. With Chargers inexperience and just not being able to compete overall, Brees will get his 2nd ring and cement himself into the Pro Football Hall of Fame

Without a doubt in my mind I can say that the Bears can beat the Saints home turf. The Steelers won the game overall. Bad coaching and JuJu's fumble caused them to lose that game. The refs made such garbage calls to favor the Saints, I think the Bears would beat the Saints. They showed in that game that a good defense than can pressure Brees and Thomas, can easily beat them. The Saints were exposed at their home court, but the football gods were on their side

Thick skinned moderation where only real shit gets banned or countless offenses get banned is the best thing we can for a site like DART. We need activity and we need some controversy now and then to boost activity. Once the activity is boosted, this can be a hub of all of your debate and forum needs. All we need is some activity and some things to keep going.

Thick Skinned Moderation keeps the site functioning. Letting drama happen and only taking action is what we need to survive. If every little hurt feeling gets banned, a decrease in activity would happen and this site would go down the toilet with no active members. Having lieniant thick skinned mods is KEY for success on the website.

So what can you do to improve yourself and grow thick skin

A) Dive deep. Someone calling you a cunt does not mean anything. They are, in all honesty, inmature

We need to set a line here between defending yourself and a threat... 

I think it is time to get a clear consensus what is a threat vs what is defending yourself, and how we can help mods determine bans or no bans, etc.

I am Dudz, the Server Functionality Director of DART's Discord! I want to take time to address the issue with COC and Discord Policy

I would like to take time to address our policy on Discord. A violation of a Discord specific rule will not result in a ban from DART itself, for things like bot abuse, mic spamming, etc, apply to discord. Action will be taken on that site.

Now regarding COC Violations in Discord chats.

First off you will be banned without a doubt on Discord for sure, as COC Policy still applies in Discord, minus swearing. If you dox someone on a DART Discord Server, you are doxxing someone on DART, as the Discord is OFFICIALLY CONNECTED TO DART! Any serious offense bannable on DART will result in a ban on DART.

This is a proposal to stop people from taking advantage of COC on Discord. Awaiting mod approval. I will be "modding" behaviors along with Vaarka on Discord, and we will work with mod team

If mods can approve this policy. It will be put into action ASAP

2=Bears. The Bears can beat any team on this list home and away except for the Saints. They have to play really well vs them and I don't think they are the 1 spot

4 and 5= The Chiefs got exposed for more holes than the Rams from the way I see things. Choking a 14pt lead to secure the division is huge, and to not finish big games because of your defense really scares me. Defense wins wings

7=Pats. They are old and a tired team. The Texans would beat them if the Steelers can

10=Colts. The Colts are a top NFL team in the league without a doubt. I think they deserve that top 10 spot after shutting out the cowboys

11=Cowboys. U GUYS SUCK LOL!!! When Zeke is stopped, Dak can't make big throws. You will get your ass kicked by any team that has a good run defense

15=Browns. A minor statement win for them. Future is bright. Expect top 10 next season!

Dear Friends of DART,

Recently, life has been hard for me in a sort of sense. I hit the bottom of life for some reason. I felt I had nothing. I felt worthless and felt I had no value. I felt no one would ever care about me. I talked to someone and they said that you should write poems and see how you feel. Well I started doing that and presenting them to people on Discord who said I should get them published. I read them to the school and I got raved views. Now, I am awaiting a response from a publishing company for my poems in a book. I don't think it will happen(considering my age and the odds of it happening are slim to none), I still feel very rewarded that someone took the time to read my poems

I feel hope in this world and this is just motivation to you that anything is possible. I am 15 years and went from a dark place in my life to now having hope! You can do anything!

Cardinals-Rosen seems to weak and not able to keep up with things. There only big win was vs an awful Packers team under McCarthey. They need young players and young everything

Falcons-This proves your lack of depth at secondary. Your seasons are done if you can't get better secondary

Ravens-offense is way to inconsistent and defense can't keep up with explosive offenses. Your year is not this year. Develop Lamar into and drop Flacco

Bills-You still suck. Develop the offense line and draft young receivers. Defense is not half bad

Panthers-Cam is overrated and is not a team player. Your team always choke and you need to draft receivers that are good. Funchess ain't getting you far

Bears-sometimes defense can win you games, but Trubisky needs to play better and have better games or else they ain't going far

Bengals-need to draft people to held with run defense.it is horrendous.. move on with dalton

Browns-promising young team with some stars. but you ain't making the playoffs be honest

Cowboys-defense is good, but it isn't going to win you games all the time. offense is good too. gotta draft more receivers and defensive studs

Broncos-defense is decent. way too inconsistent offensively. but they ain't making playoffs anyway

Lions-get rid of Stafford an draft a QB along with corners and you actually have a good team

Packers-have a chance to win some w/o McCarthey, but still need to draft defense players

Texans-you have not gotten a statement win yet. I can not trust you

Colts-need another statement win to prove yourselves

With DART going through some trouble recently with drama. I have now seen the issue with all the drama

It is selfishness

Selfishness is the root cause for drama on DART

Everyone is to blame for it, including myself. From Wylted, bsh1, to even the small member barely contributing, this has blown up because of selfishness.

This is more effective than reading a book

Without Alex Smith and good receivers, the Redskins can't compete. Too many injuries and too many bad players offensively that the #1 defense in the league can take advantage of. Offensive will come up strong. Bears win big. Also Sanchez may have to start #ButtFumble

If that defense is capable of stopping the Saints, I don't have a problem picking them over the Seahawks. The defense for the Seahawks is good with bigger names, but not as consistent as Dallas

Texans have too much offensive weapons on their team and prove they can get stuff done with. I have no issue taking them over the Ravens. The Ravens offense is very slow and Lamar can't rush when JJ Watt will sack you. The Texans D is underrated, they are a sleeper team, but watch out for Indy

Another rematch. The Chargers are a top team in the league, but the Chiefs are looking better. If they can clean house vs the Steelers in SNF, they can do so in a big time playoff game with weapons like Joey Bosa, Kenan Allen, and Melvin Gordon. Also look at Ekeler and Justin Jackson. Sleepers. Desmond King is a future star

Rams win 30-23

The Cowboys will put a hella of a fight versus a complete Rams defense. But they have a defense locked and loaded vs Zeke. It will be a great match, but Rams will come out on top

Bears win 17-10

The Cowboys defense locked down that offense with Brees. The Bears have a way better defense and a more stable offense than the Cowboys. I think with good playcalling and Trubisky playing great like he did vs the Lions and Bucs, they will pull off a major upset

Chargers win 38-24

Don't sleep on the Bolt. Without Kareem Hunt and a good RB crew, the Chiefs can only pass with Mahomes, and the Chargers have a good defense that can pressure the ball. Also with a horrible Chiefs defense, they can just run and pass and get all the points they need. Chargers are going ALL THE WAY!

Experience will win in this case. Texans are a sleeper, but they wont be the GOAT

The Rams are a more complete team and the Bears are not going to compete offensively. The Rams are stacked and are the best team in the NFL fmpov. They will get the job done and take home a NFC Title just because A. Bears lack XP and B. Not consistent offensively yet, Bears will be a super bowl contender soon tho.

What an epic win vs the Vikings. Listen I do not think the Chargers defense can win if the defense played that way vs the Vikings. The Pats always come up big in big games, so I have to give the win to Brady and the crew as they go to their 3rd straight Super Bowl
