We need to set a line here between defending yourself and a threat... 

I think it is time to get a clear consensus what is a threat vs what is defending yourself, and how we can help mods determine bans or no bans, etc.

Let's talk. This is important 

Here are my lines

Defending Yourself 
If someone initiates a fight and says something offense or disliking to you, you fire back at them with aggression

Ex:
Stoopid1 "Hey @stoopid2, dude your a cunt for saying that."
Stoopid2: "Stfu u bitch ur annoying"
Stoopid1: "Ur a squeaker liar"
Stoopid2: "You are liar and then (state point)"

Call Out
Call outs are initiated attacks on a person when they did nothing directly toward the person

Ex:

DebaterGuy1: "@DebaterGuy2. You are a hypocrite and a bitch cunt"
DebaterGuy2: "Lol, I never talked shit bro y u on my back"
DebaterGuy1: "You are a scumbag titty shit

I am stating fmpov that if someone calls out you out and you defend yourself by attacking back(not severly harrassment or anything like that), then it should not be looked into as an insta ban for the defender for they triggered YOU to retaliate

It's not a holiday without the family argument

I'll be inactive for a bit over holidays. It is only 1 day of me after today of this. Then I am basically out of your hair that entire week bc of social life, studying, etc.

I've encountered slander a couple times on this website, and I liked the message and the thought so I figured it was best to just let the criticism stand.  That worked out fine.  I don't see that there's any reason to act indecent if to set things straight really.  I hope people feel safe making their statements, and are able to grow from their mistakes in life.

You are completely altering what the 'defence' is. I replied in a defensive manner that bent the rules of CoC to combat people getting away with abusing me by breaking it.

This is all 3 bans what I did.

Bending the COC does not justify you calling someone something very vulgar in the sense. This forum is to discuss and debate what is deemed self defense and what is deemed threat

SupaDudz you may not see it but you are being utterly hypocritical if you support what you have suggested in this topic's Original Post and then don't say that my bans were all 3 wrong.
