A lot of times it comes down to what do you hold personally sensitive to yourself. Again if 99% don't carry bombs and 1% carry bombs why should the 99% have to suffer for the 1%?

Feminist support Muslim women's rights to present themselves in whatever way they choose to. Christian women often fight against that arguing that head coverings or face coverings etc are inappropriate. Feminist don't necessarily support the whole religion they support the woman within that religion to choose what they want to do with their life. Christian women often fight that all women should carry their own value and moral system and if they don't then they're whores or they're disgusting.

My religion basically states how you're supposed to worship the gods in that pantheon and a little on how you should live. It does not address religions outside itself. I can say I can't think of any of the gods that I've interacted with in that pantheon that are tolerant of Christianity. There's one person in particular who's an author within the community who goes as far to say that the ancestors that actually converted to Christianity while practitioners were being killed are not worthy of honoring during typical ancestor worship. Those that were born into the religion that might not have known any different that's a whole other ball of wax but those that converted instead of standing up for the gods are considered dishonored ancestors. But she's not exactly a popular author within the community.

Free Will is contradictory an omniscient God and it's contradictory to life in general whether and omniscient God exists. Freedom is one thing. Free Will is another entirely. If we had free will then we could make whatever choices we want and follow through on them. We can't for all sorts of reasons money, attitude, upbringing, place of birth, type of government in our country. There's a reason  psychology exist because people are predictable animals. We rarely if ever change and we really with ever step outside our comfort zone. You're freedom lets you to make choices in regards to what you eat, who you marry, if you have kids, in some way where you live and what you do. Free will to make any choice you want to, at any time, no matter what, does not exist. We are slaves to nature and nurture.

If you don't want to worship a god don't, if you don't want to be in a religion don't. If you don't want to engage with theists, don't. It's honestly that simple. Pretty sure that last statements sums up Buddhism except they believe in a soul. You don't have to believe in that either. Organized religion is just a concept it's a thing it wouldn't exist without members what you're trying to say is the members of organized religion are evil. If you're going to come and do a post be honest about it.

Since the purposes of establishing degrees in murders have to do with intent since it was the intent for both of them to make the second person dead, through the planning I would find them guilty of the same offense as far as I'm concerned. As a jury member I would vote first degree for both of them.

Either the president's office has power or it's just basically a position that allows that particular member to do things other members can't do to help out and initiate new members that kind of thing. From what's come up the last week or so it sounds to me like RM's been doing things like that for a while now. He's obviously been advocating for members with the mods and he has a plan to bring membership in. I don't hear any of the other people talking about anything they're going to do to stimulate the debate area of the website or to make the forms more palatable. Granted he tends to take things personally, he pretty much has everybody blocked, and yet he still very helpful around the site and the membership.

Many polytheist traditions have fates, or a concept of fate, usually consisting of three female entities that control and guide people's lives. So could we please quit saying theists and say monotheist because if we're going to sit around and talk about crap we should at least be accurate about it. But I know every time I bring up being accurate about various theological concepts people say it really doesn't matter because basically only the monotheist count. But again if you're going to talk about the world of Harry Potter and you bring up Luke Skywalker you're going to look like an idiot. Fiction or not being accurate and what you're talking about matters.

I don't worry about cowards and what they do behind my back. Never said you were banning anybody. I said what I said, I was clear about what I said. And the mods would be even more unnecessary cuz they don't do anything now. Turns out that basically anyone that's been banned from the religion forum is because RM stepped in and did something about it not because the mods gave a s*** about the site. So like I said it'll be cute to see what happens.

You have to keep in mind that the atheist who post  think all their posts are on the up and up and only the theist posts violate the rules. The reason there was such a huge influx of atheists that left the site this time last year was because the mods basically said we're going to crack down on everybody and they left before it happened because they didn't want to be penalized. This is why they no longer touch atheists in the religion forum.  They don't want them leaving cuz without them there's no arguing in the religion form which is what they need. 

It's a way for the atheist to hang out in the religion forum and basically ignore all the theist and talk s*** about them and when confronted they can say but we have them on ignore they can't read what I'm saying.

You're not a moderator quit addressing people's post like you are one.

This President thing's been going on for 2 to 3 weeks I don't understand why now somebody thinks they should get to throw their name in the hat. 

I love how all these people who aren't mods constantly throw themselves into threads and start bossing everyone around and telling them what to do.

Sort of.  Monotheist are atheists to all other religions. 

Atheists can't tell their family how really feel about theists. They vent here so they don't accidentally tell someone they love  are morons.

My father advised me when I was 15 any man that brags about anything he does sexually is a liar and that advice has been shown to be very accurate so I'm sure you're quite adept. There's another reason for all the other men to vote for you as President, good idea to bring it up.

Or people could be forced to go by the rules that the site put so much effort into having people vote on and then install. Again I completely stand by my post that this is a boys club filled with white atheist  men who are basically here to be pricks to other people. That is supported over and over again and that is why the site will never grow and not just won't get females, it's why the site will NEVER grow and the same 30 to 40 people post here since the beginning.

Actually that's the most unemotional post that I've made in the last 2 weeks. It's scary to think the way that you people understand how women's bodies work that any of you are married, have daughters or have mothers. Or at least I should say I hope you don't because those women are probably severely abused, at least mentally.

If this thread does not show you that this website is a boys club for white, atheist, misogynist who don't want the site to get bigger because then they might have to do their job then you're too stupid to be on the internet. There's a reason that after all this time there's only the same 30 to 40 people who post regularly. You should just change the name of the site from debate art to some animal you know like the Moose the Elks and the Lions club. Where you get together, drink, make fun of people and pat on their back for being arrogant white guys.

Never happen. Ragnar likes the way the forum is crap. He basically said it in a post a year ago. Mods don't want the do anything in general, especially not in the most active forum. If ever reprimanded the atheists would leave, they already lost half about a year ago when they left for a new site.  About the time I was banned to try and keep them. Year later nothing has changed. 

I don't know why you keep saying you're welcome cuz it doesn't solve the f****** but honestly I just don't expect anything else from here it's just. Basically a certain group of people are allowed to act a certain way and a certain group of people have to take it and I don't have time for it honestly I've got bigger s*** going down right now I really don't care. They don't exist on this site obviously. I mean it's in the rules but nobody does anything with it. I mean if you actually block a person in their profile all that does is keep them from tagging you in a response. So it's a f****** joke it's just there to look good the moderators don't follow up on it.

So now I got to take a class on computers and come up with a program to block their post instead of a moderator doing their job and saying quit asking the question seriously that's the response from management. Jesus f****** Christ.

No I don't have to f****** answer any question I don't want to just cuz I'm on a forum. There's a rule that when you ask someone not to address it with you anymore that they're supposed to stop. Now I find out that rule is you have to do an official request for a restraining order and then you're never allowed to post in a topic they post and you're never allowed to post after them in a topic. Maybe what the mods should do is actually do their job and tell people that person's told you not to quit harassing them regarding that question, knock it off it's been over six posts and 23 times he's asked me about it. To say that he's not being excessive but I am is b******* and if that's the case then don't do anything but don't have a rule saying you'll do something when you will not.

Could you imagine if one of us posted something about child rape over and over again.

He blew me off told me he wasn't going to do anything I just needed to not post so I'm officially asking for the moderators to do something

So the rules say if you tell someone you don't want to engage with them on something and and they do it, it's against the rules. I was informed that in order for me to quit having Stephen ask me the same question almost 23 times after I said I was done talking about it over five different topics that I have to get an official restraining order and that I'm not allowed to engage in his post or talk to him in any, way shape or form. So since that's the only way to quit having him follow me around the religion form asking me to answer a question I told him I was done talking about I'm officially requesting the restraining order. At this point of Stephen chooses to engage with me in any way I hope there's some kind of consequence for it cuz at this point it just looks like the person that told me this plays favorites in the religion form and the atheists are their favorites. All that really needed to be done was for him to be told not to continue to ask me the same question now I have to completely restrict how I post in the one forum I posted because the mods don't want to do their job. So the request is now made.

Power is taken in many ways. Unfortunately religion is one way.
