The Christian religion at its core is nothing but a theft. They took the Jewish god and Roman Hellenistic principles and mesh them together to make a religion that would unite the people because it was easier for them to take over with a unified religion than allowing people to continue to practice their own faith.

You can't abuse a function set by the site.

There are only two things the block feature does: one, it does not allow people to directly reply to you and two, people cannot PM you. Those that use the block feature if you were to ask them have been harassed via PM by members of the forum so they've reached a point where they block people they feel might harass them. There are also members of this forum whose stalk members, harass all their posts and harass them with personal insults. The staff allow this to happen so the block function is used. There's absolutely nothing in the rules that says once a person's blocked that they cannot reply to you or continue to engage with you. If you don't understand the purpose of the block function maybe you shouldn't talk about it. If you want the function of the block button changed then suggest it in the proper forum.

There's absolutely nothing in the Old Testament that indicates that the God of Abraham would be willing to share power with any other beings. Not Jesus, not the Holy Spirit, he commands every being in the Old Testament. He would never allow two other beings to be of equal status with him, never.

There is not a single indication in the Old Testament of virgin births. Being born to a god is a Roman concept and was brought into Christianity via the Roman polytheist myths.

Because whole cultures and continents of people don't worship the God of Abraham. Because whole religions that have more than one god in them exist on the planet. Because Christians and Muslims treat non-Christians and non-Muslims like pieces of human garbage. The only people more insulting to people who don't believe like them than atheists are Christians and Muslims. Christians do not have special status in the United States or any other Western country. They are considered one of many religions to have freedom so there's no reason that polytheist or people with spiritual paths that do not contain a deity don't get to have conversations about spirituality.

Are video games and movies free? They can show violence. Should we not allow documentaries that show the atrocities of war? Why do people think because they don't like something or they won't engage in something it should just be illegal and no one should be allowed to participate in it.

Recently had one of those audit videos come across my Facebook. I have been shocked at the attitude of police officers with American citizens doing nothing wrong. I have been shocked at the number of videos of white people calling the police on black people for being a house or in a yard or in a car on their street because they're not used to seeing black people in their neighborhood. Pulling black people over for going to work early in the morning or on a street they don't expect to see a black person. The police have reached a point where they feel like they don't have to justify what they do to anyone, they don't have to care about rights,  when they tell you to do something you do it whether they're right or wrong and they don't care if they kill people. This has come down from those that develop training to those that are sergeants so until they fix it they're going to they're going to be corrupt.

When discussing topics that I might not have a lot of information on or don't know a lot about sure. When it comes to bigger moral issues and social issues not usually. I am over 50 plenty well set in how I feel about certain things. Not going to all of a sudden give up my morals because somebody said hey I don't agree with you.

I've certainly said this before but none of those atheist posts here. It's all those hardcore there's no afterlife, there's no deity, there's no magic, there's no such thing as energy work, you're retarded, you don't think properly, you're stupid, we're more advanced than you b*******. 

I think the problem isn't clarifying a lack of belief or more than a lack of belief. The problem is clarifying the difference between atheist with no spiritual practice and atheist who have a spiritual practice. There is a very big difference between an atheist with no spiritual practice and say someone who is involved in witchcraft who is an atheist or animism and is an atheist. Or is Buddhist and is an atheist. There are traditions or spiritual practices that involve belief in an afterlife, spirit, magic, energy work and involve prayer or ritual. Those practices do not incorporate or require a belief in a deity. But certain atheists would not consider those people atheist and certain theists would not consider those people atheist. But they most certainly are. Those atheists are completely different than the atheist that often post here on this form and represent atheism. Most of the atheists who post on this forum believe in no afterlife, believe there is no spirit, believe there is no magic, believe there is no such thing as energy work. They are completely devoid of any spiritual practice at all other than maybe meditation, yoga or martial arts. This is where I think the argument is coming in from monotheists. If you don't believe in their one god then you're an atheist. Even if you're a theist. So they're certainly are qualifiers that come after the word atheist but at the core if someone says I'm atheist the only thing you should assume at that point is they have no belief in a deity or deities. If you want clarification then you need to ask them further do you believe in anything or practice anything spiritual. Then you'll find out if they're the hardcore atheist unaccepting of anything they haven't experienced themselves or if they're an atheist open to spiritual practices. There's a huge difference in the way you'll be treated.

There is absolutely nothing that says a masculine woman or a feminine man needs to label themselves. When someone refers to themselves as male or female it had to do with the sex they feel they identify with. If you're a woman but you're a tomboy then you are a woman and if you're not calling yourself that that's your own fault. Oh I have to label myself is absolute b******* I don't have to go up to anybody and say oh I'm a woman or oh I'm a man or oh you can refer to me as they. And no one asked me that. So she's a tomboy but she's a woman and she feels like she has to label herself as either a man or as a masculine woman then that's her own fault and she needs to get a new circle of friends that don't force her into labeling herself.

There is no difference between intentional gun use to kill and drink driving or driving into a crowd. There are accidents with both cats and guns that produce injury and/or death. It's totally reasonable

My brother and his wife are both retired veterans and they would never suggest people don't arm themselves. Their experiences led them to believe the government's capable of anything. 

Imagine thinking you actually are a more advanced human being than the number of people on the planet simply because their personal experience has led them to believe there is something after this life whether it's God or an afterlife. Imagine not trusting yourself so much that you think you have the right to say to other people they should not trust what they feel and experience because it's not your experience and that makes you wrong and beneath them. Now imagine that person trying to say they're more moral, more intelligent and more accepting of other people than you because of that belief. It's hypocrisy and it's self-loathing and it's bigotry. 

All atheists think that all theists are liars. All atheists think that theists are sub-human. All atheists are bigots. And the posts in this forum and the philosophy forum and the political forum back that up.

Atheists are bigots, there's not really much more that needs to be said. Does it make them cowards? It makes them hateful. There's very little difference between a post made by an atheist and one made by a monotheist.
