I think Islamic societies lean more toward the second list, but the religion, Islam itself tends more towards the first. But that's not the point, because the first set is more characteristic of liberals,they are going to be less Islamophobic, conservatives are more intolerant of different beliefs, cultures, etc.
I get the point you are trying to make, but I think it makes my point rather than yours. You think because Muslim countries are generally more like the second list that liberals should be more Islamophobic, but it's conservatives that see the differences between Muslims and themselves and reject based on those differences, liberals are inclined to inclusion when they see differences, even when the differences line up with conservative values.

The fact is that liberals are no less Islamophobic than are conservatives.
The fact is that liberals are much more likely to be "politically correct".
They are more likely to be in "lockstep".
They are more likely to not want to be seen as Islamophobic.
Conservative are mush more likely to act on the facts rather than feelings.
They are more likely to act in ways that fit the situation, rather than what fits theory.
They are less likely to care about how they are perceived by the liberals.
