I think the solution is probably for people with Western values to unite under Christian values, probably orthodoxy or catholicism so you can go to war with Islam under the banner of religious freedom...Until Islam is wiped out you can't really unite secular people... I think sensible atheists...it's why you have people...cultural Christians.

My sister was a hardcore liberal until she got into the church and it wrecked part of her mind but made another part of her mind more sensible...think of power vacuums...Neither ideology is prepared to deal with the spread and threat of radical Islam.

...I think that once again it is just going to take Christians to beat back this threat and then we can worry about transitioning people to rationalism after the threat is taken care of, or we can just look at Christianity as a necessary evil that's existence stops the spread of the woke mind virus and keeps radical Islam in check.

Christianity isn't a necessary evil omg wow but i think that's another topic.

I do agree that cultural christians are most likely aware of the threat of Islam. I'm sure you have ideas but you could also follow in the footsteps of history. Satellite vassal states of Wallachia, Armenia and parts of Austria had their unique methods when the then Ottoman Empire initiated massive conversion programs. Christian brides were married to muslim men in massive numbers, but most retained their love for Jesus when they were buried. Some had even bribed funeral officials to avoid ottoman oversight. Austria also, at the time, enlisted huge numbers of austrian actors and they offered generous pay on conditions of hosting weekly entertainment theatre about how disgusting Muhammad was. They wrote poetry, songs and plays which parodied Muhammad's life as a sexual rapist, slaver and over-analytical narcissist.

It's interesting you describe it this way, but honestly it seems more true than you may realize. The book of revelation speaks of a one world religion. It speaks of beheading Christians who essentially opt out of paying jizya.

I can see a lot of similarities to the religion and the one world religion prophesied
Well, the Quran also prophesized correctly Jews' attempt at improving their standing on the international stage. It also talked about Jews' attempt at peacemaking and firing from afar.

Even though the prophesies are true, the only reason Islam has not delivered any punishment on the jews or christians is because...

Allah doesn't exist, and Muhamamd was a paedophile.

It is baffling that your average far-right leadership is cowering to Islam.
I don't disagree that politicians are cowards and opportunists.

This is maybe going to be the difference between me and you. I see Islam as a threat and stupid and quite obviously false.

However atheistic Jews have an issue of promoting stuff like open borders, homesexuality, etc. And are always at the forefront of any large social push for degeneracy. They for example are the biggest producers of porn, they help produce gangster rap and they have taken control of many institutions.

Theistic Jews I can give a pass to but the atheistic ones are harming society and Islams critiques if the social decay that has accompanied this are fair.

Congrats on your recent conversion to Christianity by the way. I probably would have phrased my earlier responses differently had I known of it. I thought I was talking to an atheist and did not want my points to be missed by presupposing Christianity as true in our communications

I'm not well versed in demographics and their political tendencies. I've only ever read stuff like Milton, Pascal, Anselm, Aquinas and others. I'm a bit too hermit-like, but okay, I do hear you.

Theistic Jews I can give a pass to but the atheistic ones are harming society and Islams critiques if the social decay that has accompanied this are fair.
Whether it's fair for the Quran to stereotype jews is up for debate. I've had christian friends in singapore visit israel and i imagine they'd take an interest into something like that. I've never had an interest, and i'll just leave it as that.

What I'm trying to say is Islam's limited understanding of Judaism is obvious. Muslims await the last and final coming of Allah's prophesy: destroying the jews. There is no greater command than this, because almost all of the prophesies are fulfilled, no matter how ridiculous they sound.

For example, Clerics will cite quranic verses about how Jews love proclaiming that they are peacemakers, when in fact they kill Gaza children willingly. In certain passages, Jews will also love to shoot muslims from afar, yet Jews claim truce falsely. These acts of betrayal prompted Allah to send countless amounts of prophets to remind them, until so much so that an inert stone could utter curses on jews. These types of prophesies are already ticked off a typical muslim's checklist. What I'm trying to say is that the origins of said prophesies are stupid. It's like saying the sun rises only to worship Allah tomorrow, and the sun is also a large piece of boiling rotten apple to remind us that adam had betrayed god by eating the forbidden fruit. Both are pretty stupid, but the claim of it being a rotten apple is an even stupid and ridiculous position.

Muhammad was high on war and sex. He made these prophesies around the same time his "soft jihad" (preaching without war) failed to convince the surrounding jews and christians. He was offended, and then proceeded to do stupid things like "the jews will betray you" etc etc.

Congrats on your recent conversion to Christianity by the way. I probably would have phrased my earlier responses differently had I known of it. I thought I was talking to an atheist and did not want my points to be missed by presupposing Christianity as true in our communications
Oh, I see that, I'm curious now.

Well, I was an atheist, and straddled the two competing lines a bit for some time, but I'm finally in Christianity for the long haul.

So, i want to ask you a few things.

What do you think about christian dhimmis who willingly accept Sharia law and christian protestants who willingly support israel? In your opinion, are they hypocrites for holding these positions?

In your opinion, is Christianity a force for good?

Cowards or perhaps the option is death or obeying.

They are probably hypocrites but not necessarily so. Perhaps they see Israel as the lesser of 2 evils or perhaps they think it's in America or whatever nation they are it's best interest to support Israel. I won't judge then too harshly.

In your opinion, is Christianity a force for good?
Yes, one of the things that has made me start considering what version of Christianity to follow is Jesus's statement to judge a tree by the fruit it bears and though ai am not catholic or orthodox, I am co sideline converting for that reason though I want to dig deeper into Constantine before I do

Well, I see you are also as religious as your father (or maybe very nationalist).

You appear to not see the whole picture. This conflict didn’t start in Oct 17, there is a long history among Israel and the muslim countries that began in the very moment the Israeli state was created. In fact, at that time there wasn't islamic extremism, the yihad didn’t even exist. All of it started with Israel and the intrusion of the US in this region. But I don't want to discuss about politics since this is a religious forum.

What I want to correct from my previous comment is that the Palestinians are not the only victims in these conflict but all the civilians in these territories, either Palestinians or Israelis who are pleading for the cease fire.

I think you should honestly check the fact that you currently have higher standards for aisrael then you do Hamas or any other terrorist organization they are fighting. The higher standards are an admission that you realize that Israel is morally superior and more likely to listen to reason.
I don't expect anything from Israel because they are taken over by zionists, they are the same shit as the Ayatollah. Do you think Israel is run by secular people? that's not true, even israelis don’t like the current government because it's becoming more conservative and authoritarian. Israel is not the hero, nor the muslim countries are the vilains.

As I told Lemming, this conflict should be analyzed from a historical point of view. The state of Israel was created by the zionists to be precise and with the help of the almighty United States. Most of the Christians in this forum are ignoring the fact that the jews have been taking decisions unilaterally when it comes to deal with Palestine which means they dont give a fuck about what Palestinians think. They don't even give a fuck about Biden's warnings so what can I tell you? Lol.

Another misunderstanding about this conflict is that people think Israel have been treating the Palestinians fairly.  This is not true at all, there has been a long history of mistreatment, abuse and discrimination from the israelis.

In normal circunstances I wouldn't give a crap about this conflict, I would let them kill each other, but this is different. Israel have nuclear weapons and the media is talking about Iran's first nuclear bomb tests. So, I analyze the conflict not only looking back in the past but also looking forward in the future. This is not going to end well if the old man you have as president doesnt stop this insanity.

I agree the situation is more complicated than just the current last couple years.

I am somewhat to strongly nationalist.
I say somewhat, because I often think America is too much of a mixed bag of groups,
But even with that, we mostly hold similar laws, same government, military, same oaths (Generally speaking).

How do you define religion/religious?

I 'did note in #9, you stated
"being religious is more like being political."

That I thought we might have different perceptions or definitions of religious.

In the times of the ancients religion was political. Hence the reams of laws in Deuteronomy.

Don't try to intellectualize this. Just take a look. Go through every part of this site. See if it speaks to you.

If you go through that site and still tell me that Hamas is not the bad guys or try to continually call this a war on Palestinians and not Hamas then just go fuck yourself.

You won't go through the site though because you know the horror is real and you are trying to protect yourself and feel justified in laying the bulk of the blame of this war on the victim. A victim that was bombarded with rockets even before that event and yet turned the other cheek when any other country would ha e invaded with even one rocket attack, America included.

C'mon, man, I've never said Hamas are not the bad guys. I know pretty well what happened that day. I was saying basically that violence that comes from religious extremism will only generate more violence. Muslims have the yihad, the jews the "an eye for an eye, a tooth for a tooth", nothing good can come of this.

But let's do a mental exercise to see what the future can hold. If Satanyahu, prime minister of Israel, goes on with his plan of destroying the islamic extremism in the middle east with the help of the United States, that is going to escalate into a regional war. Do you think the other muslim countries are not going to help out? They sure will. As a consequence, the strait of Hormuz will get closed and that will cause an oil financial crisis worldwide. Biden should be very careful about what is going to do next because he can fuck all of us.

Finally, I don't want to sound like a bird of ill omen but I heard from some seers that this conflict will escalate anyway. I also heard that the israli state is going to disappear. If you asked me about it I would say this is the only solution I foresee for this conflict. Israel should disappear and muslims should solve the problem of islamic extremism by themselves.

Religion is the institutionalized way to mass control through dogmas, rituals and vane hope.

That's why most people are leaving the churches because they're beginning to realize that religion is a lie and instead they are taking on spirituality which is more of a personal search, people are free to choose what is beneficial for them.

Cowards or perhaps the option is death or obeying.
Christian dhimmis only make around 1% of the population in most muslim countries, but they make tv appearances regularly. I found a show in indonesia shamelessly broadcasting how their resident christians love being ruled under Sharia. They even testify live on tv about how sharia lets them pray. In addition, with some tweaking, I also found a similar show broadcasting the same type of drivel in Egypt.

Christian Dhimmis are the same as a Muslim Kuffar in my opinion. Ilhan Omar may drink cocktails and shake hands with a man, but as long as that creature sanitize muhammad, she and the dhimmis remain disgusting to me. The least that a Kuffar can do is disown muhammad, and the least that a dhimmi can do is write hidden written testimonies about how dangerous a sharia-led lifestyle is. That's exactly what happened in Ottoman Armenia. Christian brides refusing to speak in favor islam so much so they even devote considerable time to bury themselves with the cross.

Poverty isn't an excuse. As I understand it, Armenia wasn't a powerhouse like Austria was and it had a terrible track record in resisting Ottoman Supremacy. Still, Christians did well there not to shove fuel to the fire by being a disgusting Sharia spokeswoman.

They are probably hypocrites but not necessarily so. Perhaps they see Israel as the lesser of 2 evils or perhaps they think it's in America or whatever nation they are it's best interest to support Israel. I won't judge then too harshly.

They won't because what you don't understand is it is written in the Quran and they won't stop until they dominate the world.

This is why the crusades happened. They were enslaving Christians and abusing them.

Israel won't disappear. It's just wishful thinking..  Russia will at some point launch a nuke at it, but some unknown technology will intercept the nuke. This will make the world scared and they will sign a 7 year peace treaty with Israel, this will be followed by the rise of the anti chest and 7 years of trials and tribulations. Israel does not disappear though because the Wailing wall exists where the two witnesses will return

You brought up prophecy so I thought it might be fun to as well. Yes it is from the bible but more specifically from the various interpretations of those prophecies by Jerry b Jenkins and Tim laheye

Well, I take the prophecies very seriously as long as they come from a reliable source. So, the prophecy of no nuclear war is true according to my sources.

For sure, prophecies are easy if one interprets pertinent data rationally.

Though there's no saying that irrational people will not behave irrationally.

Not forgetting that irrationality is an occurrent factor and nothing more than an opposing point of view.

Though hopefully just about all will recognise that global nuclear war is a tad daft.

To be honest, the no nuclear war prophecy is actually a promise of the fucking aliens. Many contactees state that the aliens have already accepted the human species in the extraterrestrial community so any attempt to launch a nuclear bomb will be deactivated.

As I stated in many threads and comments, all the prophesies for these changing times are pure catastrophe aiming to reset the human species (destroy to start over). Though, the human species apparantely passed the tests and the aliens decided to not do so. I'm really not sure what these tests are about and what the current humans have done to deserve to not be destroyed but this is apparently what the future holds.

Well, if you read my stuff you will no doubt be aware of two hypotheses I promote.

1. Extra-terrestrial seeding

2. The significance of Earth based intelligence, in respect of universal evolution.

Not forgetting hypothesis No.3.

Everything is pure chance and nothing really matters.

Nothing  prophetic about such thoughts.

Well.

Certainly if such a scenario occurred, then one could validate the alien hypothesis.

But one would need to establish if they or their ancestors had in fact been here before.

Firstly learning how to communicate, of course.

I've already met the dhimmis and kuffars in Muslim majority countries. I think you have a chance of meeting Kuffars in the US though.  You can definitely judge them. What would you think about them popularizing islam in a wholesome way? I think It's like Victimhood Nazism from one of Hitler's speeches. I might be too extreme though. You have a better hand at judging this since i know you live in the US. What's your opinion?

You mentioned they will go on TV and say stuff like "it is so nice living under Sharia law because I can pray"

It's disgusting. Whay society would ban anyone from praying? What are Muslims comparing themselves to?
I'm sure you know this, but I'll just say it in a forum for everyone else. Islam guarantees independent Christian courts and churches at the cost of speech, proselytization and wholesale publication of their faith. Polytheists are not afforded the same rights though. So technically, a hindu/buddhist has less rights than a dhimmi. And, the expansion of churches is also harshly banned, but dhimmis often resort to clever ways of bypassing. For example, they've made literal underground churches. Years of living under this environment has softened their look on Islam, considering how lifestyles in muslim countries are all geared toward befriending Islam.

Even the Chinese won't stop you from praying and they are pretty oppressive towards religion in general.

I wonder if there are people in North Korea right now who are like "Kim Jung Un is not so bad, he allows me over 20 minutes to take a shit".
Well, the only reason they're not as cruel as islam is because islam has failed in its East Asia Project. Arabs were forceful in their preaching, and they forced the Chinese and Japanese to adopt circular dome mosques. Obviously, you know asians like Intelligence. Chances are he's the same person even if he lived in Medieval China 1000 years ago. I think he'd probably be the first person to scream at the CCP if things like this ever happens again. Lol. You'd have a greater chance of preaching christianity tbh in China. You'd make bank lol.

There are probably north koreans who think like that, but I'm betting life under Kim Jong Un is better than life under authentic Islam. I know it's apostate bias.

If you could convince Muslims to take that sort of interpretation of Islam it might be fine but converting new people even to that form of Islam is problematic due to the fact that at least some of those people will begin to study the Quran on their own and figure out the correct interpretation and become terrorists.

Christianity is popular in China and North Korea despite being banned somehow. So yeah

As long as important intellects are developing stuff, then the other 8 billion or so can jabber on and fight to their hearts content.

Though it's far to suggest that evolution requires both.
