So if we’re at one of joebob and wylted being scum, here’s some points for both.

Joebob:

Scum-
- has a redirect role when there is already one in the graveyard
- weirdly paraphrased it as a protection functionality when first explaining it
- claimed a wierd role after being pressured

Town-
- he came out with his results after Wylted claimed to have tracked earth, and he had considerable time to see Wylted claim that. As scum I’d imagine he would be more careful with his results to make sure they don’t implicate him. Placing himself in a 1 v 1 scenario doesn’t benefit him if scum. All this could be chalked up to being a noob mistake I guess but if that’s the case then we just assume his partner is either inactive (Austin, savant) or maybe a noob (who else really fits into that category in this game anymore?).

Wylted:

Scum- 

-claimed a power role very fast with little pressure to explain earth being visited as if it would town confirm him

Town-

-tracker isn’t a super uncommon investigative role and it’s more than likely one exists in the game
- claiming tracker and his np1 results is pretty ballsy as scum (this almost works against him
Though because Wylted plays very ballsy as scum).


Of the two I am placing a lot of stock into the wifom argument of Jordon’s town side and a lot of stock into the wifom of wylted being ballsy as scum which is leading me to scum read wylted. My guy read on him from earlier also doesn’t help as he was scum reading Whiteflame who I currently believe to be town. Also I feel like at least one scum has to be among the more active people which wylted is one of.

I am leaning towards wylted on this one.

Just forewarning. I am not sure how this is going to turn out, but I am not going to comply with a moderator request to blur RMs username in my most recent youtube video. 

I would gladly blur his name if he personally asked me to and came at me in a respectful way, but he attempted to get his way by bullying, instead of through more diplomatic means. So I will not comply. I wish you guys all the best, if this does not turn out well, and if the mods make that decision, do not protest it. They are doing their best and we just disagree with something. 
As whiteflame has said, there has been zero discussion of any bans, nor does any part of the situation merit such discussions.

Is anyone else bothered by Owen just wanting so badly to keep providing information for free. Honestly if a joebob lynch is off the table I would want to vote him. 

I don't think it will come down to that because it looks like everyone thinks either me or joebob have to be scum, but if we can't lynch joebob I would be down for owen

It’s a new player habit, usually takes more than a few games for that to wear off. Savant, joebob, Casey, moozer all do it. They don’t want to seem like they aren’t willing to comply with town and generally view the dominant voices as more town than they are like to be skeptical of them.

I think you've laid out the case well. One thing you didn't mention is that scum were able to ask about two roles. That places their claims in a distinctly different light.

WyIted as scum could have asked about the existence of a Tracker in the game. It's a ballsy choice for a question that eliminates any risk on the claim. His choice of target might be viewed as confirmation, but as soon as Earth confirmed that he had been visited, it strongly suggested that Earth didn't visit anyone (I'm going to avoid speculating on the "why" of that on the off-chance that scum haven't figured out his role yet), so WyIted had a relatively safe way to confirm that he had visited Earth and claim that he hadn't moved. In general, WyIted's responses to me came off as opportunistic, since it seemed like he was trying to use my argument - that I'd at least be less likely to scumread the person who visited Earth if they outed this DP - to his advantage. 

As for JoeBob's Compulsive Intercepter, while that's obviously not the type of role he would ask about directly, it does come off as the type one might come up with if scum asked about a role and was told that it was in the game, since it's a relatively safe claim. The problem with that is, if scum came up with a somewhat convoluted role like this and then saw the flip from Casey, I have a hard time believing that they would then just decide to go ahead and claim it. It's not like JoeBob just rocked into this DP and claimed quickly, he took quite a while to consider it and says he asked Pie about the role, both of which initially had me on edge about him. I'm not sure what he was uncertain of or what he asked Pie that resulted in his belief that the role is "more useless than i thought", but what that time didn't change was his willingness to claim the role. Maybe he is scum and he just resigned himself to claiming it, but that doesn't explain why he'd then proceed to contradict WyIted's claim, which necessarily puts him in the crosshairs if WyIted were to flip town. It's just a weird position to put himself in as scum.

Heads up, I'm going to be on a couple of flights in a few hours, so I'm likely not going to be posting until late tonight after that.

In the meantime, while I am absolutely fine with the lynch being between WyIted and JoeBob at this point, I think there's value in seeking more information. The lack of activity from Owen and Austin make them particularly relevant for this from where I'm sitting, but no one else seems interested for some reason. Can someone else explain their thoughts on this? We don't have that many role claims at this point.

That's fucking rude. You have been absent all dp and we can not afford to have only people who vote like 4 times a day.  It is imperative we do not lose the only member of town who is not a complete moron. We need to vote out joebob.

Look we have not mislynched yet. If we are wrong we get Joebob next DP, but I happen to know for a fact I am town. 8 don't necessarily buy that either me or ajoebob have to be scum, but I so strongly scum read him that I am willing to trade my life for his.

In all likelihood he did not like how I came at him dp1 and he knew that he was the lynch Dap2 almost certainly unless he made some sort of hail Mary play. 

Let's just get joebob out. We don't need to be fighting about this and splitting votes over it, like we did during dp1 where we couldn't lynch joebob because so many people were on the Earth wagon

It's also a common scum tactic to claim a variation of a flipped role knowing it is a safe fake claim. Town what deflector and reflector or whatever his role is called. I have seen it 100 times, a doctor flips so they claim a soft Dr role like bodyguard.  

This is obviously scum and he either knew he would be lynched so tried a hail Mary play or legitimately scum slipped and did not realize my role would contradict his results

am very sorry that I haven't had much time to play, dealing with some family stuff.

Wylted is really towny from the posts that I read, I haven't seen him be this self-righteous as scum. Joebob also doesn't really seem interested in pushing him which is what I would expect to see from someone who KNOWS another person is scum.

Looking back through the posts, Wyted has made a seemingly legitimate effort to scum hunt. His reasoning for JoeBob in the last DP also makes sense. I'll VTL Joebob for now.

Just because you got 3 votes on me, that were for a full claim mind you, doesn’t mean I was gonna get lynched.

I revealed who I targeted after I full claimed, the same full claim that almost everyone unvoted for. If I was scum, why the fuck would I put myself in the spotlight again?
