I apologize for vanishing all day - I’ve spent a lot of the day staring at a screen for work and trying to focus on this DP to boot is giving me a headache. I’ll revisit this when I’m off for the day and see if I’m able to get any behavioral reads.

Lynching me dp1 is a huge gamble that doesn't even make sense. The odds are very strong that I did not lie about my game, which allows you to narrow down my role. Shouldn't be difficult to determine if I am scum later on based on what roles they have and whether they match up with the scum roles in US Senate Mafia.

...seriously, why would you claim with two votes on you if that's your role? I'm not doubting that you're actually the cop because, frankly, you'll be CC'd if you aren't (I've looked through the games and a lot of them have a cop), but you shouldn't be claiming with two votes on you if that's your role since that necessarily makes you a target for the NP. I get that refusing to claim might have gotten more votes on you, but you would have been better off saying you could effectively confirm yourself through your claim later.

and this is why I always scumread Savant.
I scumread him because it looked like he was pretty much coasting on his "first to claim" thing which means close to nothing in terms of towncred imo yet apparently he thought it makes him unlynchable this DP? yea not rly sure where that comes from.

A few things:
1. Town protective roles can be on me tonight as long as they don't reveal themselves today. If I just said I was confirmable, I'd be a target for a night kill but the doctor or whoever wouldn't bother to protect me.
2. The last time Austin accused me, I got lynched, and would likely have still gotten lynched if no one counterclaimed doctor. At this point I have no clue what will or won't make him scum read me, so better to stop the train early so we don't waste time. With this many votes, I'd have been forced to claim anyway and it would look more suspicious later.
3. Austin needs to go. He's smart enough that the only explanation I can think of for this is that he's scum and knows I'm town. Didn't even bother to explain why he scum read me and wants me to do that work for him. He's been breadcrumbing this accusation from earlier in the day phase, and I think he just latched onto Wylted's train hoping that his last successful lynch of me would get him towncred.

1. There was no reason to claim yet though, the chance of you getting NKed is pretty low. If scum have a roleblocker or redirector or smth, then you have a 100% chance of getting faulty results now.
2. You were literally scum in that game. Like if your argument is that I lynch badly, that's a really bad example to give.
3. I already said I scumread you because I felt you were coasting on your early claim in a way that didn't feel genuine. I asked you why because I wanted to see whether your reaction was coming from an informed ("oh no I've been caught but he doesn't know that") or uninformed ("I'm being pushed for no reason") perspective.

I think you're already assuming a lot.
For one, scum can always have a Strongman. No amount of protection will stop them. I'd say the possibility that you would have been a target for night actions if you had claimed you were hard confirmable (which you essentially are) was significantly less than the risk you take on by just claiming the role outright. You are now a clear target.
For another, like we did in a previous game as scum, the problem isn't solely whether they kill you. They can always just continuously RB you every single NP.
As for being accused, I get the frustration, but handling it this way ends up putting you in the crosshairs regardless. The only difference is who is aiming at you. I disagree that having two votes on you meant that this wagon was always going to get larger and force a claim out of you. I think a softclaim would have gotten at least Austin off of you, and I don't think anyone else would have joined the wagon if you had. I know I wouldn't.
As for Austin, I'll read through the DP and consider whether there's something there. I've had instances like this several times over the last few games where I scumread someone because they were being frustrating, Austin included (and I was right that time). Maybe there's something there this time, but I also don't want to jump on him just because he pushed a little harder on you.
I guess he deserves some town cred but I wasn't asking for a role unless it looked like a role would prevent a mislynch. If he got to L2 than maybe I would have asked for one. This is an odd response.

Every town member has pressure almost every Gane. It isn't a big deal to be in somebody's scum pool

I mean, if I was scum, I would have made up an explanation to go with my vote. The reason I didn't here as a townie is that I wanted to see how you would respond. Your response speaks volumes.

For the record, I think Savant is lean town for his role, but I feel he's vastly overreacting to a single vote on him and it makes me uncomfortable.
Alright, for what it’s worth, here’s my reads so far:
Slight town: Austin, Lunatic, Whiteflame, Joebob (all mostly based on activity)
Null: Everyone else
Slight scum?: Savant
???: WyIted
Additional info:
Savant: Not super scummy or anything, but is somehow always giving me a not incredibly town vibe. So far, if I had to lynch anyone right now it would be him, but it’s DP 1 and I haven’t been that active anyways. Besides, he’s always scummy for some reason.
Austin: So far the most town that I have from anyone. They’re a lot more active than when scum, but also a gut feeling, and the posting has been pretty townie.
WyIted: haven’t played with them before, but even if I had before, I still would have no idea what is happening over here. My intuition says town, mostly because it kinda goes beyond even fluff posting and it’s way more than any scum would do, but I am still very confused.
This is just my stream of consciousness. I don’t have a lot of cred to my name right now, somIm really just trying to be transparent and maybe get the game going a little.
