Welcome to Pie’s Recycled Roles Mafia. This was inspired by Lunatic’s recycled game (both the old one and the new one). As usual, this will be a Role Madness game, meaning there are NO VANILLAS. Since this is a recycled roles game, there is NO THEME SPLIT.

Each of you is a character/role from one of the games I have hosted. Each player is from their own game, meaning that there is no player with a character/role from 3 games (I have hosted a total of 12 games).

To be somewhat fair to mafia, I have given them the opportunity to try to guess games that I have not taken characters/roles from. They will have two such opportunities to ask this question at any point, and I will truthfully answer each time.

Just some quick rules:

1) No editing or deleting posts of any kinds
2) No copy/pasting your role PM (please paraphrase)
3) No cryptography of any kind
4) No communication outside of the mafia game
5) No liking/upvoting posts after you die

I reserve the right to add any other rules that are commonplace that I may have forgotten to list.

If you have any questions, please PM me directly. Also, PM me if you would like a vote count at any point in time, though I will try to be proactive in posting counts. All DPs will be 72 hours and NPs 24 hours unless the NP ends with everyone submitting actions earlier.

Let's get people like whiteflame, austin, wylted to go before the newer players this time. I think the newbies are usually all to willing to claim and its usually the vets that would hold off on claiming as long as possible. I wanna do it this way because I can see those players trying to wait as long as possible to avoid being game CC'ed. Chances of that happening are low anyway, but either way were forcing them into a subset of CC'able roles which severely limits fake claim options.

Right now Luna and Earth are likely safe if they don't get counterclaimed. If scum can ask Pie about two games this early in the game, there's around a 50% chance that both would be in the game. Scum would have to use both of their asks very early on and even bolder to claim this early if both games they asked about were not in the game.

Alright, sincerely, why the fuck is everyone pushing for claims this early, especially given this from Pie:

You are literally feeding scum information that will make it harder to track them down later. If you want claims, do it in a way that doesn’t make this super easy for scum to game.

Blows my mind pie has only hosted twelve games btw. Thought there would be more than that. But yeah pie has basically confirmed that there is only one game per person in the OP "Each of you is a character/role from one of the games I have hosted. Mafia does have a chance to ask about which games aren't CC'able. We should be watching to see whose online out of that group of people I mentioned and who is stalling to enter the day phase.

Plz take a look at what I wrote earlier regarding Earth and Luna: "Right now Luna and Earth are likely safe if they don't get counterclaimed. If scum can ask Pie about two games this early in the game, there's around a 50% chance that both would be in the game."

I'm the most clear right now, followed by Luna and then Earth. If I'm scum, you'd have to buy that I asked about two roles, assuming the 54% risk that both would be in the game already. Then, if that happened, you'd have to buy that I claimed my game first, despite a 70% chance that I would be counterclaimed.

Whiteflame, we are asking for GAME claims only. This shouldn't indicate a players role in the slightest and locks players into claims early. We found out how broken this mechanic was when pie forced it in the last game remember? Scum has two ask two questions about games that exists, the likelihood they ask one of the three games is super small. That's why Im hounding this point early.

I understand how it makes the initial claimers look. What I’m worried about is that it’ll be hard to tell if the later ones are sus, or just late to the party.

Statistically, mafia have a 15.385% chance of asking pie correctly about the game. Those odds change the more claims we get obviously, which is why I was wanting claims from that group specifically.

I’m not convinced we get the same benefit as that game, and I do think it offers scum more safe claims if they can just feign ignorance (or simply be absent) at the start of the DO, but fine, at least it’s somewhere to start.
