The presence of humans partaking in anti-social activities; sexual promiscuity, violence, self-destructive behaviours, enabling harmful coping strategies, are all evidence that societies structure is still, largely dysfunctional and antisocial. While society has become less volatile throughout history, the fact that there has not been a solution to rid anti-social behaviour completely suggests that there has been systematic reactivity rather than proactivity.

There is a great misunderstanding of America's first Amendment compared to other nations' understanding of Freedom of speech. the rules of the debate are as follows Pro must establish Freedom of speech has no limits as well as justify why this should remain the case. Con has to either prove that freedom of speech is in fact limited or give a strong argument as to why it should be limited even if it is not the case at present.
