If so, the wiki article of kin punishment needs to be updated.

Original wiki entry: Kin punishment is the practice of punishing the family members of someone accused of a crime, either in place of or in addition to the perpetrator. It refers to the principle of a family sharing responsibility for a crime committed by one of its members, and is a form of collective punishment. Kin punishment has been used by authoritarian states as a form of extortion, harassment, or persecution. Countries that have practiced kin punishment include pre-Christian European cultures, Nazi Germany, the Soviet Union, and non-Western cultures including China, Japan, and North Korea.“

Imagine each word being a sequence of numbers you have to remember. That’s the level at which I view spelling without auto-correct. Though it’s not exactly a one to one comparison. Luckily I had good reading tutors growing up. Not even sure if I technically have dyslexia.

Anyway, that’s an insight into a learning disability for ya.

And The Handicapping of Right-wing Audiences by Conservative Commentators.

I’ve been seeing a lot of conservative commentators defending the Cuomo’s because “they’re family” or some other deflection.

Does any right-wing people here disagree with Chris Cuomo being fired? And why is that? You guys care about truth, right?

Fact: The UK has recently recognised crabs and octopuses as sentient. They’ll be protected under animal rights.

Question: Is the plural of octopus, octopuses, or octopi? Octopus is a Latin word derived from the Geek word októpus.
Latin uses us or i for their plurals while Greek uses es or for their pluralisation, the same as English (Greek and English pluralisation is not related as far as I know). So should we treat octopus as a English word due to it being in the English lexicon?

Hopefully I can watch it live. The launch date is on a weekend. I’ll try to post a live feed when the day arrives.

This is just a rough concept I was playing around with.

The religion is called Triune of Fate.

The Triune of Fate consists of three androgynous/hermaphrodite deities:

The deity of mischief and joy, also known as the god of future.
(Depicted as an adolescent).

The deity of beauty and nature, also known as the god of present.
(Depicted as middle aged).

The deity of wisdom and reflection, also know as the god of past.
(Depicted as elderly).

To worship all three and to pay your respects, you have to at least once a week:
  •  Make someone laugh from joy.
  • Give a compliment of sincerity.
  • Improve ones life by giving advice.

Have you ever talked to someone where you have heard them say a small sentence describing something under their breath?
It doesn’t have to be malicious. It’s like thinking out ‘quietly’. When I confront someone about it, they always say they didn’t say anything.
I’d think I was schizophrenic if I only heard negative things.

I’ll start. Underwater.

You’ll be pleasantly surprised if you’re into cosmic horror.
I’d go as far as to say it’s the best adaptation/depiction of its type.

Please don’t spoil if you’ve seen it.

Believe me or not, I’ve experienced it a couple of times in the past couple of years.
It’s like opening up a warm oven with the air pressure hitting your face & head while simultaneously getting tinnitus (a constant ringing in the ear.)

I just learnt about this the other day.
Thoughts?
This is such a checkmate move against online reactionary conservatives.

Arguments in no particular order:

  • Allah means God in Arabic. Christians that speak Arabic say Allah.
  • Islam, Judaism, and Christianity all have the same God.
  • Freedom of speech.
  • Freedom of religion.
  • The student is probably getting death threats.
  • Under God was added to the pledge in the mid 1950’s.

I’ll get it started.

Does the hair of females grow faster than males?

My thought process went something like this:

hmm I’m due for a hair cut. I only need one every 6 months.
Do women’s hair grow faster than males? That probably would make evolutionary sense.

After a quick google search it seems men’s hair grows faster.
Which thinking about it makes more evolutionary sense (for protection.)
There’s a theory about beards being a cushion for hard hitting blows also.

It’s a legitimate question. I haven’t bothered to look up the answer. Do any of you know why?

I’m pretty sure someone talked him out of using nuclear weapons. He was then floated the idea of MOAB, probably.
This is the same Trump which suggested using nukes for hurricanes or what have you.

I’m curious what my abrahamic friends think.

As an atheist I come from the standpoint that God is omniscient (all-knowing), omnipotent (all-powerful), and omnipresent (all-present).
All Christians I’ve talked to affirm this, until I start pushing them on it. They then say he limits himself from foresight of freewill. Which is kinda weird if he’s eternal.

But anyway, would a human clone created by freewill have a soul?

One (part of the) solution could be advanced spacefaring civilisations tend to congregate and cooperate.
This in turn narrows down the divergent choices civilisations would have made otherwise.

What do you think? I haven’t heard/read this particular solution before.
Anyone else have any other solutions?

If you’re familiar with the story of The Witcher 3 you might recall Ciri having to jump through different worlds while running from the Wild Hunt.
Well in one world she stayed there for 6 months and described it to Geralt as such: https://youtu.be/oJGiq1khxKU?t=125

I really hope there’s a side quest or DLC of Ciri. I just wanted to share my thoughts.

I think so.
I’m sure the visuals were breathtaking back in 1968.
But come on, I don’t need half an hour to contemplate the opening scene.

I find chess to be more difficult. Probably too many pieces to keep track of simultaneously.
Whilst with poker it’s more sequential.
I do play poker more though, that might be a reason.

Most forms of criticism I’ve seen:

“Porn parody”

“Bad cosplay”

“He’s black” (racism)

“Bad writers”

“Blasphemy” (religious fanatics)

The last one is quite fun to read.

Has anyone seen the show? Is it any good?
