Some have criticized space exploration as wasteful spending, noting that billions of humans still suffer from a lack of basic material well-being. How can we justify devoting time, money, ingenuity, and political capital to (for example) landing a probe on Mars when (for example) nearly a billion humans live below the global poverty line?
Some people seem to believe the Bible is perfectly non-contradictory, and this baffles me. Hopefully, my opponent can help me understand how a person who has studied the Bible can believe it at no point contradicts itself.
