The resurrection we believe happens in eternity. That is, it is not a temporal resurrection. If it was, we would not believe that the saints who passed on from this world are with us.

In our eschatology, there is simply no room for reincarnation, because reincarnation is a temporal phenomenoand the resurrection occurs in eternity as The Light of God's Truth reveals all as it truly is in God. Falsehood  and death are melted away and vanquised by The Life that is The Truth.

We do not worship a corpse as God. We worship God, The Ultimate Reality in Trinity, that is, in Spirit and in Truth.

Before the foundations of the world, before anything in creation, Christ became death so that we can live, and on the last day we will rise with Him in eternity, death itself being cast into the lake of fire. The First is The Last. The Eternal God who is with us. The God of Salvation. The God of Truth.

During His first coming, He came to make atonement for the sins of those who would believe in Him. Thus, He forgave them for this sin, yet held them accountable during His Second Coming in AD 70 for their rejection of Him and all those He had sent to them.

True. He became human to do this. Thus, in addition to His godhood, He took on human nature. In the One Person of Jesus, there are two natures.

He was acting in His humanity to fulfill all righteousness, thus as already explained in Philippians 2:5-8 and Hebrews 2, He acted solely in His before resurrection appearances as a human being, not using His godly prerogative but relying on the Father and the Spirit.

And, in His human capacity, He explains to THEM all things that will happen but not the exact day or hour of the occurrence, just the signs that would lead up to His coming again.

Jesus also tells them elsewhere that when the Spirit, whom He will send, comes to them He [the Spirit] will guide them into all truth. He will take what is known by Him [Jesus] and the Father and transfer it to them. 

Their hearts, ears, and eyes were not open to their Savior as stated over and over again in the NT, as prophesied in the OT.

So even though Scripture gives these honest examples of dissent it does not present an unfavourable reading of who Jesus is and what He came to do overall, but more of what some of the JEWS of the day perceived Him.

That is true. He was sent to the lost sheep, to save the remnant and bring judgment on those who REJECTED Him as their Messiah, Redeemer, and Savior.

Over and over in the NT, we read of what Jesus did on behalf of those who would believe in His righteous sacrifice. Not only that, there is a juxtaposition between the OT of works of righteousness and God's grace through Jesus Christ in doing what we could not do - meet the righteous standard of God on our own accord.

It is no strange thing to refer to the day of judgement as the second coming. On the day of resurrection, you as well as everyone will meet Christ face to face, and even your most private thoughts will be laid bare at the dread judgement seat. There will be no hiding, no lying, no excuse.

It is best to prepare in this life while you can through strugglimg with your passions, overcoming delusion, adopting a humility befitting of a creature of God, and abiding in The Truth.

Animals have as much or as little of a soul as humans do. As a Pagan I am most vehemently against Christianity and Islam. This means that I am against religions that revolve around justifying abuse and seeing entities as so much 'lesser' that you can demean their actual sentience.

Judaism, Christianity and Islam do this more so than any other major religion. In practise, Christianity and Islam have done it the most; owning over 90% of the world essentially thanks to how brutally and without qualms they could justify invasion and Imperialism.

The religions that seek to make animals lesser than humans, use the same logic when making humans lesser than the invaders and rulers etc. These are corrupt religions, designed to tame people and masquerade their motive as salvation and therapy.

Of course, by taming people you do actually achieve helping them psychologically cope with the horrors of being invaded, pillaged and enslaved; for they accept that in the afterlife their God will repay them and it's only right the God's chosen people have power over them.

I am not here saying that we are all equal, I am not a Buddhist or some romantic fool. Some people really are smarter than others, some really will do more with their life. That doesn't mean that you lack a soul, just that you used yours more efficiently for the betterment of others. A dog most certainly has a soul, in my eyes and my religion.

I think maybe Harikrish is offended that I understand the word "Hinduism" to be a blanket term for the various religions of India. This is how the inventers of the word refered to what they saw as the diverse and eclectic paganism they found in India. Even today, you will find diverse and eclectic paganism in India!

There is no say, "orthodox" Hinduism. Rather, it is really the religion of India, which is very diverse. It is diverse because it isn't one religion, it is many different religions. They are tied together of course by the place of their origin and development... The rich and ancient culture of India! These Indian religions very rarely are of much interest to anyone other than Indians and the occasional Californian. On the rare occasion that they do, we aren't talking Hinduism anymore, we are talking about something like Buddhism

The Uncreated Church that is the body of Christ existed before time, and death will not overcome it. The Church is Eternal and has always been, always is, and will forever be.

Hinduism is not a religion, it is a catchall term used to describe Indian religion in general(The word was invented for this purpose) . Hinduism covers everything from literally worshipping rocks to suffering from the delusion that you are God. Hinduism is so diverse(because it isn't one religion) that it is impossible to really make too broad of statements concerning it.

There are a lot of "spiritual exercises" that bring about real effects, and teachers tend to use these effects to reinforce or prove to their students the veracity of the doctrine that is being taught. The truth of the matter is that most Hindu "spiritual exercises" do not truly bring the practitioner closer to enlightenment, but rather bring about a state of prelest. This is because the point of these spiritual exercises is not so much to purify the heart and align oneself to The Truth so much as it is to have an experience.

Hinduism is not really a religion so much as it is the religion of India. By the religion of India, I mean that in all its diversity. Some of it very thoroughly pagan, some of it more enlightened.

It is my observation that people in the west tend to be attracted to Hinduism either because of how exotic it is, or because they are attracted to what they find in it that encourages their spiritual egotism.

The fact that evolution does exist and the idea of a created universe are not mutually exclusive. That is of course the problem with the god of the gaps. Many people are not just uncomfortable with saying "I don't know" but also seem terrified of the unknown in general. This I think is most responsible for god occupying every book and cranny of pir knowledge where the intellectually honest answer is I dont know. That being said if @crossed is proposing a god that cannot exist alongside evolution I think science has some bad news for him.
