I'd be interesting in doing this debate, but what does "better" refer to? Economically? Benefits for the average person? Fairness?

Also, are we talking about real-life examples, or theoretical examples? In practice, I don't believe pure socialism has ever been implemented.

Regarding your point about being a "balancing act" with the mods, I somewhat doubt that you'll be able to do anything too controversial. The president's power is limited to giving recommendations, as well as vetoing permabans (and the vetoes can be overridden by simple majority vote).

I'm more interested in the official tournaments and events you plan to hold. If you can give a compelling and realistic plan for what you will do next year, then you have my (and many other users') votes.
