This case is entirely frivolous in its origin and grossly spurious.

This law passed should never have been allowed to be
retroactive. I get it why it is, legislatively, but NY passing
this law was patently politically motivated. Everything in NY where Trump is concerned is politically motivated. It’s self-evident that 90% of the attacks on Trump are politically motivated. This shit never happened or came up PRIOR to his announcement to run, only after, and incredibly hardened once he was elected. And once elected, all the cockroaches came out of the woodwork with a lot of “claims” and “accusation” of criminal activity from various unknown individuals trying to make a name for themselves and get their 15 minutes of fame.

So what! I have pictures of myself with movie and television stars. Does that mean I actually “met” and “interacted” with them to get to know them and have some sort of meaningful acquaintance with them? NO! Being photographed with people, famous or otherwise, does NOT = you “knowing” them, personally.
“If the jury finds that Trump did rape or otherwise assault Carroll, it is likely to order him to pay damages.
If the clearly biased jury does find him guilty, the verdict should be vacated immediately by the judge. Why?
No witness.
No evidence.
Telling someone a story =/= factual evidence. Her two shoulders to cry on can testify all they want repeating what Carroll said, but memory fades over time. And more than 25 years…their memory will be pure dogshit. They will get together and rehearse everything prior to the trial.
There is a history of women claiming rape when it never happened.
25+ years after the fact and NOW she wants to whine about it, even AFTER putting it in a book when she was called a liar…well, I call BULLSHIT on her claims.
Legally this case should be flushed down the toilet.
