Ya know, no one  in far left academia can cogently answer who/what/where is NOT racist… which is not surprising…

“Racist parents are a negative influence on their children” is a facile statement and loaded.

To be honest, I didn’t think you were intending a serious response with it…

I wasn't actually expecting him to describe CRT, a policy that racially segregates people by the color of their skin as "anti-racist" either.

I smell a troll. Or at least top level satire.

Aren't you against equality of outcomes (equity) rather than equality of opportunity (equality)? I've seen you speak out against Marxist-like ideology. Antiracism is a product of neo-Marxism and strives for equity rather than equality, at least as it is currently understood. Ibram X. Kendi (arguably the most popular antiracism activist) argues that inequitable outcomes between racial groups is racism, and anti-racism is promoting policies that eliminate inequities. This quote is probably the most revealing:

"The only remedy to racist discrimination is antiracist discrimination. The only remedy to past discrimination is present discrimination. The only remedy to present discrimination is future discrimination."
(From How to be an Antiracist)

In other words, it's okay to discriminate against white people when it is for the purpose of eliminating racial disparities and promoting racial equity.

Most people understand the prejudicial treatment of people based on the color of their skin to be considered racism. For the average person then, that means Kendi's "antiracism" is the same as "justified racism."

Facile means simple in the context you're using it.

It is not meant to be a complex statement, you're right. It's not a loaded statement at all though, no part of that statement assumes more than what the statement itself inherently claims.

If you want to see reverse racism in action, you don't need to look further than South Africa, which has been in SEVERE social decline with huge inequities since the rise of reverse racism.

USA doesn't need to go down that path. Equality under the law was a good idea in 1965, and it still is today.

“Facile” does not simply mean “simple.” The actual definition of facile describes your claim perfectly, though.

So, do you believe that children who happen to be white are better off (I.e. less negatively influenced) as orphans, then?

We haven't seen this level of race baiting around this Virginia election since Tawana Brawley. Hiring Black white supremacists to hold tiki torches..... bold move Cotton.

Ah yes, Tawana Brawley....... How could I forget about her. Probably because the KKK, Mafia, Irish Republican Army, and the state government covered it up!!!!

It's a damn shame though because the amount of government corruption and inequities that grew in South Africa around reverse racism policies should have been a wake up call for everyone in America.

WTF was so wrong about the 1965 Doctrine that we have to shitcan it in 2021?

Yeah, I don’t know. Marxism used to be about the haves and have nots, which could at least be quantified easily enough ($). And that was just 10 years ago. Now, the Marxist narrative is about identity politics/CRT/oppressor/oppressed/privilege/etc. etc.— which cannot really be quantified at all. And it is often contradictory; it is the tiger which eats its own tail…

Yes I would prefer to avoid such social decline. Though I don't really see any way out outside of another Great Awakening. It was Judeo-Christian values that were the pillar for the American experiment. But people have no reason to hold to those biblical values if they aren't committed to the author of the Bible. People will soon discover that their only options now are Christ or chaos. Many have already embraced chaos, which will also be to their eternal dismay.

Virginia flipped red mostly as a backlash against rich racist whites by working class minority Hispanics and blacks.
[insert evidence here]

You are manufacturing a ridiculous reason for why Virginia flipped red.
Actually, I’m reacting to yours. In case you already forgot, your stated reason was “The BS of having a Blue state flip red over Jussie Smollet style race baiting”.

There is absolutely nothing remotely absurd about a parent insisting a child should NEVER be exposed to a racist CRT teacher who fundamentally treats students on the basis of skin color, regardless of the justification. Teachers who are instructed to racially segregate their students as oppressors and victims based on skin color as if it was the 1950's but with the colors reversed.
What’s absurd is characterizing this as if it’s anything more than anecdotal, or even more so as if this is an issue that should have had anything to do with the VA election. The democrats weren’t running on doing any of this and the vast majority of left wing voters reject it as well. It is, as usual with the political right, a completely fabricated bogeyman to scare right wingers into voting.

The whole "CRT isn't being taught in schools" thing is just a game of semantics, and I think you know that.
I do, and that’s kind of the point. The fact that people are so up in arms over a course that’s not being taught demonstrates that these people have no idea what they are talking about. If they actually cared to learn anything about race and racism they would be able to express valid criticisms, but they don’t. In fact they’re so opposed to learning anything about it that this issue catapulted Youngkin to the governorship. With all the issues the right claims we’re having with Joe Biden at the helm you’d expect they would have much bigger things to complain about than this.

I know it must feel really weird when the narrative of the world isn't dictated by Democrat elites, but by household parents.

Ignoring issues may have been the bread and butter of a limousine Democrat, but that's becoming a passing fad.

There's one side that never ignores issues and one side that always gaslights and undercuts what the former side does to address those issues.

The ignorer is Republicans, the doer is Democrats.

The bread and butter of Republican propaganda is to criticise what Democrats do and say, rarely ever is their strategy to make clear what they will do.

When they say they run on a jingoist platform and promise to build a wall costing billions and make Mexico pay for it, it's sometimes a wonder why they stick to avoiding promising what they'll do.

Neither party stopped construction of the border wall. That was done by corporate lobbyists.

You're just a cog in their machine helping to ignore what's going on at the border.

How does your use of the terms "race" and "racism" differ from how they are understood in Critical Race Theory? Be very specific since you seem to be quite knowledgeable on the subject.

It's one of the few times Republicans did an actual promise, rather than only running anti-Democrat, yet the promise was so absurd and asinine it couldn't be upheld and only a fool would think it could.

The promise was not that the wall would be built alone but that Trump would get Mexico to pay for it. This is the literal, genuine promise (one of the only promises that was tangible) in the campaign of Trump.

When your crew realise you are the machine. You are a tax avoidant cryptocurrency expert milking the system, this isn't ad hominem you have proudly identified yourself as that.

You are the machine, you are the 'corporate lobbyist' type just without the corporation part, you care only about your own greed and cheating the system you are meant to be a part of. I don't resent that actually because you aren't in power, I may do the same if I was as sure I could make it in the crypto market though I'd feel ashamed and probably use some of my wealth for helping others (at least my own family which I don't know if you do or don't).

You call it 'theft' when the others take from the earners but what is inheritance then? If you support unlimited inheritance what part of that money was earned by the recipient?

Lol, if you think there are crews, you are working for the machine.

You are a tax avoidant cryptocurrency expert milking the system,

Why should I support crony Washington DC with taxes? It's going to be spent on the rich anyway regardless of what party you vote for.

cheating the system you are meant to be a part of.
I hate to break it to you , but none of us peons are "part of" the corruption that is involved in writing the regulations and mandates in DC.

Like George Carlin said wisely: "It's a big club, and you aint in it."

and probably use some of my wealth for helping others
As I have. My 11 year old nephew is battling leukemia and I am the sugar uncle showering him with all sorts of gifts.

but what is inheritance then?
A gift.

what part of that money was earned by the recipient?
How about you try to walk into Boston Children's Hospital and try to explain to my nephew how he hasn't earned his gifts. See how many teeth you leave with.

You're a disgusting creature.

What many parents do not want is “anti-racism” (of the Ibram X. Kendi, Robin DeAngelo, Ta Nehasi Coates et al variety) taught to their children in lower school.
Neither do I. If I think teachers are steering my child wrong on matters of race I’ll steer them back. I’m not running out to vote for governor over it, especially when I’m so concerned about my life being destroyed by gas prices, inflation and my freedoms being taken away which I am so convinced the current administration is entirely responsible for.

Race and racism are more surface level. It’s about basic differences between us, what these terms mean, how it impacts each of us, how we spot it, and our country’s long history with it which our history classes barely teach. CRT goes deeper. It examines the prevalence of it within our systems and makes the case that it is the most prevalent source of conflict within our society.

If you are largely unconcerned with the trends in your child’s education, you are in the minority. McAuliffe basically announced in the open that parents don’t really need a say in their child’s education, and the majority of parents disagree.

That didn't answer my question. CRT defines the terms "race" and "racism" in a very particular way. I'm asking how your definition of "race" and "racism" is different than how those terms would be defined in CRT. Saying that CRT goes "deeper" only shows me you are defining and using the terms in the same exact way, just with different levels of scrutiny in terms of identifying "racism" in society.

We’re not talking about math or science. Race is a complex and controversial issue and it’s not going anywhere. Your child will be exposed to it and will eventually develop their own opinions on the matter which will be influenced by what they consume and who they talk to. If you’re not expecting and prepared to have those conversations with your child then that’s your failure.
