@Yassine
- We can give that a shot too. My position regarding what exactly?

-  I believe a lot of things. That's a wildly general question. Anything in particular?

Yes. Within the context of the OP its not a general question. How do you define God and why do you believe that; or more precisely - why should I believe what you do?

- I am much more interested in debate. But discussion is ok too.

How do you define God and why do you believe that;
- God is the singular absolute necessary transcendent being. I believe in God, because without qidam (pre-existence, necessity, first principal, ultimate reality...) there can be nothing. There is no world in which there is no qidam.

or more precisely - why should I believe what you do?
- To attain truth, peace & salvation. To believe in the absoluteness of nature is to make associates with God; & to believe in the arbitrariness in the universe is to deny reason itself.

You're smuggling God in here. You would need to demonstrate "qidam" is part of every world or, at least, this one.

why should I believe what you do?
- To attain truth, peace & salvation.
I should accept your belief is true so I could get [1] truth, [2] peace, and [3] salvation?

[1] circular reasoning
[2] peace can be had without your belief
[3] salvation from what?

- I am much more interested in debate. But discussion is ok too.
Currently, I'm not very interested in a debate for two reasons: lack of time and ignorance of the Quran.

My available time is about to improve (I'm quitting my second job - yay!). I would still need to brush up on the Quran - not sure how quickly I could do that...

You're smuggling God in here. You would need to demonstrate "qidam" is part of every world or, at least, this one.
- It's hard to translate this word into English, but it could be 'everlasting', a necessary existence, that which can not not exist. A world without a necessary existence is obviously not possible. We can have a debate about this.

I should accept your belief is true so I could get [1] truth, [2] peace, and [3] salvation?
- Unless of course you are able to disprove those beliefs, then I'll happily accept yours.

[1] circular reasoning
- LOL! No. Disprove what I said, before you jump to conclusions.

[2] peace can be had without your belief
- Not the one I'm talking about.

[3] salvation from what?
- Eternal damnation.

Currently, I'm not very interested in a debate for two reasons: lack of time and ignorance of the Quran. My available time is about to improve (I'm quitting my second job - yay!). I would still need to brush up on the Quran - not sure how quickly I could do that...
- Let me know when you are ready.

I define God differently depending who I speak to,
As often these days, it's a word of more clear meaning and definition for them, than myself.

For myself as time passes, it becomes more a nonword for myself,
Not in a reviled sense, but that it has lost meaning for myself, and garners meaning more in how it applies in discussions with others, than myself.

Even religions have a problem defining God and give it labels like Omnipotent, omnipresent, omniscience etc.

God himself had a hard tim3 defining himself to Moses and simply said.

Exodus 3:14 God said to Moses, “I AM WHO I AM. This is what you are to say to the Israelites: ‘I AM has sent me to you.’”

There is but one only,1 living, and true God:2 who is infinite in being and perfection,3 a most pure spirit,4 invisible,5 without body, parts,6 or passions,7 immutable,8 immense,9 eternal,10 incomprehensible,11 almighty,12 most wise,13 most holy,14 most free,15 most absolute,16 working all things according to the counsel of His own immutable and most righteous will,17 for His own glory;18 most loving,19 gracious, merciful, long-suffering, abundant in goodness and truth, forgiving iniquity, transgression, and sin;20 the rewarder of them that diligently seek Him;21 and withal, most just and terrible in His judgments,22 hating all sin,23 and who will by no means clear the guilty.24
God hath all life,25 glory,26 goodness,27 blessedness,28 in and of Himself; and is alone in and unto Himself all-sufficient, not standing in need of any creatures which He hath made,29 nor deriving any glory from them,30 but only manifesting His own glory in, by, unto, and upon them: He is the alone fountain of all being, of whom, through whom, and to whom are all things;31 and hath most sovereign dominion over them, to do by them, for them, or upon them whatsoever Himself pleaseth.32 In His sight all things are open and manifest;33 His knowledge is infinite, infallible, and independent upon the creature,34 so as nothing is to Him contingent, or uncertain.35 He is most holy in all His counsels, in all His works, and in all His commands.36 To Him is due from angels and men, and every other creature, whatsoever worship, service, or obedience He is pleased to require of them.37
In the unity of the Godhead there be three persons, of one substance, power, and eternity; God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Ghost.38 The Father is of none, neither begotten, nor proceeding: the Son is eternally begotten of the Father:39 the Holy Ghost eternally proceeding from the Father and the Son.40

So you accept this definition of god because the Bible says so? How do you know the Bible got it right? I mean, why should I accept the Bible as authoritative regarding god?

The atheists have a problem with you using the holy book for your religion to define the god of your religion. I guess they would prefer you use a phone book but let's be honest they're already angry you believe in a god so they really are going to argue about anything. I guess they think that you should be able to define a god based on something outside your faith. Or better yet you could define him the way they do, non-existent.

'The witches have a problem with you applying skepticism and critical thinking to a religious belief. I guess they would prefer no criticism whatsoever, but let's be honest they're already angry you don't believe so they are really going to argue about anything. I guess they think that  substantiating knowledge claims with evidence or reason is absurd. Or better yet you could define god in the  way they do: bald assertion.'

I'm glad people like you don't believe. We've got enough bigots and racist and misogynist running around in the religions themselves, we certainly don't need atheists coming over and doing it. I mean look at the stuff you guys are posting now: anti-trans, anti-gay, anti women, anti POC, anti Jews, I mean Jesus Christ is there anybody you guys actually get along with beside yourselves? So you repeat back me what I define gods as, this should be real interesting. And make sure you pick the right ones you know the ones I actually worship not the ones that you think I should worship because you're actually Christians with angst.

Plenty of Christians lie for each other too. Posts are all here for everybody to read I have to say that the tolerance of the racism surprises me more than any of the other ones. I mean I know you guys are about as misogynist as it gets but I'm honestly really shocked that the racism has been tolerated. But then you guys think that basically morals are just whatever you feel is right so why begrudge someone being a racist when they feel that's right for them morally.
