I lied because the mod had an original plan on how the potato worked, then suddenly decided to change the rule because he thought it was too powerful for town.
But he changed the rule after I lied to bait the NK towards me.
Regardless, Dani is scum if she is available and does not say anything.

Also, the mod just confirmed to me via PM that he updated his role list to reflect the current status and mechanics of the role. So you guys know the mechanic now, and it doesn't matter anymore what Dani has to say. I won't get any analysis from it now.

Per pie
You are the HOT POTATO. You start the game with a HOT POTATO. You win with the Town.
NOTES:
If something prevents the player from giving away the HOT POTATO (e.g. roleblocker, commuter, etc.) the HOT POTATO will be given to a random, targetable player (that isn't the player currently holding it). If no such player exists, the bomb will explode harmlessly in mid air.
Note on timing: The player receiving the bomb during a Night Phase will be the one protected by it (killing their killers) not the person giving it away.
MESSAGE TO PLAYER/MESSAGE TO TARGET
"You have been given a HOT POTATO. If functions as a BOMB: if whoever receives this bomb is killed for any reason (except by lynching), their attacker will die as well. If they have multiple killers, one will be selected at random to die. You must give this HOT POTATO to another player during the next available night phase. If you do not, it will explode and kill you! (If you are Mafia, you may not give it to another Mafia player)"
(If the target cannot be given the bomb): "You cannot find your target so you toss the HOT POTATO into the crowd!"
(If there are no available players to take the bomb): "The bomb explodes in mid air!"
Someone check the list and post it. If the verbage is the same we lynch him. If it's changed he's confirmed

I said "I might have to disclose some stuff" meant I would have to explain why I lied about Mason due to the change, but then I decided to wait till the next day and get Dani's reaction and see if it lined up with the role list. I didn't expect the Mod to update the list.

It’s still the same. If Drafter did change the list then it happened before I posted that. In fact it probably happened before GP first claimed Hot Potato. I remember looking at the list to see what it does but I don’t exactly remember what the notes said about it

Danielle is either scum or TP. If Danielle is scum then I would sus That1 and Whiteflame as TPs. If Danielle flips TP then Croc would be confirmed but it would place more suspicion on the other two for me. Ofc if Supa does what you recommended then it could be solved but who knows

He apologized for doing it, but said it was his first time making a game around this role, and wanted to maintain balance thinking it was way too powerful to apply to 2 people, which is why he felt it necessary to change it up. I told him I understood and decided to try and use it to either score with Dani who usually dies NP1 or try to see if Dani's explanation of the role matched up with the list. I did not anticipate MOD updating the role list, which kinda leaves me hanging as to why I demanded you guys wait on Dani.

The timing actually checks up with drafters edit and parrots post. Within an hour of each other.
Drafter prob changed it and parrot logged on about an hour later

Assuming Google shows the same time as me. It’d be 11:30 Central on Wednesday when Drafter made an edit to the list. GP made the post at 11:51 Central and didn’t expand on it at all.
