Hey, is it possible to implement indents into the text field for debates? It's not a big deal, but it does bother me a little bit not being able to lmao.

What kind of indents do you mean?

Like this above this sentence? As in empty lines?

Oh I see, thanks. So you would like to have an editor button to indent lines for you?

Even if you copy and paste with indentation, this text field edits them out upon publication. There's more to alter than just the option, I think. Your formatting has 'ruled out' indentation as a factor. The way I made a pseudo-indentation just there was with multiple space characters.

Yeah, it'd be nice to have, but it's definitely not a must. When I copy paste from Google Docs, it just counts it as ~3 spaces for each one. It works, of course, but if you're like me and always end up somehow going over the 30,000 character limit without fail, that's 3 too many lmao.

The reason he thinks it's removed is the new profile layout has no button to direct message someone

Or at least add a badge for it.

Use the block function 100 times and get a gold medal.

anarchism would be chaotic an ideology that promotes so much violence and chaos should not be promoted

Not neccessarily, anarchism by itself really promotes a distaste of the state of a enforcible social contract more broadly. It hampers on personal responsibility and something I quite don't like, but to say that it encourages violence is simply wrong.

This is probably a bad place to discuss this, but also I fail to see how being able to select it as a political ideology constitutes promotion.

Oh come on, why is the default debating setting 2 rounds? Even DDO does 3 rounds. I don't even care that settings beyond 5 rounds is not possible. 2 rounds isn't enough for default normal debates. I personally think 3 is a much better choice so I request to change the default debate when creation to 3 rounds instead of 2.

I don't know why, but I'm having difficulty logging in. I've never had an issue before but lately I cannot sign in, it just keeps saying "oops, there's a problem"....if I try several times in a row I might get lucky and it will log me in. Anyone else having this problem??

Yeah I used to have that problem with DDO too. All other sites work fine on my computer, just can't log in here and it's pretty frustrating. It finally allowed me to sign in after 20 tries or so, sometimes I can't get it at all.

Can you describe how you recruited so many people to join this platform? I am a new technology entrepreneur, and I am constantly intrigued by how new apps gain new users, especially for a niche market like the one targeted by DebateArt.

It's pretty well indexed by the google.

I found DDO when searching for arguments for and against solipsism.

Please add a warning pop up any time a user tries to set their age to below 13, followed by if they insist on really being so young, it auto banning them until their 13th birthday.

Sort by voting period end appears to have a small issue for me, on iOS:

(~4 days) is showing higher than:

(~1 day)

I’m guessing a 6 Month voting period thing is being incorrectly calculated in the search criteria?
