I am not sure it would be that simple, not only forum posts and debate arguments contain markup, which is not easy to reliably separate from normal words, but also it's not always clear what should be considered a word. I may look into it at some point but probably not soon.

Even a RAW character count would be "close enough" to compare one account to another.

So, I bought a new laptop with Chinese settings, and when I tried to sign in to my account there, using the correct password and email that I have been using for the past year correctly, it did not show me signed in at all; rather it shows nothing but a line of text that says
("keep_history":false, "redirect":"/")
and nothing more.
I decided to try on my phone and it tells me the same thing.
I tried to change my password and when I click "send", it shows the same line of text.
Please, what is wrong? I need to sign in to my account in another device and the site is not letting me.

Update: No matter what I enter for the fields of Email and password, it shows the same thing every time. I want to know the reason of that.
Now it works on my phone, but not the new laptop for some reason

Do you have JavaScript enabled? Is there any chance that something disables it? Also, can you please provide details about your browser? The name and the version.
Also, please make sure that you disable your AdBlocks, they may be causing problems since now the authentication forms use anti-bot system by Google called ReCapthca and there is a chance that some adblocks or browsers may be deleting the code that is required for it to run.

Not at all an urgent matter, but it would be great to have a feature where mods can over-ride the voting period in the situation that a member is banned or a concession was made.

Are you located in China? I heard that Google is not exactly liked there and therefore you may not be able to get JavaScript file that is responsible for the anti-bot protection, since it's by Google. Can you use some VPN and see if it works?

He is under 18 and VPN itself is extremely illegal in China, it could affect his whole family in bad ways. Thus is not a good thing to directly encourage in this scenario. I personally would advise him to just view this site as a spectator for the time being.

I didn't want to complain as I know that's my 'thing' but I guess I have to stay true to my thing to point something out.
This used to only happen on firefox on Android, not on Chrome, but this problem is getting quite severe for any kind of extensive reply on a debate forum:
If you highlight things in posts, you can't edit nor copy-paste or anything with them. You can effectively post unformatted messages very fine and well but anything else doesn't work, instead of the 'copy paste' etc, that option set is covered up by some kind of option to return to the homepage of debate art the overlays it.

New profile format both leages out last online time as well as the entire Questions section.
Both are accessible via switching to Debates, Forums or Friends. These unlock the 'how long ago' last online time and Questions tab.

no, click the little circle on the bottom right of the pfp on the profile to see the time since they were last online
green indicates online
yellow indicates recently online
grey indicates they havent logged on in a while

Are you sure? There is no visible scrollbar, but still can swipe the tabs left and therefore move to the right, where you can the questions tab.
