Well, simply put, there is this editor init function that should run every time the page is loaded but sometimes it didn't trigger and the editor didn't work. At least that's my best idea.
New changes:
1) Added notifications for the debate participants about the new votes. By default, email notification is off, you'd need to enable it to start receiving emails.
2) Added links to debate comments and votes ( those #1, #2, #3 thingies )
3) Hopefully, fixed the bug when the editor wouldn't work on the page load.
4) Added the "characters left" counter for the argument creation page.
And folk, please, if you find some new bugs or problems, don't be shy to tell me about them, don't torture yourself trying to find a workaround.

Thanks for dealing with it so quickly. It seems to be working much better. I had only one or two minor glitches with it today, but this is but a fraction of what was occurring before.
Often you can do both, hit the quote button and paste in some text, or paste the text, highlight it and hit the quote button. Today this glitched a couple of times where one would work but the other would not, although so far at least one always worked, no having to leave the page and come back, a huge improvement. Yeah, editor is a tricky thing and it's really hard to make everything work properly, hopefully it's more usable now :)
New changes:
Profile pages now have information about the user's comments, votes and forum posts as well. That's taken me a while but now we've got it. It's still a subject to changes but at least it's something :)

Very good update but criticism:
Make them actual tabs separate from 'debates' and 'forums' as opposed to sub-tabs under 'debates'. If you want have a tab called 'comments' and a tab called 'topics' and under both have forums and debates then have a third tab called 'votes'.

Thanks for the feedback! Well, I am not sure if it's gonna change a lot, I guess it'll be more clear once there are other sections on the website so we know how to structure things the best way.

So I've talked with some guy that understands something about all that stuff and apparently, what you are talking about is gender but on the profile page we have sex therefore only two options are available. So I don't think it's gonna change since it's a different thing.

Except biological sex is *meaningless* to know.
Nobody cares what your biological sex is. The thing which you socially express -- and the reason there is such an option on a profile page -- is gender, so that people know what pronouns to use while talking about you in the third person, etc.

Seems like it would be no sweat to just add another option. I must agree that I am far more interested in the gender of someone's mind than the gender of their body. Their mind is the only thing I interact with online.
Day four and I still have not experienced the editor loading glitch again once. Such an annoyance relief.

I'll point out that it is the status quo on DDO.
DDO offers the following options for gender:
Female, male, agender, androgyne, bigender, genderqueer, prefer not to say
I think the options should just be female, male, other, prefer not to say.

Recommendation:
To the list of options when you click on your own profile picture on the top right corner (e.g. "edit profile," "activities," "favorites," "debates"), also add a direct link to view the profile page, so users can do it with one click once they're on DebateArt.com and don't have to do edit profile --> view profile page.
Photo albums where people can reference pictures and things like that in our profile
