I just got to work, so I was thinking about this on the way here and I guess we have to unanimously decide as a town what we want to do this day phase, lynch or no lynch. I used to be pretty pro no lynching DP1 in situations where we don't have any major blaring scum tells to go on. I still kind of lean that way, but I can also be pursuaded to lynch an inactive like Bear. Though the problem with that is if he ends up claiming a power role and we screw ourselves, since we already have two role claims this day phase. I am still in favor of a no lynch though, no behavior reads have struck out to me this day phase like they did in DP1 of the last game. People are being very... Hmmm I don't know, non-committal doesn't seem like the right word, but like not giving much to read off of I guess? Gun to my head? I would reccomend a no lynch. I know people tend to freak out when they hear that because people like drafter used to advocate lynching DP1 pretty hard. And I haven't done the research lately to confirm this, but I feel like we tend to mislynch or accidentally lynch power roles DP1 more often than we lynch scum. The coutner-argument to that is that we are narrowing it down further, getting information for future day phases, etc. But if we decide to lynch someone and they role claim a power role we have to evaluate the cost vs benefit. I'll go whatever way, but if we are nearing to the end tomorrow and haven't made any sort of decision I will be VTNLing.

That makes sense. I prefer a DP1 lynch in general, but I'm not convinced that we should lynch just for the sake of lynching.

Any AWOL or detrimental town works in the favor of town to lynch, biggest AWOL is BearMan.

Ok guys. I got caught up on the DP.  I had some really weird thoughts today, and I was thinking about them (actually not lying)

I suggest you don't lynch me, as it will be very detrimental to the entire town. But, anyway its just a game.

I don't see anyone that looks like potential mafia. An NK would be beneficial to determining a theme split and who is actually mafia.

I have no idea if you're telling the truth or not. Either way, that's probably the most unique excuse for inactivity I've seen.

I don't think a random lynch is a good idea. We would have a 75% chance of hitting town.

I think that we should no lynch. Between Mharman showing up (that was a surprise) and Croc's claim, I don't have any scum reads

As for whether we should lynch or no lynch... I think it's too early to call. 

We've got all of tomorrow. I think we should make use of that time and pressure certain people... For example, Bear has been awfully scummy with his absence. I get he had an excuse with the account hacking, but "I was thinking about some thoughts?" That just smells like bs to me, idk. 

I get that we don't want to mislynch or become too aggressive, but we won't get anywhere if this keeps up.

If by the end of tomorrow we've still got nothing, then we can no-lynch. I haven't historically supported lynching people without fair reasons, and I continue by that stance.  As it stands, though, I don't feel like we should throw in the towel.

Didn't say he was scum lmao. Just an example of someone who needs some pressure put on him. I mean the guy hasn't contributed anything. 

While what Lunatic said about Oromagi makes a lot of sense, and Oromagi's claims about himself are dubious but believable, that doesn't answer my scum read on Bearman or That1User. Personally I'm more suspicious of That1User.

Why? Seems like a waste to me. Doc should try to be on whoever they think is a power role or themselves. If mafia kill croc, they are doing town a favor.

I find that if he at least does SOMETHING with his voyeur role, it will give up at least something to work with. It won't be much, but if he is a power role then mafia will NK him before they risk being caught by him.
