Here Crocodile says that User is in kahoots with Speedrace, which based on #57, means that Crocodile sees User as lean scum again.
You pointed out a key argument here. It definitely seems that Crocodile is getting twisted on his reads. You have a very solid point. And it’s not like Crocodile hasn’t played mafia. I recall him playing as AvoidDeath (which he openly admitted to), so he is definitely not a noob. His jumping back and forth is a scum sign.

I said that what you described could be a possibility. I clearly said that he was demanding me substantiate my character claim that early in the game, which is not normal town behaviour. You're trying to misconstrue what I said here, and that raises many red flags.
Why else would he demand an explanation so early on? I'm not saying it's 100% a trap, just that it has hints of being a trap. As far as I'm aware of, this isn't normal townplay.

Because in all the games that I recall being in with WP, I don't remember a single time he was like this.
It's also a noob scum instinct to defend your scum buddy to make them look innocent when they are being pressured.

@RationalMadmanI don't think it's a sub-optimal town play. Claiming miller at the start is much more believable than if someone claimed miller after a cop said they were guilty, which would be the sus-est thing ever.
Here he's saying I'm not playing a sub-optimal town play (implying that the fact that I claimed this early as miller seems town).
And miller is an inherently scummy claim.

Well it certainly does seem like press put a butt ton of effort into his char claim. Though the effort itself can't justify if he's town or mafia, on one hand, town would want to convince other town that they really are miller and mafia would want to convince town that they are town. I think when you say elaborate you mean that it's elaborate because it closely resembled the original pm. But while the first paragraph of press's pm does resemble my pm a bit the next two don't really.
Also, he drowned Bryce in the ocean(which seems heinous on the outside) but was doing it in an attempt to protect his friends, and felt deep regret afterwards.

I said it might look like that because I paraphrased it.
