Snerp rushes back down stairs and hurls insults at Doru. Doru snarls and tilts his head back, letting out a scream.

[Vicious Mockery Damage: d4 (2) = 2 psychic damage]

Roberts unleashes a series of magic bolts which cause Doru to fly backwards and he slumps to the ground, unmoving.

(search the area, body....My character really doesn't know much about Vampires, however I recall Snerp mentioning a need to remove their heads, which I will do if we are all in agreement as it being the prudent thing to do)(We should check with the priest as to what his wishes are for the body, cremation sounds like the best idea as well)

Snerp heads back upstairs while the muscle of the group handles the clean-up. 

He approaches Donavich

I'm sure the Morninglord will take mercy on him. It wasn't his fault he was turned, it was Strahds. Your son was but a victim to his evil machinations. 

(On a side note this game totes convinced me to get the clre rule books and start up a group with friends again 👏👏.)

(should i say, burn body, and bury the head and ashes seperately in a river or stream bed. The key is running water because they're weak against that too.)

I would hope a priest knows how to bury a vampire.

(In character I only know what Drafterman tells me my character knows. Out of character I know what the procedure for killing a vampire was in 2nd ed.)

Ismark: Occasionally we've had to deal with the thralls of Strahd. Our recourse was to burn the entire body to ash. But I think that may impede any attempts to bring him back later, not that I'm sure how you'll manage that.

(Odd that Ismarck and Ireena would both mention potentially saving the son.

Idk, we can't use raise dead cause that doesn't work on undead. We'd need revivify, reincarnation, or something like that beyond a wish spell. Prolly In conjunction with a remove curse spell.)

Well, I've heard that killing a vampire then resurrecting them restores the person back to proper condition. But we don't have current access to such things. Maggie herself seemed like a magical creature, perhaps she has a means of accomplishing that such as a spell scroll. 

(bruh the morninglord favors those who perform good deeds, dispel the undead, spread the arts, and create life. Restoring a vampire back to life in one of his houses could possibly get his attention in a good way 😋)

(I am not a follower of the morninglord. I am a proud disciple of Zud. I get that you are buck8ng for an In game buff like we got for burying the children but Eikka doesn't know she's in a game and that can't effect her descision realistically.)
