Snerp and Roberts heads down the western hallway and finds himself in a room. A chandelier is suspended above a table in the middleof the room. Two high-backed chairs flank the table,which has an empty clay jug and two clay flagons atopit. Iron candlesticks stand in two corners, their candleslong since melted away. In the northwest corner huddles one of the remaining ghouls.

Eikka and Grahf head down the southern hallway and end up in a different room. This room is festooned with moldy skeletons that hangfrom rusty shackles against the walls. A wide alcove inthe south wall contains a painted wooden statue carvedin the likeness of a gaunt, pale-faced man (who you recognize from your shared dream: https://www.debateart.com/forum/topics/175?page=21&post_number=514) wearing a voluminousblack cloak, his pale left hand resting on thehead of a wolf that stands next to him. In his right hand,he holds a smoky-gray crystal orb.The room has exits in the west and north walls. As you enter, the shadows of the skeletons flitter and dance excitedly.

A ghoul cowers in the southwest corner.

Snerp attempts to fire an arrow into the ghoul, but it frantically dodges out of the way.

[Ranged Weapon Attack (disadvantage): d20 (8, 5) + 4 = 9, Miss!]

The ghouls continue to cower and flail about

Grahf flings a spectral hand at the ghoul, but it splashes against the nearby wall.

[Ranged Spell Attack (disadvantage): d20 (203) + 5 = 8, Miss!]

Roberts waits for a charge but, seeing it not coming, marches ahead himself and swings his sword at the ghoul, aiming high as it ducks underneath the blade.

Eikka attempts to take a shot at point blank range but it ducks away at the last moment.

I move closer to the ghoul then take aim, stopping my breath. At best opportunity I unleash an arrow (add bardic inspiration to attack roll).

Snerp takes careful aim and looses another arrow, it strikes true and shakes the ghoul out of its frightened state. (You hit without needing your inspiration, so you get to keep it)

[Ranged Weapon Attack (disadvantage): d20 (1610) + 4 = 14, Hit!]
[Shortbow Damage: d6 (1) + 2 = 3 piercing damage]

The ghoul turns around and rakes its claws down Snerps body, leaving blood, infected gashes in the wake.

[Snerp takes 7 slashing damage]
[Constitution Save: d20 (10) = 10, Saved!]

The other ghoul attempts to fend Eikka off with his hands, dodging another spectral hand from Grahf.

Roberts steps up to the defense of Snerp and hacks at the ghoul with his longsword.

The ghouls slash sends me backwards, and I use that momentum, as injured as I am, to roll out of the ghouls range. I come out of the roll and take aim quickly, loosing another arrow. 

(I hope you dont mind the flair xD.)

(basically, was picturing popping sparks in front of the ghoul, causing it to dodge away from them, right into Roberts blade xD. We weren't hitting the ghoul, I was thinking of possible solutions to scoring a hit 😂)
