(he's in a daze why would we need to knock him out?  he hasn't done anything, or resisted what we are doing yet, until then I don't see we really need to do much)

The girl sits up and looks over the group. I'm Arrabelle what are you guys, some sort of circus troupe?

Why does everyone keep saying that? pulls the kitten from her pouch and strokes it givingit a few .morsels of dried meat.

Arrabelle: Well, you certainly don't look like you're from around here.

Arrabelle: No, just cold and wet. My father is leader of a camp just outside of town. I'd very much like to go there.

Snerp winks and puts his hand on her shoulder(cast presdigitation) as a light warmth radiates from his hand and spreads through her clothes, drying them up and cleaning them to be fresh, warm, and smell like lavender. 

She smiles and rubs her self down, amazed. Wow, that's pretty fantastic. As far as that man, don't worry, once I tell my father what he did he won't cause anyone else any more trouble.

Arrabelle: If he's under a spell it's the stupidest spell I've ever heard of. I was getting board in camp, so I decided to collect some wild flowers. I find this guy moping around, complaining about not being able to catch any fish, and he just snatches me up. He never really talked to me, just kept muttering to himself about giving an offering to the lake. He's not under a spell, he's just crazy.

(ok guys anyone with detect magic or anything?)

I cast identify as a ritual. If he's under the influence of a spell that will tell us.

The man does not acknowledge Eikka as she touches him. Throughout the ritual, she detects no magical spells or affects affecting or influencing him.

The man keeps fishing as if in a trance, completely oblivious to what is going on around him.

Snerp nimbly jumps over to the other boat, pulling out his daggers anf driving the hilts into the back of the mans head to ktfo him.

The man gives no response or resistance to Snerp and slumps over once knocked out.

The crew rows back to shore.

(sounds gucci, we'll have to fetch the drow and bring him to the guy. Can't very well just waltz into camp with the guy and not expect him to be strung up immediately. 👍.)
