@Lunatic
I think you should definitely use Magnitude because at worst it’ll be a 1 to 1 trade which benefits us in the long run even if people distrust you

@Barney
Sorry guys I've been busy with family lately but I'll be more active soon.

Nobody stands out looking through the thread but we can probably consider WF, Earth, and obviously Vader safe for this DP.

It seems like we've forgotten about Barney who has only posted once this game, and nothing of substance. If I had to chose now it would be them.

Place your vote on somebody, anybody while your here. It is plurality lynching so ideally we get at least 4 votes on somebody, anybody really just so at least one town member definitely helped decide the lynch outcome

Luna's claim make sense. I don't get the justification of the 3rd line and how Timeframe relates to Justice. I feel like I'm getting PTSD from ERB but I don't know. I can't clear Luna as town because of the neg utility it can bring and how both of those could be useful to scum as well. But the thought process from Luna comes off as townish

I am still making Wylted and Lunatic battle each other in the DP2

Doesn’t matter whether u trust him or not cause we are going to lynch him regardless. He either takes a townie down with him or just dies as scum

Lunatic's role seems really busted. I can only fear what mafia has. If Lunatic does use it, I strongly suggest he'd not tell who he uses it on and I can just get the whole vote count anyway.

I'll make this clear again since the code may have confused people:

For  2  scum, the odds of town victory with a random lynch target is 75%
For  3  scum, the odds of town victory with a random lynch target is 62%
For  4  scum, the odds of town victory with a random lynch target is 50%

This depends on town voting as a block, though. We can't risk letting mafia tie break either through voting or because votes themselves tie.

If you have an informed minority and they are ambitious than voting isn't going to be random

Do you think we'll do worse than random chance? If so we should just pick a random target each time.

I'm good with seeking a claim from Owen at this point. I don't love defaulting to a lack of activity, but if we're going to get more claims, more inactive players should be prioritized in the absence of scum reads.

I am suspicious of Savant and Owen. I keep always find myself going back to Savant but the way he is gaslighting town into his thinking about a very basic stat without contributing much reads is kinda scummy

Hey all, I'm working overtime again today. I have a small break now but I'll check in when I can.

Don't know what Owen's vote count is right now, I won't vote him in case he's at L-1, but I'm fine with seeking a claim from him.

Lunatic's claim seems quite strong, and it would be a really bold fakeclaim for scum. I have a hard time believing he made all that up. Luna goes into my town pile along with Earth and Vader. WF feels towny to me as well, though that's mostly a gutread.

I think if we eliminate one of the players in the remainder, we have a really good chance of hitting scum.

I disagree. The way Savant posted his code, corrected it after realizing an error, and posted his new results just feels very genuine to me, not scummy at all. Savant goes into my town pile as well.

I'm thinking the scum team is among Pie, Owen, Wylted and Bullish. Pie feels like the least likely to be scum to me. Just a gut feeling.

I buy Lunatic's claim 100%, cause I have a similar mechanic to his.

I'm not opposed to everyone full claiming at this point, I legit think we can break the game with these busted roles. Plus with no open votes and no flips, town is at too much of an information disadvantage from the beginning.

I an Spreading and my role ability is called "overmatch", but it works similar to popular townie. The justification is that simply talking fast is a legitimate way to get out more arguments. However spreading has become controversial in recent times because of its over-reliance on technical skill. For this reason I am popular by 2 votes in my first match up, poplar by 1 vote in my second match up, and take a normal amount of votes to kill in my third match up. A caveat is I MUST make more posts in the DP than my opponent for this to take affect. Another important point is that this doesn't work this DP, because this phase is a normal mafia voting phase and not a "matchup"

With earth's role, my role, and lunatics role I think we can confirm a lot of roles in the first match up.

Technically we are supposed to do slightly worse than random chance. The point of the games invention was to illustrate how an informed minority (illuminati type org) could get the majority to work against their own interests. Roles do mitigate the effect a bit though.

Did you account for mechanics like requiring more than the majority required to lynch or multiple votes for scum?
