I'm going to show you by the omission of Jesus according to the scriptures and not contradicting his Father without having to specifically even saying what other books or scripture say specifically regarding homosexuality.

Does the scripture support  homosexuality?
Be mature and intelligent for once and respond only with yes or no.

Does the scripture support homosexuality?
Romans 1:26–27, 1 Corinthians 6:9–10, 1 Timothy 1:9–10 and Jude 1:7 – have been taken to condemn same-sex intercourse

Certain modern terms like beastiality, homosexuality, incest etc were not explicitly used in the Bible. But they were reference as unlawful acts.
The Jewish law provides a long list of what constitutes unlawful sexual intercourse in Leviticus 18-20. According to those statutes, a man was forbidden to have sex with the following:

1. His neighbour’s wife (Leviticus 18:21)

2. Another man (Leviticus 18:22) (homosexuality)

3. An animal (Leviticus 18:23) (beastiality)

4. His mother in law (Leviticus 20:11)

5. His daughter in law (Leviticus 20:12)

6. His sister (Leviticus 20:17)

Sex with any of these would be considered porneia – unlawful.

Homosexual' Has Always Been in the Bible?
The word “arsenokoitai” shows up in two different verses in the bible, but it was not translated to mean “homosexual” until 1946.
Both references in the Hebrew Bible and the New Testament have been interpreted as referring primarily to male homosexual individuals and sexual practices, though the term homosexual was never used as it was not coined until the 19th century.

Did Jesus mention homosexuality?
Does Jesus Ever Talk About Homosexuality? -
1. Jesus did speak about sex and marriage. While it is true that Jesus never specifically mentions homosexuality, it doesn’t mean that He had nothing to say about sexuality or marriage. Jesus employs the K.I.S.S. method[1] and consistently points His listeners back to how things were in the beginning, with male and female, united for life, not to be separated (Mark 10:2-9Open in Logos Bible Software (if available)). But some people assume that since He didn’t specifically mention homosexuality that must mean He was at least ambivalent about it. Such a conclusion does not give enough weight to what Jesus did say or why He only addressed certain topics. (For example, He didn’t say anything about bestiality or incest, either. To be consistent with this argument, you’d have to argue that He was on the fence about those things, too.)

Thats strange, considering that he praised those who dont marry as better than those who marry. And the verse you are talking about talks of divorce, not of heterosexuality being better than gay.

But some people assume that since He didn’t specifically mention homosexuality that must mean He was at least ambivalent about it
The only thing it means is that Jesus didnt speak against homosexuality. He also didnt speak about ice cream.

The only thing it means is that Jesus didnt speak against homosexuality. He also didnt speak about ice cream.

Jesus condemned “all” sexual activity outside of marriage between a man and woman when He said, “Out of the heart proceed evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications…these defile a man” (Matthew 15:19). Jesus was implying that all sexual activity outside of marriage between a man and a woman is harmful and immoral. The word “fornication” in the Greek is porneia; where the word “pornography” comes from. We cannot say, “But I was born this way,” because we were all born to lie, cheat, lust, and deceive, but this doesn’t make it right...it makes us sinful and in need of a Savior.

An argument cannot be based solely on silence. To suggest that Jesus approved of homosexuality simply because He did not use the term “homosexual,” is to imply that He approved of necrophilia, pedophilia, incest, and bestiality. But, of course, we know better.

Other passage in the New Testament are clear on this issue as well. Romans 1:18-32and 1 Corinthians 6:1-20are good places to start. In short, mankind did not see fit to acknowledge God and they suppressed the truth; therefore, God gave them over to a depraved mind—to do those things which are not proper. Homosexual behavior, and sexual sin in general, is comparable with dishonoring the body and turning from God. “The sexual disordering of the human race is a judgment of God for exchanging Him for the creature” (John Piper).

Jesus said that since the beginning of creation, God created them male and female in order that they would be joined together and become one flesh. He adds, “Therefore what God has joined together, let not man separate” (Mark 10:9). Marriage between a man and a woman is God’s plan since creation. No matter how many laws are passed in favor of gay-marriage, it will not change God’s mind. Man often rebels against God; this is nothing new.

Well, homosexuality isnt pornography.

If argument cannot be based on silence, then Jesus's silence on homosexuality cannot mean that he was against it.

We'll help your friend out.
I am going to assume that by "friend" you mean the bible ignorant Sidewalker?

It's my experience that one cannot help another unless they begin to help themselves. Especially someone in complete denial such as Sidewalker is.

The person uses the Bible as a weak foundation to support homosexuality.
You haven't made clear who exactly "the person" is. Why is that?
Regardless:
this is nothing new about believing Christians , if indeed that is what  "the person" is, I don't know what he is? (He hasn't the balls to admit what he is when asked.?)  Believing Christians will simply deny what the BIBLE itself  has to say and they do this in a number of ways going as far as to simply lie about what is actually written in scripture and accuse you of being exactly what it is they are themselves.

Homosexuality.
As I have shown_ The BIBLE makes clear what Gods stance is on the matter as I have also shown many times on this and  many other threads  that are  discussing homosexuality in the BIBLE.  Romans - that will be the New Testamant - refers back  the Old Testamant and supports gods stance on the matter of homosexuality.
Leviticus 20:13 New King James Version (NKJV)
13 If a man lies with a male as he lies with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination. They shall surely be put to death. Their blood shall be upon them.
But "the Person" that you refer to simply wants to deny this. That's because he's a complete twat in denial.

Above HERE>  #86 you accused me of "discussing common known things" and to "keep the bible out of such discussions" adding  that I shouldn't just "regurgitate the common known things".

I have asked you TWICE now to tell me,  how would you have proven that   god hates and despises homosexuality  and finds it an "abomination" without referring to the actual scriptures and the actual verses in the BIBLE!? Please don't ignore me again.

Mall wrote: “This individual side walker has always been immature.
I asked a yes or no question, does the scripture support homosexuality?
I think the person knows this person is caught in a lie saying to support homosexuality because the Bible is not for judging others as if homosexuality makes it automatically approved by that . You have to judge in order to be able to judge what is a sin  which homosexuality is according to the scripture.
I tell this person like the individual going by the name of Stephen, keep the Bible out of this because you're ignorant of many other things in it. Don't just regurgitate the common known things. You really err(error) not knowing the scriptures as the scripture say as well.”

Exactly, Mall. There is no other nor better way than  the BIBLE  So why did you  say this to me!?

Mall wrote: I tell this person like the individual going by the name of Stephen, keep the Bible out of this because you're ignorant of many other things in it. Don't just regurgitate the common known things. #86

I had to mention the BIBLE.   I had to "regurgitate" what should be "commonly known" to ignorant bell ends such as "your friend".  Although "your friend" will continue to deny what is clearly written in the BIBLE concerning gods hate for homosexuality and those that practice it. I had to show that homosexuality is an "abomination" to god . I had to show that god says that the punishment for homosexuality is death and the only way I could possible do so was  by using the words of god himself as written in the BIBLE!

As I have already mentioned:

In Romans - that will be the New Testamant - refers back to the Old Testamant verse claiming the same.
Leviticus 20:13 New King James Version (NKJV)
13 If a man lies with a male as he lies with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination. They shall surely be put to death. Their blood shall be upon them.

Leviticus 20:13

New Living Translation
13 “If a man practices homosexuality, having sex with another man as with a woman, both men have committed a detestable act. They must both be put to death, for they are guilty of a capital offense.

Its the same abomination for Transvestites:

Deuteronomy 22:5 English Standard Version
“A woman shall not wear a man's garment, nor shall a man put on a woman's cloak, for whoever does these things is an abomination to the Lord your God.

And just so we are clear, I am far from " ignorant of many things" where the BIBLE is concerned.

Shila, Mall, and Stephen,

It's quite a stretch to think your prejudice and bigotry is based on the 2,500 years old attitudes of a foreign culture...it is more likely that science provides the explanation, I think.

Homophobes May Be Hidden Homosexuals

An aversive reaction to photos of gay couples may stem from a person's authoritarian parents and their own inner conflict with sexual orientation, researchers have found.

Homophobes should consider a little self-reflection, suggests a new study finding those individuals who are most hostile toward gays and hold strong anti-gay views may themselves have same-sex desires, albeit undercover ones.

The prejudice of homophobia may also stem from authoritarian parents, particularly those with homophobic views as well, the researchers added.
"This study shows that if you are feeling that kind of visceral reaction to an out-group, ask yourself, 'Why?'" co-author Richard Ryan, a professor of psychology at the University of Rochester, said in a statement. "Those intense emotions should serve as a call to self-reflection."

The research, published in the April 2012 issue of the Journal of Personality and Social Psychology, reveals the nuances of prejudices like homophobia, which can ultimately have dire consequences. [The 10 Most Destructive Human Behaviors]

"Sometimes people are threatened by gays and lesbians because they are fearing their own impulses, in a sense they 'doth protest too much,'" Ryan told LiveScience. "In addition, it appears that sometimes those who would oppress others have been oppressed themselves, and we can have some compassion for them too, they may be unaccepting of others because they cannot be accepting of themselves."

Hidden homosexuality
In four studies, the researchers looked at the discrepancies between what people say about their sexual orientation and their implicit sexual orientation based on a reaction-time test. The studies involved college students  from Germany and the United States.

For the implicit measure, students had to categorize words and pictures flashed onto a computer  screen into "gay" or "straight" groups. Words included "gay," "straight," "homosexual" and "heterosexual," while the pictures showed straight and gay couples. Before each trial, participants were primed with the word "me" or "others" flashed momentarily onto a computer screen. The researchers said quicker reaction time for "me" and "gay," and a slower association of "me" with "straight" would indicate said an implicit gay orientation.

Participants indicated their own level of homophobia, both overt and implicit; in word-completion tasks, students wrote down the first three words that came to mind when prompted with some of the words' letters. Students were primed at some point with the word "gay" to see how that impacted the amount of aggressive words used.

Controlling parents
In all of the studies, participants who reported supportive and accepting parents were more in touch with their implicit sexual orientation, meaning it tended to jibe with their outward sexual orientation. Students who indicated they came from authoritarian homes  showed the biggest discrepancy between the two measures of sexual orientation.

"In a predominately heterosexual society, 'know thyself' can be a challenge for many gay individuals," lead author Netta Weinstein, a lecturer at the University of Essex in the United Kingdom, said in a statement. "But in controlling and homophobic homes, embracing a minority sexual orientation can be terrifying."

Those participants who reported their heterosexuality despite having hidden same-sex desires were also the most likely to show hostility toward gay individuals, including self-reported anti-gay attitudes, endorsement of anti-gay policies and discrimination such as supporting  harsher punishments for homosexuals.

The research may help to explain the underpinnings of anti-gay bullying and hate crimes, the researchers note. People in denial about their own sexual orientation, perhaps a denial fostered by authoritarian and homophobic parents, may feel a threat from other gay and lesbian individuals. Lashing out may ultimately be an indicator of the person's own internal conflict with sexual orientation.

This inner conflict can be seen in some high-profile cases in which anti-gay public figures are caught engaging in same-sex acts, the researchers say. For instance, evangelical preacher and anti-gay-marriage advocate Ted Haggard was caught in a gay sex scandal in 2006. And in 2010, prominent anti-gay activist and co-founder of conservative Family Research Council George Rekers was reportedly spotted in 2010 with a male escort rented from Rentboy.com. According to news reports, the escort confirmed Rekers is gay.

"We laugh at or make fun of such blatant hypocrisy, but in a real way, these people may often themselves be victims of repression and experience exaggerated feelings of threat," Ryan said. "Homophobia is not a laughing matter. It can sometimes have tragic consequences," as was the case in the 1998 murder of Matthew Shepard, a gay man.

Is homophobia associated with homosexual arousal?
So it is natural to be aroused by heterosexual and female homosexual videos.

Both groups exhibited increases in penile circumference to the heterosexual and female homosexual videos. Only the homophobic men showed an increase in penile erection to male homosexual stimuli. The groups did not differ in aggression. Homophobia is apparently associated with homosexual arousal that the homophobic individual is either unaware of or denies.

But homophobia is a fear of being aroused by homosexual stimuli.

Just like everything else on this thread, you have completely ignored and or forgotten that  it is (as you put it)  the "2,500 year old"  BIBLE content and beliefs of the age that are discussed and debated on this religion forum, and, - certainly in my case - has nothing to do with my own personal opinion on what I think and or believe about homosexuality in the 21st century.
I can assure you that my reflections on the BIBLE in the 21st century are far removed  from the opinions and attitude of those living and writing 2,500 years ago. But I don't expect a thick bible dunce such as yourself to even consider this.

To break down this simple fact for such a bible dunce as yourself I offer this vile example of something that I wouldn't agree with in the 21st century.

Judges 11:30-40  New English Translation

Making a promise to God.

30 Jephthah made a vow to the Lord, saying, “If you really do hand the Ammonites over to me,  then whoever is the first to come through the doors of my house to meet me when I return safely from fighting the Ammonites—he  will belong to the Lord and  I will offer him up as a burnt sacrifice.”  Jephthah approached  the Ammonites to fight with them, and the Lord handed them over to him.  He defeated them from Aroer all the way to Minnith—twenty cities in all, even as far as Abel Keramim. He wiped them out! The Israelites humiliated the Ammonites.
When Jephthah came home to Mizpah, there was his daughter hurrying out to meet him, dancing to the rhythm of tambourines. She was his only child; except for her he had no son or daughter.  When he saw her, he ripped his clothes and said, “Oh no! My daughter! You have completely ruined me! You have brought me disaster! I made an oath to the Lord, and I cannot break it.”

Can you guess what happened to this poor young virgin,  thicko ?
