Got it. 8 years of playing mafia and I’m still learning new terminology…
I’m not really satisfied with that and would like to hear your role. The defense only addressed one of my points and negative utility is all the more reason to claim imo… I wouldn’t too much stock into whatever your alleged plan is
And yet, here I am unwilling to pressure that much further. For one, I would like to at least try and figure things out myself before pressuring you for it (on the off chance you’re town and I’m underestimating your plan)… and the rest of town is fixated on someone else, so they don’t seem too set on pressuring/lynching you, at least not yet.

Does anyone else find it very weird that Pie reads Banana as being 'aggressive' this game? Because I do. These are all the posts Banana has made about Pie.

My main thought at this time, is that I am a little surprised in pie's activity day phase 1. He seemed a lot more active in the last game, and seems dis-interested here. He was also dis-interested in Mayday mafia, where he happened to be mafia. it seems like he tends to be more active as town. It might be too early to draw that conclusion though as the game has been up for less than 24 hours at this point

My thoughts on scum is loosely between pie, owen and vader. Owen has been active but I don't really see him doing anything impactful yet. Pie is the only one who hasn't posted so right now I am concerned about that. Vader has made an appearance so I will give him some time.

Honestly, if there's no clear consensus on anyone else by the end of the DP, I actually think I should be the lynch. I can interfere with the mafia if I choose well, but it does rely on a bit of luck.
For now, however, I actually kind of want to push Pie for a claim. I believe my vote is already on him, but just in case...

She didn't say you were inactive in Mayday Mafia, but rather that you were (in her opinion) disinterested. Now, I also disagree with that statement, but that's a bit more subjective, and I don't think she would likely make that argument as scum. I can't imagine her partner telling her to say that. I think it's more likely her genuine recollection, even if it's off. Vader had an incorrect recollection about Lunatic talking about me in this very thread this very day. I was actually slightly scumreading him for it (as well as the fact that he said I've been asking vague questions, which is just factually wrong), but then he backed off and I'm back to a null read on him.

Supa hasn’t played for a while. We’re only talking 2 games ago.

I have no opinion on Supa. Right now I would like a full claim from Banana, and we can work from there. At the very least, her concern about claiming + misleading/borderline lying is scummy.

You can look back at my other town games and see that this is a play style that I have and am trying to get rid of. The trouble is everything is getting so hyperanalizyed already I have very few fresh opinions left to contribute.

Iamabanana: Same as Casey I guess. I don’t get the wagon on her, but I’m not defending her. I’ve seen some townie posts that seem a bit of an advanced play for a newer player, but that’s still not much for me to go on. I wouldn’t mind a claim though, as we don’t have many other people to pursue.
Ilikepie5: Honestly, I’m a little confused here. I’m pretty sure I remember that Pie has always been a more aggressive player, but I don’t really get why he’s pushing banana so hard. I know I’ve said basically this same thing in many games before, so it’s probably nothing, but I’m getting a bit of a weird vibe.
I know I basically didn’t give reads on the people who matter most, but I’ll do some more reading and tell you what I think.
Also, you people should not be town clearing me this fast. I get not wanting to lynch me DP1, but I should not be as high on the town list as I am.

I want to pressure Banana. Her claim that I was “disinterested” in one game is just plain wrong. The aggression is also a diversion from her behavior as town. Directly going from inactivity to scum and voting me is odd. Worrying about claiming DP1 is also something a noob scum would worry about

If so you doubling down on voting me for voting you comes off as extremely defensive lol. I am literally voting you for the same thing I get voted for every game, and have been forced to claim on dp1 3 days in a row for. If multiple people want a claim I will give it, but I have been way more active than you so far and have made an honest effort this game at contributing more, so you will need a better reason than hurt pride if you want my claim.
Okay, now I get the wagons on Casey and Banana. The way some people were going after them, I kinda assumed one of them scum-slipped or something, but as far as I can tell, it’s a slight behavior change and PoE.
I don’t hate either of their lunches since it’s DP1, but I don’t really scum read them either. I agree that banana is different, but it seems in a good way to me, and behavior can change a lot once you get more familiar with the game.

I agree that banana is different, but it seems in a good way to me, and behavior can change a lot once you get more familiar with the game.

Good job keep making posts then. I don't know if you want a cookie or something, but I was pressuring you for inactivity, is that not the exact same thing you pushed vader for? Why are you being a hypocrite? How are you not being defensive? You are begging for me to claim because I voted you, and that's the entire reason. Hope others can see the ridiculousness with what you are saying.
Okay, now I'm starting to agree with Pie. I don't like #176 at all.
I think I get where Pie is coming from in terms of his read on Banana, I'm just not convinced she's scum. The confusion over Pie's behavior in a previous game is the main basis for the sus that has legs (the VTL less so, since Pie was inactive for quite a while, which isn't common, and she tends to respond pretty negatively and defensively to pressure), and I can see how this might have been a pretty weak effort to throw some sus at Pie. That being said, if the goal was to try and get a mislynch off of the effort, I don't see why Banana would target Pie of all people or why she would keep up that effort now. Pie isn't getting lynched.
I'm fine with pushing for more information from Banana, though, since she has held off on claiming an album and seems pretty cagey in her responses, particularly that last one.

Sure, she’s been more aggressive/defensive, but I’d chalk that up to getting more comfortable with the game.
I think she recognized she was new before, and kinda hung back and listen to the other people, but now that she’s getting more involved, she’s voicing opinions more and that might come off as aggressive. I just take it as being involved.
