I say this: I understand your point and it’s worth revisiting later, but I’m not seeing any real red flags for now. In fact, looking back his posts, I’m feeling at least at tiny bit better about him after he posted his thoughts. They’re not much, but they do come off as honest, albeit low effort.
No one is a red flag. In fact there should be 0 red flags in Dp1 unless there is a scum slip. Reads in  Dp1 for me are behavior patterns I notice that I like to put caution on to revisit when we get more info into the later DP2.

 just that I can see him playing with little confidence, no matter his affiliation.
You probably have a better idea than me on Owen so I'm definetly not as eager to move the eager on him, let alone in Dp1

I remember in a game that Lunatic had a good observation that Casey generally tends to ask more vague questions as scum to sort of blend in this game.
What game was that? I thought you were talking about Years mafia, since we were all in that one and I do remember Luna scumread me pretty hard DP2, but that was mainly due to NK analysis and reading me as being aggressive towards Moozer. Also, what question have I asked that has been vague?

I’m not seeing what you’re seeing here on Casey. To me the questions she’s asked this DP don’t look vague. They look like blend-in behavior, except with her questioning on Moozer, which looks like probing.

I think I’d like to start pressuring her for a claim.

If Casey can sufficiently address my concerns about her, I’ll back off. If not, my vote stays and it’ll take a reasonable claim to save her.

I’ll give her time to type and y’all time to think, cause I also just want to take a nap. Stayed up too late typing up reads and had to wake up early for church.

I won’t sleep too long; I know we’ve only got 20 hours.

Ok I think I'm going to change my read on Casey to null then. I tried finding the game that I was refering but I genuinely couldn't it. I think maybe Luna was refering to someone else at the time. Idk I haven't played with a lot of the people for a long period of time to be over familiar with their playstyle

Sure. I definitely understand your scum leaning on me. Tbh, even I realized that my question towards Moozer about his role came off as a bit scummy. As for this quote:

I had only responded to you two times when you said that, and one of them was when you had tagged me directly. I'm generally pretty quick to respond to people as long as they tag me. I was pretty occupied throughout most of yesterday in general, which is why I was only able to get online for fairly brief stretches of time.

I will say that I am one of those town players who tends to get in a lot of people's scum pools. Mayday, Indian Politicians, Years, Middle School, Heroic Heroes -- all games where I was town and still ended up on many players' scum radar by the end of DP1. Idk why exactly, maybe it just has something to do with my playstyle.

As for my role, I'm fine with claiming if the town puts enough pressure on me. I'll say this for now: if I get mislynched today, I'm probably the best option. My role is overall net negative utility for the town, though not an SOP claim like Miller or PGO. If I get lucky with how I use it, it can help out the town, and I have a particular strategy for how I intend to use it.

Damn, this really fell off. We don't have the kind of time to just let things sit as they are, so it's mainly a question of who we want to get claims from at this stage. I'm not comfortable lynching based on the limited information we have and I don't think anyone wants a NL, so who are people most inclined to push for a claim atm? A lack of behavioral insight makes me lean Owen.

I feel like we’re all waiting for the game to actually start.

Which is annoying to me, because in the past few games I’ve played I’ve found like to sit back and observe the early DP, and now everyone else wants to do it now, which completely ruins it.
Normally I go in as you know. But I was with the girl and was not on my phone at all lol

I get the sense that someone is trying to blend in instead of getting the game going. You can all guess on who I’m thinking of.

Why are you so worried about claiming or not? Circumstances make it so that sometimes you have to claim early. There’s no discrimination towards new players.

I would probably be wiling to be on your wagon without a claim. You do seem to be in a lot of scum pools and it's probably a strong possibility you could be a compromise lynch. 

With that said it looks like you soft claimed by stating your role is a negative utility which is good enough for me

I will do my best. My main thought at this time, is that I am a little surprised in pie's activity day phase 1. He seemed a lot more active in the last game, and seems dis-interested here.
I was busy. And my MO is to be active every game. 

He was also dis-interested in  Mayday mafia, where he happened to be mafia.
That’s just wrong. I was very active DP1. DP2 I faked being silenced. DP3, I conceded because it was obvious I was scum.

it seems like he tends to be more active as town. It might be too early to draw that conclusion though as the game has been up for less than 24 hours at this point

I want to pressure Banana. Her claim that I was “disinterested” in one game is just plain wrong. The aggression is also a diversion from her behavior as town. Directly going from inactivity to scum and voting me is odd. Worrying about claiming DP1 is also something a noob scum would worry about
