Well in that case, I was going to do this last night but I forgot. Here's some reads.

Town:

Banana, Austin: Banana is a new player and I don't see anything suspicious behaviorally. Austin has been pretty active, but beyond that he's provided us with lots of reads and real stuff rather than fluff posting. 

Lean Town:

Luna, Whiteflame: Mostly based on activity at this point. Not much else to go on DP1

Null:

Casey, Earth, Vader: In order from most to least scummy IMO. Again, it's mostly activity, (so I can't really be talking), but I'm also getting different behavioral vibes from Casey as Austin mentioned. Same thing happened last game and I was wrong, so still not much to go on.

If we are gonna focus inactives id rather go for supa because at least we have some info on moozer to work with. Supa has literally given nothing to do this phase helpful at all.
The difference is that we can get a claim from Moozer. I'm fine defaulting to a Vader lynch if necessary, but we need information in this DP and Vader's a dry well.

Appreciate the reads, even if it seems like scum is just less active players. What do you think of Earth's claim? He's the only one of us who has a character claim on the table and he did so without knowing that anyone else had a minister character.

I’m not sure I fully see the tone difference stuff you mention but honestly it is the only behavior read we have to work with so far and just because I don’t see it doesn’t mean it isn’t there. Worse come worse is being willing to look at Casey as a lynch option for today but Vader I think needs to answer for his activity before the end of the day phase and if he doesn’t end up posting I would rather focus him. He was just as inactive last game and ended up being scum. Nothing irks me more than letting scum skate to the end with inactivity.

Well he is here and posting now so that is 100% more helpful to me than anything Vader is doing. I guess that m not super focused on theme here because Indian politics feels so foreign to me so character claims mean less to me, and like I said earlier mafia have the benefit of knowing the theme split so I feel like more claims dp1 just help them sus out power roles np1.

I guess that m not super focused on theme here because Indian politics feels so foreign to me so character claims mean less to me, and like I said earlier mafia have the benefit of knowing the theme split so I feel like more claims dp1 just help them sus out power roles np1. 
At this point, I'm not looking for anything relating to theme. I think there's value in pursuing this information for the reason that they still have to fashion a fake claim and, at least this early, could be CC'd. I think if we wait to receive any full claims for next DP, we're giving scum more opportunities to fashion fake claims by waiting to ask Pie as long as possible and, at minimum, getting two flips to work with in fashioning those claims.

As for Moozer being more helpful, I agree, but again, I'm not sure what that has to do with seeking a claim. Yes, there's a risk of giving too much info to scum, but I'm not OK with ending the DP effectively claimless aside from Earth's character. I don't think that does town any favors.

I think it could go either way really. On one hand, it seems unlikely for scum to claim so early and with such a weird character.

On the other hand, I wouldn’t rule out some WIFOM strategy. The whole minister thing could have been an accident.

I think it's possible that he's still scum, but I don't think this is a WIFOM situation. If he derived this claim from asking Pie about it after having seen that everyone was claiming a character in the Indian parliament, he necessarily would have stood out for it if no one else claimed a ministerial role. I'd said that my role wasn't in parliament, but I just don't think it's likely that he'd luck into a claim that jives so well with mine. Frankly, if he's sus, then so am I.

I'd prefer to get a claim from Casey. Moozer's recent posts feel pretty relaxed, not really the kind of overdefensiveness I would expect over getting sussed over a small thematic  thing. I'm also sussing Vader by POE, but I doubt we'll get anything from him.

Alright. I'm fine with switching my vote as long as it's going to get us somewhere, though I'll note that Moozer's likely to feel relaxed about it so long as there's only one vote on him. Regardless, staying in a holding pattern where we're avoiding seeking claims just because we want one from an absent Vader first or because we don't want to give scum information doesn't sit right with me. I'm all for restricting the number of claims we collect, but refusing to seek any claim does us no favors.

Given that we have around 12 hours left in the day, I'm going to assume Vader isn't going to break through the front door with a stellar analysis. I'm fine with a character claim from anyone besides WF, Casey and Banana. I think those are soild town. For the time being, that should be on the agenda before policy lynching Vader, unless someone slips hard ofc.

Personally, I'm a little less convinced that Earth's claim means he is likely town. The theme here is just 'Indian Politicians', not members of the Indian Parliament. That being said, I don't see any particular reason to scumread him. Earth is more of a null read for me.

As for my character, I'll claim if I get to L-2, but for now I'll say that I feel like I softed my character pretty heavily in #38

I saw that softclaim, just not sure I understand the system of government well enough to know what that would translate into. Regardless, you wouldn't be my first pick for a claim, but I haven't heard anyone else suggested yet.

I feel the same. I don't think anyone in particular stands out as scummy right now. Nonetheless, I think we should try and get a full claim from someone before the DP ends. I don't scum read Moozer, but I don't town read him either, so I think going after him makes as much sense as any of my other null reads. Worst comes to worst, we just lynch Vader for inactivity.

Well I know i am not the most help but heres my 2 cents: Whiteflame and austin feel like they have the most authentic posting styles so far, and seem really knowledgable about the game. I am taking their views into account more than other peoples. I think lunatic's response to whiteflame does feel kind of wierd and it feels like he is deflecting from moozer.

Also I am sorry for not being the most active, I have been a bit busy this weekend. But for now I want to follow whiteflames lead, so I will be willing to vote for moozer and lunatic. We can start with moozer.
