Also, just putting this out there, I think Owen is the most likely partner.

it’s possible, but yea I do agree it’s weird that their is two vanillas. I’m more inclined to believe your town than him since you claimed first.

For me, it's not so much the fact that Owen also claimed Vanilla as the fact that his justification is basically the same as mine, only with a different ruler.

Both Luna and Owen claimed their years as late as possible (Owen about a day before Luna, but notably without any other claims in between), and while Owen did say that his role doesn't make much sense, it's odd to say that after having seen Casey claim Vanilla off of a relatively weak justification in a similar vein. Definitely stands out.

Good news: since JoeBob saved his Vig, we don't really have to know which of them it is. Could just shoot one and lynch the other.

Alright, I haven’t been as active as I should, so here’s some reads.

My top two scum reads would be either Casey or Vader, and I do mean either. Generally when two players are trying to wagon the other one I take it as a sign that it’s unlikely both are scum. Bussing at this point in the game seems like too risk of a strategy IMO.

I scumread Casey more last DP, but since then they have cleared up most of those reasons. They have been acting slightly different I think, but that’s just a gut feeling, and honestly behavioral reads shouldn’t be the only basis for a lynch. The Vanilla claim still Bugs me though.

Then there’s Vader on the other hand. I don’t give much scum thought to the lurking and little activity. It has some weight with me, but not lots. The claim bothers me a little more, but not a ton.

I haven’t read the DP in as much depth as I should, so a part of this scum read is trusting Casey and Whiteflame, but they could be scum team. If Casey is scum then I might sus WF as partner, but I’m getting ahead of myself.

I don't see a way that Vader isn't scum based on his claim and mine, but if he somehow flips town, Casey and I should be high on everyone's shitlist.

As for my perspective, Casey's been calling him out longer than I have, so I'm townreading them behaviorally. If I'm going to sus a Vanilla claim, it won't be Casey's.

Actually I was only being asked for a range if I remember correctly and everyone was giving ranges I gave my full date.

I’ll take your word for it. It was later in the DP and by then, most of the given claims were individual years rather than ranges. You did give your year rather than a range, but I figured in part that that was a response to being placed at L-1.

I guess I can full claim since I’m the last one but I wanted to get a result before outting. But oh well. I am 476 AD. Paraphrase: basically after years of invasions resulting is the city being sacked multiple times, a falling economy, and many deposed and murdered rulers, western Rome fell. While Eastern Rome watched these events unfold from a distance without doing much, life in Eastern Rome largely continued as normal after this. This is why I am a watcher. NP1 I chose to watch Whiteflame because I figured he would be a likely visit since he is generally a more active player and might pose a threat to mafia if town. I was surprised he wasn’t visited which is partially why I was suspicious of him going into dp2.

However now I do believe his claim, as fake claiming that would be suicide at this stage in the game and it almost 100% implicates supa as scum. It makes sense now to me why Whiteflame was so dead set about supa early on this phase.

So what from here? Well since I have been calling out loudly about supa buddying his team mate he likely tried to include his scum mate in his scum reads. I don’t think it’s joebob though knowing if he is lying that joebob isn’t implicated by him therefor making joebob likely town. Also based on interactions it probably makes Casey town. I’m guessing supa put Owen as his slight scum read though to place some distance between them but largely these two haven’t really interacted much. I am thinking OwenT is probably his scum mate at this point. 

I may be overthinking his potential to bus and maybe Casey and him bussed each other but I kind of doubt it. But we can worry about that next day phase I guess right now my top scum read for his partner is OwenT.

To be clear I am not suspicious of Owen for the CC of the vanilla. Multiple vanillas existing in a game is not a CC in my eyes. Though I do agree with Whiteflame in hindsight the comment about his role being wierd is a bit confusing if he is indeed a vanilla.

I don’t wanna to explain this too much for obvious reasons, but assuming Whiteflame and moozer are town, going into np2 with a bodyguard, watcher and a justice should almost guarantee a scum lynch tomorrow if we use our roles smartly. This is even considering there is a roleblocker (though no one has claimed to be blocked so I have no reason to believe one exists).

Watcher and a Motion Detector? Interesting. I know that in Luna's Recycled Roles V2 there was both a Tracker and a Motion Detector, but in this game we also have an Affiliation Checker. That does make me wonder a bit.

In any case, Vader is scum, so let's boot him. VTL Vader

I was going to call it a night, but I guess the hammer happened.

Not much to say at this point, tbh. I still think it comes down to Owen and Luna, and if I had to pick one, it'd be Owen based on how he breadcrumbed his claim in DP1 and just that it's a strange role to give the dawn of an empire.

Moozer and JoeBob should definitely act tonight. I won't say who I'm going to BG and I won't suggest specific targets for either of you.
